Y/n L/n showed up at Miss Peregrines almost 3 months ago and it's been a nightmare. 

Y/n's peculiarly is that she jinxs people, she doesn't know how to control it. At first it was little things like a door closing in your face after opening it and windows being left open on cold nights, but as the weeks progressed it started to get worse.

Once she said 'don't fall' jokingly and Emma tripped making everyone fall like dominos, after that she decided to not talk, then she stopped joining in on games, then she just stoped coming out of her room.

They were all really worried about her but at the same time thankful that their day wouldn't be ruined.

After a month of this Miss peregrine decided that she had to intervene or things would get much worse.

"Enoch could you come here for a minute please" Miss peregrine called from her study to the boy that was walking by, he stoped in his tracks pushing the door open with his foot, his hands taken by jars.

"What do you need Miss?" He asked wanting to quickly return to his room.

"You and Miss L/n were friends were you not?" She inquired not looking up from the papers she was scribbling on.

"I wouldn't say that, we talked every now and then" Enoch leaned against the door frame, sighing because he knew what was going to come next.

"I think it would be best if you talked to her, I think she would enjoy some company" Miss peregrine said looking at Enoch.

Enoch sighed but nodded, he knew he'd get nowhere with arguing with her, and he wanted to escape as quickly as possible.

He headed back to his room and put down the jars in their designated places, then made his was to Y/ns room, it was only a few rooms from his.

He approached the door and knocked on it, a faint 'come in' being called. Enoch opened the door and saw Y/n on the floor next to her window, he slowly approached her, her head was in her knees. Enoch sat next to her slowly.

"You alright" he asked almost unsure if he should say anything.

"What do you think? I hurt everything around me because of this stupid god dame power that I can't even control" Y/n raised her voice tears threatening to come out.

"Don't let That get you down, i mean I've been in here for like 5 minutes and nothing bass happened" Enoch said it so sure that Y/n almost believed him.

"Your shirt button broke off when you walked in and you shoe lace untied it's self"

Enoch looked down his lace was on the floor, completely seperate from his shoe and one of his sweater buttons were at the door.

"Minor things"

"Please can you just... go. I don't wasn't you to get hurt or more unconvinced" her head was in her knees

"I'm not leaving Y/n, even if my hand stops working I'm not going to leave you to suffer by yourself. Believe me I'm better than nothing"

"Fine it's you bad luck"

Enoch smiled, this was going to be interesting.
