A/N - Hi sorry I know I said I would be updating but then I went back to school and when I started to write again I went through a break up so you know my writing will get angsty, lol. Please comment more requests, I love preferences and their so easy to write and accomplish in a nice way but request anything!! And Thank you to @Softie-Martell for requesting this preference.

(Some of these they find you + aftermath reaction and some of these are just aftermath reactions)

Jacob: Jacob would not know what to do, he would just stand there watching to see if you would move, even just a little bit, he would stand there frozen while everyone around him screams and panics. Jacob wouldn't accept that you were dead at first. Once he did accept it he just carried on with the current mission/plan, he'd need to finish this before he could grieve you. Once he did he'd have a breakdown and work through his pain while everyone.

Millard: He'd disappear from the house for a few days...maybe a few weeks. He'd completely isolate himself from everyone else, he'd be completely devastated to having lost you, his love, the only person who truely saw him for who he was. He probably would throw himself into his writing and would most likely write an entire novel about you. When he finished what he needed to write and do to cope with this he would rejoin the household and finish grieving with the rest of the house.

Horace: Horace, like Millard, would just throw himself into his work, he'd make countless items of clothing that would tend to be dresses/shirts and he would work non stop. He would work even if his fingers were bleeding because he thinks he deserves this pain, after all he couldn't prevent your death. It would absolutely kill him inside that he could protect you.
After a few weeks he would stop and have a proper sleep and start going to dinner again, only after Miss peregrine came and talked to him and let him have a good cry.

Hugh: your death doesn't really hit him at first, he's sad but also contempt. When it does hit him he would run, run as far away as he can from the house as he can physically manage, he wouldn't stop running until he collapsed and when he did he would just cry and cry until he couldn't anymore. He'd make his way back to the house and to find Fiona and cry again. He'd be okay eventually but never the same.

Enoch: If Enoch found you he would get on the floor and cradle you, begging you to stop pretending and to come back. after that, however, he distances himself from the family, hiding away and trying to deal with this the only way he knows how, by working on his clay creatures and lashing out.
Overall he would not deal with your death at all in the beginning, maybe after a while he would try to come to terms with it but he would never truely be okay.
