Jai's POV

Y/N and momma had been working really hard on our wedding. They eat, slept, breathed wedding. And to tell you the truth it's getting annoying.

Luke, Beau and I had already picked out or suits, but Y/N was taking forever to pick out a dress.

"It has to be perfect. You wouldn't understand." She always sighed and then leave the room. I really didn't get it, but whatever makes her happy.

Today was the day I was looking forward to though. We're meeting up with her parents at 6 for dinner. I could tell she wasn't excited, but I knew it would be good for her.

"What are we even supposed to wear?" She asked as she put Luna in her crib for a nap.
"I'm wearing what I always wear, black." I got up and hugged her waist.
"I think I will too." She swayed us back and forth.

6 o'clock finally rolled around and I was waiting on Y/N to give Luna to Luke.
"Mommy will be home soon okay?" She said as she handed her over to Luke. Luna held out her arms for Y/N to take her back.
Y/N shook her head as she walked over to me at the door.
"Let's go." She murmured before walking out the door.

"If you have any problems call. Okay?" I looked at Luke and he nodded. I walked out the door and out to the car where Y/N was already  in the passenger seat.

Time skip

The waiter put the food down in front of us and asked if we needed anything else.
"No, thank you." I said and she walked away.

Y/N and I were sitting beside each other and her parents were opposite of us.

Y/N picked at her food and hardly even looked up. I grabbed her hand that was on her knee and rubbed her thumb with mine. I saw her shoulders relax and she took a deep breath in and out.

"So this wedding-" Her father began. "Where is it going to be?" He took a bite of his roll.
"Our house, in the back yard." I explained with a smile.
"Oh." Her mother said as she tried to pick up a green bean.
"Oh?" Y/N asked in a upset tone.
Her mother looked up at her and said, "Its just everyone in our family has had their wedding in a church."
"I'm not like most of our family." Y/N replied.
"Clearly." Her mother said under her breathe. I was hoping Y/N didn't hear her, but, of course, she did.

Y/N took another deep breath and pulled her hand away from mine.
"I didn't go around asking people to get me pregnant. I didn't plan this it just happened. Luna is the greatest thing that has happened to me and if you can't accept that I'm trying to be a good mom and trying to please you two then you can leave." She said more calmly then I expected.

"We know you're trying." Her father said.
"Do you?" She looked at her mother that was looking down at her plate. She nodded her head.

"Do you want us there?" Her father asked. I looked over at Y/N who was staring blankly at her mother.
"Would you like to come?" She asked. I couldn't believe that she was actually considering it.
"Yes, we would love to." Her father quickly answered.
"Can I-" Her father started to say, but Y/N interrupted him.
"I already asked Gina of she could walk me down the aisle and she agreed." Her fathers eyes saddened.
"Well that's alright." He looked down at the table.

"It's getting kind of late. Maybe we should head back home." I said as I stood up and grabbed the check from the table.
"No, no. Let us pay." Her father stood up.
"I've got it really."
"Yes, but you have a wedding to pay for." He smiled at me and took the check from my hand.
"Thank you." I shook his hand.
"No, thank you." I let go of his hand and wrapped my arm around Y/N's waist. She had already put her coat on and was picking at her nails.

"We'll see you on Saturday." I waved at them before we walked out to the car.
