"Jai! Get out of bed!" I yelled. He had been in bed for the past 3 days.
"Jai!" I repeated but he didn't move.
"Don't you want to see Luna? You haven't eaten in days plus I can't do all this wedding stuff by myself. We're worried." I said calmer than before. I stood over him with my hands crossed over my chest.
"Fuck off!" He yelled.
"Excuse me?" I asked with a shocked face.
"Get the fuck out!" He yelled.
"Fine, I'll leave." I said. I grabbed a bag and threw so,e clothes in it. Then I got Luna's diaper bag.
"What are you doing?" He asked in a hateful voice.
"I'm leaving." I said before I walked out. I raced down the stairs and into the kitchen where Luke was feeding Luna. I picked Luna up and headed out the door. Luke followed me.
"Hey, where are you going?" Luke asked while I was putting Luna in her car seat.
"I'm leaving." I said.
"Why?"
"Ask your brother." I said as I got into the driver seat of Beau's car. Luke stood there with a confused look. I shut the door and started the engine. I looked up at the door and saw Jai standing on the porch with nothing but his boxers. His face showed no expression as he watched me pull out of the driveway.
I wiped a tear from my face as I pulled into Daniel's house. I got out and went around the other side of the car and got Luna out of her car seat. I made my way up the porch steps and knocked on his door.
"Why are you here?" Daniel said as he opened the door.
"Jai and I got into an argument."
"Oh well come on in." He said, moving out from the door so I could walk into his house.
"It's um nicer than before." I said, laughing at my sarcastic remark. There was trash everywhere and it look as if the dishes hadn't been washed in months.
"You don't have many people over do you?" I asked.
"Beau usually cleaned." He said as I sat on the couch.
"So do you wanna talk about Jai?" He asked.
"Not really, but thanks." I said as I sat beside him.
"I'll clean after I put Luna down for her nap. Okay?" I asked.
"Whatever tickles your peach." He said, looking at Luna.
"Would you like to hold her?" I asked.
"I don't know. I'm not that great with babies." He said with a nervous voice.
"Oh come on. She's not just any other baby. She's your niece."
I said as I handed him Luna.
"Wow, she's so beautiful." He said while staring into her eyes.
"She has your nose and Jai's mouth."
"Good, that means she'll have his smile." I said.
"I thought you were mad at him." He said while looking up at me.
"I am, but he has a nice smile." I said.
"That's true." He said as he looked back at Luna.
Sorry that I haven't updated I haven't been feeling well. And you're about to find out something big about Jai in the story so be ready for that.
