Jai's POV
I woke up to the sound of Luna crying. I actually missed her loud cries. I quietly got out of bed and walked over to her crib. I figured she was hungry, so I gently picked her up and carried her downstairs.
Today was the day that Luke and I were leaving. We lied to everyone and they believed it which was perfect. I was going to stay in the program for 6 weeks. They explained that I had to have a counselor for 1 year and have to go to AA meetings.
"What are you doing?" (Y/N) asked as she walked into the kitchen. I grabbed the bottle out of the microwave and turned to see her sitting at the end of the table.
"Luna was hungry."
"Oh well aren't you and Luke going on your trip today? You need to get some rest."
"Yeah, but I'm okay."
"You go on up to bed" I added.
"Alright, but don't run off without telling me goodbye." She said with a smile.
"Don't worry I won't."
She slugged out of her seat and walked up the stairs. When Luna was done with her bottle I put her back in her crib and sneaked into Luke's room.
I nudged his shoulder, but he didn't move a muscle.
"Hey, big bro." I said.
He still didn't move. I figured it was time for me to go for EXTREME measures.
I walked out of Luke's room and into the kitchen. I got a a cup of ice and raced back upstairs to Luke's room.
I gently pulled his underwear back and poured the ice into his boxers.
He jumped up and started to yell.
"You fuckwit!" He screamed as I bent over in laugher.
"Why couldn't you have just shook me?" He asked in an angry tone.
"Because it's not as funny and you know how heavy a sleeper you are." I explained.
"Anyway, we have to leave for our trip." I added.
"Okay. Let me get my stuff and eat something." He said. I nodded and then headed to my room.
(Y/N) was sleeping and I really didn't want to wake her, but I knew she would be mad if I didn't.
She was laying on her back with an arm over her eyes. Her breathe was steady and her hair laid perfectly on her shoulder and on the pillow.
I crept on the bed and gently kissed her on the mouth. It took her a second what it was. She opened her eyes wide and then began to kiss me back. I tried pulling away out she pulled me back down on her shoulder.
"Babe?" I asked after a minute of us in silence.
"I'm going to miss you so much." She said. I could hear the tears through her voice.
"I'll be back before you know it." I said as I leaned up and wiped away a tear that had escaped her eye.
"I love you." She said, softly.
"I love you too." I said with a smile.
"And I love youuu" I said in a baby voice as I walked over to Luna's crib.
I tickled her belly with one of my fingers. She smiled so big that it showed her whole mouth.
"I got to go." I said in a low voice.
"I'll call you." She said before I walked down the stairs with my suitcase in my hand.
I looked around for Luke, but figured he was already in the car. I walked out and just as I thought he was sitting there eating a banana.
"You ready?" He said as I shut my door.
"Yeah." I said.
