THE LAST CHAPTER - PART A

"Hum bhot pyaar karte hai aapse."

There was sheer silence in the atmosphere only their raging heartbeats could be heard. After a while Sanyukta looked up from his shoulder to see him chuckling softly.

"Aap humara koi kaam bigaade bina nhi reh sakti naa?" He asked still chuckling.

"Kya matlab?" She asked getting confused.

"Humne aaj ki poori date plan ki, aapko itni saari jagah leke gye, yaha laaye, sirf aapse ek baat kehne ke liye. Lekin jaise hi hum aapse woh baat kehne wale the, humare shabd aap bol di aur humare saare plan pe pani pher diya." He hit his own forehead not knowing whether to be happy or sad.

"Hum abhi bhi nhi samjhe." She made a face.

"Arree humara matlab ki hum aapse apne pyaar ka izhaar pehle karna chahte the par aap hume shanti se jeene de aisa hua hai kya aaj tak." He laughed at her cute face.

Sanyukta took a minute to process his words and finally sat up with a jolt as she understood it.

"Matlab aap bhi humse pyaar karte hai?" She asked excitedly.

"Koi shaq? Par hum aise himmat nhi harenge aakhir itna kuch kehna hai aapse." He sat beside her.

"Boliye naa." She smiled and he took her hands in his to tell her.

"Sanyukta aapko toh pata hi hai ki humari zindagi mei kabhi kisi ladki ki jagah nhi thi, sirf hum aur humara kaam. Phir ek din humne ek ladki ko kuch gundo se ladte hue dekha, woh ekdum kisi hero ki tarah maar rhi thi unhe, turant uski chavi humare dil mei bas gyi, uska chehra tak nhi dekh paaye the lekin usse ek connection feel hua." He confessed looking down and smiling dreamily.

"Naam bataiye hume uska, abhi goli maar kar ayenge. Sharam nhi aayi aapko humare saamne kisi aur ladki ki baat karte samay." Sanyukta said through her gritted teeth.

"Arree humari raajdhani express poori baat toh sun lijiye. Ab beech mei mat boliyega, hume khatam karne dijiye." He warned her.

Sanyukta twisted her lips and looked away.

"Toh kaha the hum? Haan woh ladki, uski sirf bike pehchan paaye the hum uss din. Phir hum uske baare mei almost bhool gye kyuki humare saamne ek aur badi samasya aagyi, aap. Hume laga tha ki humdono ka rishta kabhi nhi chal sakta. Phir uss din aapke ghar pe, humne aapki bike dekhi aur hume pata chala ki humari biwi hi woh ladki hai jisne humare dil aur dimag ko corrupt kar rakha hai." He chuckled at the last line.

Sanyukta looked back at him in shock but unable to fight the huge grin breaking on her face.

"Pata hai ki hum aapko pehle pasand kahe nhi karte the? Woh kya hai na, college mei humara title tha Mr. Dabbangg, sab darte the humse. Khoob rob tha humara. Lekin baad mei pata chala ki humara title aapko mil gya hai Miss. Dabbangg, bhot jalan hui thi aapse uss wakt. Phir jab aap humse ladi toh aur buri lagi, kya karte akhir pehli baar kisi ki himmat hui thi humse aise baat karne ki. Phir jaise jaise hum aapke kareeb aate gye, hume pata chala ki aapke kitne roop hai, jo aap sabko nhi dikhati. Aapke liye humare dil mei izzat aur pyaar badhta hi raha." Both of them smiled remembering the old days.

Sanyukta was in tears and cupped his face.

"Jab uss renuka ne aapke saamne hume nicha dikhane ki koshish ki, toh ek minute ke liye hume laga ki humne aapko kho diya. Uss ek minute ne hume zindagi bhar ke liye aapki ehemiyat sikha di hume. Aapne jis tarah humpar apna vishwas jataya, hume pata tha ki aapke bina saans lena bhi mushkil hoga humare liye." He whispered now looking straight into her eyes.

"Randhir..." She was about to speak something, her eyes were raining already, but he kept a finger on her lips.

"Hume bolne dijiye Sanyukta. Hume zyada pyaar bhari baate karni toh nhi aati, bas jo humare dil mei tha sab bol diya. Hum aapse jitna pyaar karte hai woh hum shabdo mei toh nhi baya kar payenge par vada karte hai ki baaki tareeko se zindagi bhar aapko apna pyaar dikhate rahenge, aapse itna toot ke pyaar karenge ki aap khud hi pareshan hojaye lekin hum nhi rukenge." He said it all in one go and looked at her for any reaction.

He had a calm smile on his face with a hint of moisture in eyes, his love for her was so overwhelming for himself that he couldn't find suitable words to describe it. He didn't had any tension as she had already confessed her love to him.

After a minute of staring into his eyes and finding all the love he was talking about, she threw her arms around his shoulder and hugged him as tightly as humanly possible. The sudden attack left randhir unbalanced and he fell back on the mattress, taking her on top of him.

"Hume nhi pata tha ki kabhi koi humse bhi itna pyaar kar sakta hai." She sobbed on his shoulder.

"Aap itna nhi isse bhi bhot zyada pyaar deserve karti hai." He caressed her hair softly.

"Hum bhi aapse bhot bhot pyaar karte hai randhir, hum vada karte hai ki humesha aapke saath aise hi rahenge aur aapse isse bhi zyada pyaar karenge. Aapko apna pyaar dikhane ke liye kuch karne ki zarurat nhi hai, hume jab bhi dekhna hoga tab bas aapki aakho mei dekh lenge." She looked up straight into his eyes.

He wiped her tear drenched face lovingly, caressing it all the way from her cheeks to her lips. Both looked at each other's lips with raging desires. Without thinking for even a moment, Sanyukta mated their lips. This was by far the most wild and passionate kiss they had ever shared, they were trying to put in all they had in themselves for the other person.

All their kisses had love and compassion in them but this one was very special as it had a sense of accomplishment in it, that they were finally one, emotionally. This feeling gave them immense happiness and the gentle wind only added to the increasing warmth in their hearts.

After a good 20 minutes they left each other and joined their foreheads.

"I love you randhir." She spoke again.

"I love you too Sanyukta." He replied again.
