"So, Reese, what do you plan to do after high school?" My mom asked, pilling food on her plate.

Reese's hands twitched in mine.

"Um, I was actually going to pursue my dream as an agent," he said as i passed him the bowl of salad.

He watched my parents intently. Probably waiting for them to criticize him about not going to college and telling him not to ever speak to me again. I smiled as i looked down at my plate. My parents were nothing like that.

"Really? Thats so exciting!" My mom said picking up her fork.

Reese smiled at her and squeezed my hand under the table. My daddy didn't say anything but i could tell that he was impressed.

"How do your parents feel about that?"

Reese tensed up and instantly released my hand. Me and Reese never talked about his parents. Matter of fact i've never even thought about his parents. Until now.

"Um. Both of my parents are dead."

The table got silent. I didn't know that myself. I looked over at Reese to see him looking at his plate. He was hurting. I found his hand under the table again and when he tried to pull away, I held on tighter.

He looked at me, pain clear as day in his eyes. I gave him a smile, letting him know that it didn't matter. That I was still here.

He tightened his hand in mine again and picked up his fork.

"So, back to being an agent."

The conversation switched over quickly, which i was grateful. Thanks Mom.

All of the tension from the table quickly disappeared and we were once again all smiles. Reese's body relaxed and his words were less tense. My dad even added in a couple of sentences to ease the table a little. I could tell he meant every word though. He liked Reese. I knew it.

I watched my boyfriend talk about his profession with nothing but joy in his eyes. He let go of my hand every now and then because he would get so into his conversation that he would start making hand motions but whenever he finished he would quickly lace his fingers back through mine. I loved that.

When we finished dinner, and mom had excused herself to get dessert, my dad spoke up.

"Reese, I like you. I just dont like what you've done. If you can promise me one thing then you'll be alright in my books."

Reese nodded his head thoughtfully.
"Anything."

"Never hurt my daughter again."

Reese let a smile cover his face as the back of his thumb rubbed the skin on my hand.

"I wasn't planning too."

My dad smiled then and offered his hand to Reese.

"I'll miss you," i said leaning against the front door. Dinner had went amazing and now I was walking Reese to the car.

"I'll miss you more, but i agree with your mom. You need to go do your work."

I cringed and glared at him.

"Whats up with you and my moms little alliance against me?" I asked sticking my finger into his chest.

He took it to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on it.

"We both want whats best for you is all baby. No alliance."

"What're you about to do?" I asked as he wrapped me in his arms. He kissed both my cheeks, and my nose, and my forehead.

" Going to my brothers home, to see if they can trace the text message Moon sent, so we can know exactly where he is."

I nodded and swallowed the lump that entered my throat. Reese went back to kissing all over my face while i debated how to ask my next question.

"Reese?"

He pulled his lips off of my skin and looked down at me, letting me know that i had his attention.

"Why didn't you tell me you're parents were dead?"

He stared at me long and hard. He didn't say a word, just stared.

"Thats a conversation for another day. Preferably a day when you can spend the night at my house again and when you aren't nose deep in school work."

I nodded. I could respect that.

"I Love You," I said wrapping my arms tightly around his waist.

He pressed his lips to mine gently.

"I love you too. I'll see you tomorrow, kay?"

I nodded and watched as he released me, kissed me once more, got in his car and zoomed off down the street.

I walked back inside to see my parents on the couch. My dad had his arm around my mom and her head was tucked under his chin. I smiled.

"I'm going to do my work and then head off to bed, so night. I love you guys."

They snapped their heads to me and gave me warm smiles.

"We love you too sweetheart. See you in the morning." My dad said smiling.

I started to go up the stairs but the doorbell rung.

"I'll get it," i said laughing. Reese must have forgotten his jacket or something.

When i pulled open the door though, it wasn't Reese. It was David.

"Sorry, if its too late, but the project is due tomorrow and we really need to finish. I've been calling all week."

I looked at him and suddenly started to feel uneasy.

"May i come in?"

Reese's POV

I've been at Ricks house for almost three hours now and sleepy wasn't even close to what i was feeling, and to top it off Chloe wasn't replying to my text messages. i had texted her about 20 times.

"Go home Reese. You look like you can pass out any moment."

I looked at my brother.

"Chloe's parents asked about mom and dad," I whispered.

He looked at me hard. As if he was daring me to continue. I looked at him and felt moisture at the bottom of my eyelids.

"Come here."

My brother pulled me into a bear hug.

"Its ok Reese. We all hurt, but its ok to talk about them. Listen I'm sorry for all that i did, what i blamed you for, when they died. Its not your fault. "

"Its ok. I didn't blame you because i know that you didn't mean it."

"YOU SHOULD HAVE!"

i pulled away from him and wiped my tears. I was suppose to be a man. We both were.

I shook my head at him.

"I didn't blame you because i knew the pain. It was only the hurt. I, as well as you, know that you say things you dont mean when you're hurt or angry. I didnt hold you accountable nor did i feel bad when you took our brothers away because if they wanted to reach out to me then they could. They know where i was."

He stared at me hard before placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Tomorrow when you leave school, you and Chloe go to the agency. I might be late due to a meeting at work but every one else should be there. Including Rico and Lance. Tomorrow."

I nodded my head and walked towards the door.

"I Love you little brother."

"I Love You too Big Brother."

And then i was outside, sitting in my car, with no where to go. Home wasn't an option because Chloe wasn't there with me and it was messy. I wanted her to clean it. That sounds terrible i know.

So since i wasn't going home and Chloe wasnt answering my phone calls anyway, im just going to show up and knock on her window.

I smiled at myself as i tossed the idea around in my head for awhile, before turning on my car and heading her way.

You'd be surprised at how shocked i was when i saw another car parked where my car had been before i left. I quickly parked my car and got out. I knew that Chloe's window was on the second floor so i picked up a rock and threw it. Her light was on so i knew she was awake. I threw another rock and waited patiently.

"Reese, why are you here?" She yelled as she finally came to the window.

"Because i wanted to be with you! Now can you let me in or what?" I whispered.

She looked back into her room and then at me a few times before gesturing for me to go to the front door. I quickly circled the house and walked onto the porch. When she opened the door she tackled me into a hug with a small giggle. I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Come on. Now listen, im doing a project thats due tomorrow with a friend so be nice and behave."

The way she was speaking and how she didnt address if it was a boy or a girl let me know that it was a boy. I groaned and shot her a look but she only giggled and pulled me faster.

When we entered her room, there was a boy at her desk waiting.

"Sup," He said standing up and holding his hand out for me. I felt an uneasy vibe coming from this guy but i gave him my hand anyway.

I pulled Chloe closer to me and nodded my head at the guy.

"I'm David."

I didn't say anything just stared at him. He looked to familiar.

"You've been here before.In this city."

I didn't ask him. I told him.

His eyes got wide and he looked at Chloe and me quickly but nodded his head.

"Yes, when i was a child, but my mom left my dad and we moved. Now that my moms dead I'm back here with my dad."

I pursed my lips. Something isn't right but before i could ask him another question he turned towards Chloe and Began to talk.

"Look, I finished up the paper while you were opening the door. I sent it to myself and I'll print it off at home. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Bye."

He quickly picked up all of his things and practically ran towards the door and out of the house.

Chloe was silent.

"Reese you scared him," she pouted as she pulled away from me and closed her door.

"Whats his last name?" I asked as i shrugged off my jacket.

Chloe opened her mouth but quickly closed.

"I have no idea."

I have an idea but i'll rather not mess up. If its who i think it is then he's up to no good and my girlfriend was already in to deep then i expected.

"Find out and let me know."

She nodded and sat down on the bed.

I took of my shirt and shoes and followed her. "Enough of him, i came back for you so come here."

She turned off the lights and made sure the door was locked before snuggling into me under the covers.

"You have to leave early so my parents wont know you're here," She yawned.

I nodded.

"Ok, I'll come back though. Im bringing you to school with me."

It was her turn to nod her head before she was fast asleep. I soon followed her.

And i have never slept better.

David POV

"Dad, i think Reese remembers me," i whispered quietly into the phone.

My dad was silent on the other end.

"It doesn't matter. Come home we have a lot to discuss."

He hung up.

He was upset.

So I was upset as well.

And no one likes when the Moons were upset.
