Jai's POV
I got up a little earlier than usual, so I knew no one was awake when I got up. I changed and crept down the stairs as quietly as I could. To be honest it wasn't even that early, it was 10 o'clock, but no one is ever up at that time not even Luna.
I got in Beau's car and began to drive down the rode. I turned on the street that (Y/N) had first instructed me to turn on when we went to tell her parent she was having my baby. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was so scared, but I didn't want her knowing that.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I pulled into her parents driveway. I got out of the car and slowly approached the door. I knocked on it with confidence. I wanted them to know I meant business.
"I don't want anything." Her father opened the door expecting it to do some sales person.
"Oh, I'm sorry. What are you doing here? Is (Y/N) okay?" He asked in a worried tone.
"She's fine. I just needed to talk to you and your wife for a minute if that's okay." I said.
"Of course come on in." He replied. He moved over so I could walk in the door. He shut it behind me.
"Go ahead and sit. Do you want something to drink?" He asked.
"I'm fine, thank you." I replied in a kind voice.
"Well I'll go get her." He said.
A few minutes later he came back with (Y/N)'s mom. Her mouth was opened as if she had something to say, but no words would come out.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"I wanted to talk." I said.
"Okay then talk." She said as she sat down. Mr. (Last Name) stood beside were she sat. Their faces serious.
"I've asked (Y/N) to marry me and I want you guys to be at the wedding." I said.
"Wait I thought she didn't consider us her parents anymore."
"The way I look at it is she'll get it over it after a couple of years and she'll regret her father giving her away at her wedding and her mother and not helping her fit into her dress. All I need from you is to say yes, I'll convince her." I explained.
"She will never agree." She said.
"She will. Just trust me." I said.
"We'll do it." He said.
"We haven't even talked about this yet." She said, almost yelling.
"We don't have to. You think about it. If you missed your only daughters wedding how much would you regret it?" He said.
"She isn't my daughter any more." She said and walked out of the room. I heard the door slam shut down the hall.
"Don't worry, son. I'll convince her." He said with a slight smile.
"Good luck" I said as I walked out the door.
"And to you." He said before shutting the door.
