"Humne bulaya"

Harsh and all others were stunned to see Aryan standing there, piercing renuka with his gaze. With his fists curled up, eyes oozing fire, jaws tightened and tensed stance, he looked no less than a person ready to kill anyone.

"Aryan aap?" Harsh was perplexed.

"Ji pitaji hum, hume pata tha yeh phir se aapko apni baato mei phasane ki koshish karegi jo iss baar hum nhi hone de sakte the, toh humne kaka ko dhoond nikala aur bula liya." He said and sandhir looked at him proudly.

"Matlab aapko pehle se pata tha?" Harsh's voice very unsure.

Before aryan could answer him, Sanyukta butted in.

"Pitaji humne bataya tha inhe." Her head low.

"Aap bhi?" He scrunched his brows.

"Ji woh humne hi inko batayi thi yeh baat." She said slowly.

"Aapko bhi pata tha? Yeh ho kya rha hai? Kab pata chala aapko?" He clutched his head and pulled his hair in frustration.

"Pitaji please shant hojaiye, hum aapko poori baat shuruwat se batate hai. Aap baithiye please." She held his hand, made him sit and ordered a maid to get water for him.

All this while all concentration was fixed on harsh and Sanyukta, using this opportunity renuka tried to get away from the corner without being noticed.

"Arree arree aap kaha chali? Abhi toh aapke saath ka poora program baaki hai, bich mei kaha ja rhi hai aap?" Came Kanika from behind and held her hands tightly, twisting it.

Renuka tried to push her and get away but her hold was firm.

"Lagta hai yeh aise nhi maanengi, aryan inko na zara ekdum pyaar se waha baandh do jab tak police nhi aajati." She dragged her towards a wooden chair and with help of aryan tied her up with some cleaning rags.

Meanwhile harsh calmed his nerves by closing his eyes for a moment, it was too much for him to take in just one hour. Randhir eyed all the extra people who were till now literally enjoying the family drama, all dispersed in the spec of time and in seconds only harsh, four of them and a tied up renuka were left in that room.

Sanyukta stood in front of harsh to tell her story. She looked at randhir for a moment, he gave her an assuring look. She took a deep breathe and started from the day randhir had told her about his mother.

"Pitaji, hume randhir ne maa ke baare mei bataya tha, yeh bhi bataya tha ki yeh renuka aur iska rehan kitna bura vyavhaar karte the inke saath. Hume pehle se hi uss rehan pe shaq tha toh humne uspe nazar rakhwayi apne logo se, unhone hi hume woh drugs wala video bheja jo humne aapko bheja." She started off with the first truth.

"Woh aapne bheja tha?" Harsh asked surprised.

"Haan, humne aapko tab nhi bataya kyuki hume pata tha ki yeh renuka bhi kuch seedhi nhi hai. Humne isko raat ko follow kiya toh pata chala ki yeh Roz raat sabke sone ke baad uss rehan ko uske drugs deti thi aur usse khula chhod deti thi." She informed glaring renuka as sanaya's incident was still fresh in her mind.

"Phir kya hua?"

"Phir..." She remembered  the day of rehan's arrest.

"Yaad hai uss din iss renuka ne hum sab ko bahar jaane ko bola tha, tab hum wahi ruk gye the khidki ke paas. Tabhi humne iski yeh sab baate suni aur record kar li. Hume samajh hi nhi aaya hum kya kare, agar aapke paas aate aur aap humpe vishwas nhi karte toh? Toh humne aapko batane se pehle ispe aur khoj-been karna sahi samjha." She completed her side of story.

"Toh tum ho humari har musibat ki jad, par hume toh ek aadmi ne call kiya tha." Renuka quipped in between.

"Ab tum kya karogi jaanke yeh sab." Sanyukta rolled her eyes.

"Nhi batao hume." She said angrily.

"Chalo tum bhi kya yaad rakhogi, woh kya hai naa hum tumhare jitne dumb nhi hai, tumhe sahi mei lagta hai ki hum tumhe khud phone karenge taaki tum woh saboot mita pao? Woh toh humara ek aadmi tha." Sanyukta smirked victoriously.

"Randhir aapko bhi pata tha naa sab?" Harsh confirmed as now he could join some dots while some were still a mystery.

"Ji pitaji." He looked at his father for a moment before looking at Sanyukta. She remembered the incidents that took place in last 3 weeks.

FLASHBACK

Sanyukta wasn't sure how to talk to everyone about this truth. She wanted to tell it to randhir first so that he could control himself at the time when needed.

But don't know why, he was just not talking to her, he ignored her every time she tried to tell him everything. Finally after 2 weeks of suffering and bearing everything he came and apologized to her for his behavior.

She knew something was bothering him but right now her matter was more important. Before she could tell him the truth aryan and Kanika gatecrashed their room. She let it go for the time being.

As soon as they both left she held his hand and settled themselves comfortably on the bed.

"Randhir hume aapko kuch bhot important batana hai please dhyan se suniyega aur apne gusse pe kaabu rakhiyega." She started.

"Aisi kya baat hai Sanyukta? Bataiye naa." He asked.

In response she hesitantly took out her phone and showed him the video. He took the phone in his hand as soon as he heard his mother's name. His hands were trembling.

Tears rolled down his eyes looking at the witch who was talking about killing his mom ever so casually. He couldn't believe he has been living under the same roof with his mother's murderer for all these years.

As soon as the video came to an end he threw the phone harshly on the floor, breaking it into several pieces. He got up and started heading out.

Sanyukta held his hand and said "nhi randhir abhi nhi."

"Nhi Sanyukta, aaj hum usse jaan se maar denge." He freed himself.

Sanyukta ran to the door and blocked his way.

"Nhi randhir, maut uske liye bhot chhoti saza hai, hum toh usko aisi zindagi dena chahte hai jo maut se bhi battar ho." She spoke with utter hatred in her eyes.

Randhir stared at her face for a moment and sat down there itself with a thud. He kept a hand on his head and started crying uncontrollably.

Sanyukta knew this was about to come and she had prepared herself but seeing him like this, again, broke her to the greatest extent but she had to be strong, for him.

She sat down in front of him and pulled his head on her lap. Without any words she just embraced him and let him wet her top. He was comfortable showing his vulnerable side to her and just let it all out.

She tried to soothe him by continuously caressing his head and rubbing his back. Her eyes were flowing too, she was crying, not for his mother but for him. He was a pure soul but unfortunately surrounded with so much negativity.

"Shh... Randhir please sambhaliye apne aap ko, aapko aise nhi dekh pa rhe hai hum, hum wada karte hai aapko ki aapki gunhagaar ko saza de kar rahenge." She spoke after giving him enough time.

Randhir raised his head at once and vigorously wiped his drenched face.

"Nhi Sanyukta, woh humari doshi hai, toh usko saza bhi hum hi denge, apni maa ko insaaf dilwayenge hum." He said determinately.

"Thik hai toh hum aapke saath hai." She smiled a bit.

She held his frame and helped him till the bed. He took his mother's portrait from the wall and hugged it tightly. She made him lay down and sat beside him.

Sanyukta closed his eyes forcefully and caressed his hair as softly as possible. She looked the innocent kid sleeping while hugging his mother's portrait, as if trying to grasp her essence from it.

It didn't take him much time to sleep as he was exhausted due to the excessive crying.

Sanyukta closed her eyes and laid down beside him, keeping her hand on his waist. She kissed his forehead and slept off not before promising him and herself to get him justice.
