Jai's POV
"Jai, what the hell did you say?" Luke yelled.
"Stop yelling I have a headache." I replied as I started walking up the stairs.
"Your fiancée just walked out the door with your baby and you act like you don't give a shit!" I paused on the 5th step.
"They'll be back." I said with my back still to Luke.
"And if they aren't?"
"They will." I said before I walked up the rest of the stairs.
I could tell Luke was pissed, but I couldn't help it. I knew they'd be back.
I walked into my room and sat on the edge of the bed. I looked up to see my reflection in the mirror on the wall. I stood and walked over to it.
My eyes were dark and sunken in. You could tell I hadn't eaten in days. I was skinnier. I looked as if I was nothing but bone and skin.
I was tired of looking at myself. I shook my head in disgust as I looked away. I needed to tell someone. I needed help.
I walked over to my bed side table and pulled out a bible.
I opened it up to the cut out square that was on Philippians 4:9. Kinda ironic I know.
I opened up the bag that was lying there and pulled out a pill.
I laid it on the table and crushed it into tiny pieces. Then leaned over with one finger holding down my left nostril and snorted the pill. I tilted my head back and wiped the dust off my nose.
"What the hell?" I heard someone say behind me.
I turned to see Luke standing in awe.
"Did you just?" He asked.
"You can't tell anyone." I said as I stood up.
"That's why you're acting weird."
"I'm not acting weird."
"You ran your girl and your baby out of the house and acted like it was nothing."
"I can't help that she's over reacting."
"She's not over reacting."
"That's why you look so bad too. Oh God what's momma gonna say?" He added.
"She isn't going to say anything because you're not going to tell her."
"Jai, you have to stop."
"No, I don't."
"What if you OD?"
"Then they can pump my stomach."
"Do you want (Y/N) and Luna to go through that. What if you don't make it and mom has to bury her son like you did? You need to stop."
"I can't, Luke. I can't."
"Yes, you can. I can go to AA meetings with you and one of those 12 step programs. We'll say that it's an early bachelor party. Alright?" He asked as he sat beside me.
"Don't say anything to anyone."
"I won't."
Okay y'all it's out. Tell me if you liked it and I'll update soon. I'm actually off for spring break, so I was thinking that I'd start an "All about me" thing. Y'all can ask me questions and stuff.
