Yuvan was shocked to hear that. That pub was of Kapoor's themselves and that night Kavita had come there for inspection.

She went to the backyard and she saw something that lit a ray of hope inside her.

Yuvan and Shreya were laughing heartedly at something. Kavita couldn't even recall when did she last time saw Yuvan laughing like that. He looked so happy with Shreya.

"Mom??", Yuvan said in a shaking voice. "You did this".

Kavita swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded lightly. "Yes, it was me. I know did so wrong especially with that girl but I don't regret it".

Kavita thought that now Yuvan will have his own family, his wife, his children. He will get everything he deserves.

On the other hand, Yuvan didn't know how to react. He was so angry at her. She did this to her own son.

Rajeev stopped the car where Shreya had asked him to.

Shreya exited the car, lost in her own thoughts. Rajeev stared as she walked away. He thought that how can his boss choose a girl like this. Yuvan had always liked prime and proper, sophisticated girls and Shreya was nothing like that.

Shreya was scared about what her so-called family would say if they get to know about this. What would she answer if they ask her what happened??

She remembers drinking beer with Yuvan. She remembers the insult, Krish had thrown on her and the reason why she went to meet Krish.

Her stepmother.

"Shreya! How many times will you try to get a film. It's been four years and you have always faced rejection. Just get married already. I have a few good offers for you. I am your stepmom but I love you like my own daughter ".

A sarcastic smile came on Shreya's face as she thought about her stepmother.

"Your eldest sister is a top model and actress.Second sister is a popular singer. She has millions of followers on social media. But baby, what are you doing? Still struggling ".

In situations like this, Shreya thinks it's best to keep her mouth shut. She would keep quiet and Devika would humiliate her like this.

She went straight to her best friend, Nitya's house because she didn't have the courage to face her family.

"Oh so now you got time to visit me", Nitya commented as soon as Shreya entered.

"I am sorry Ni. I woke up late", Shreya spoke in a defeated tone.

She was done!! She was feeling so done with everything!

Her family!! Her failed career!!

And now she slept with a man whom she doesn't even know.

Nitya looked at her and immediately understood what happened because of the love bites on her neck. Those red marks were the proof of the sinful deeds which they had done last night.

Nitya rumaged through her clothes and took out a t-shirt and sweatpants.

"Get a shower and take these clothes", Nitya said and handed the clothes to her.

She went inside the washroom and looked at herself in the mirror. She was shocked to see the marks on her neck. They were so clear. She was so ashamed of herself.

That guy was a monster!! Look what he has done. Mrs. Kapoor might have seen these and as well as his manager. Now, I have to be more careful at home", she thought to herself.

Suddenly, her phone started ringing.

She hesitantly picked up the call.

"Hello??"

"Where were you last night??", Harsh Arora, her father asked her. His tone was telling that he was angry with her.

Harsh Arora would never call her unless the matter is really important and serious. He would have rarely performed a duty as her father.

He was her so-called father.

"I was shooting last night. A new....", before she could complete, he cut her sentence off in between.

"I don't care what you were doing last night. How dare you stay out all night?? What do you think we all are??", He shouted through phone.

She kept listening to all the scolding as if it didn't leave an effect on her. She had become used to all this. All these years, she has gone through this and now it doesn't affect her.

She put the call on speaker and started combing her tangled hairs.

"You elder sister, Ridhi's in laws are coming today to fix the date of their engagement. If I don't see you in home in next fifteen minutes then, don't even bother coming back".

Shreya's hand immediately stopped but Harsh didn't.

"And also forget about the last memory of your beloved dead mother. I would myself throw that away", he said and disconnected the call without listening to her reply.

Shreya took a shower and went back as soon as possible. She apologised to Nitya and promised her to explain everything later.

When she reached home, Devika asked her to prepare dishes for the guests. Of course she was called early for this!! The servants stuff!

Her mother, Aditi and her father had an extramarital affair. Harsh was already married to Devika but he cheated on her. Aditi died in a car accident years later and Shreya was left in the custody of Harsh.

Harsh and Devika had two daughters and a son.

Ridhi, the eldest one, 28 years old. Then Rhea, 25 years old and Rishi, 21 years old.

Ridhi was soon getting married to her boyfriend Dev Chopra who was an architect.
