Millard POV

Y/n had been invited to a Halloween party and didn't want to go alone so I asked if I could go. We dressed up as vampires and were having fun for the first half of the party.

Y/n decided to go and find something something for us to drink that wasn't alcoholic, she was gone for about 5 minutes before I started looking for her. When I found her she was talking to Jacob in the kitchen. She was laughing and he was really close to her.

"What are you looking at buddy?" Enoch yelled over the music as he slung his arm around my shoulder. He smelled like a bar.

"Your drunk" I stated as I tried to pull away

"And your jealous" I stared at him, I was not jealous, I mean what was there to be jealous of? Jacob? That pompous prick? "Dude just tell him to back off your girl, and if that doesn't work show him how much she love you" he said still yelling in my ear

"That's actually not bad, thanks"

"Anytime, now if you'll excuse me I have a date to attend to" he walked off to find his girlfriend and I started walking to the kitchen.

"Millard, Jacob was just telling me this really funny story when you-" y/n started to tell me but Jacob intervened

"Well it's not that funny, but y/n I wanted to ask you a question would you like to go and dance?" Jacob asked nervously, i thought I was going to explode to be honest.

"Well I woul-" I started kissing y/n's cheek and she started to giggle "mill what are you doing" she laughed trying to get a look at my face. She turned around and hugged me.

I looked over at jacob and stared at him while quietly growling at him, I think he got the picture and decided that he valued life.

When he left y/n pulled out of the hug

"You know jealousy is a ver good look on you" she laughed and I looked down in embarrassment, she pulled my chin up and kissed me.

"Were you really gonna dance with him?" I asked a little sad

"Of course not, You'd miss me too much" we both laughed at that.
