CHAPTER I; THE NIGHT SKY

Pan stared out at the dark skies of the rural area; he wasn't even sure where he was, the stars were blinking as he imagined them wondering where he was taking off too. He always loved the darkness in the rural area because the stars were the brightest for miles. Pannose dived as he caught the sight of a little boy sitting in the closed window, his hands folded in front of him while his eyes were closed tightly.

He hid in the shadows, just beside the window; waiting for the young light headed boy to make a wish that someone would take him away or for him to do something extraordinary. The small blonde fairy floated next to him, pulling at his hair, her voice singing through the sky like bells.

"Come on, Tink," Pan chuckled, swatting at Tinkerbell's small hands from his hair, his eyes still on the small boy. Hearing the bedroom door open; Pan tilted his head to the right as the little boy ran into the arms of a young woman with a wide grin.

"Momma!" He laughed, Pan watched carefully as the woman's lips parted slightly with a soft laugh. Pan began to tap his fingers against the siding of the house. I'm running out of time.

"Wade, I thought I told you to get ready for bed before I came in here," the little boy; Wade took a step back, looking down at his feet with his hands connected behind his back.

"I know, Momma, but I wanted to say goodnight to the moon," the mother laughed once more; as she gently guided Wade across the room and they both disappeared, Pan sighed out of boredom as he crossed his legs; floating in the air. I need that little boy to sacrif - I mean to become a lost boy. Pan thought as he peeked into Wade's bedroom once more since the little boy had come back dressed in his night clothing. As Pan watched this boy and his mother longer than usual; everything seemed to become colorless.

Boring. Bored. Boring. He sang to himself over and over again, even his thoughts were sneering. Pan could sense the anger radiating off of Tinkerbell; he turned his head to the side, watching the little fairy stand up and shake her fist at him, angry bells sounding off. He ignored his little friend as he watched the ground the grass seemed to shine in the moonlight.

Pan tilted his head to the right, listening carefully; the angry bells the loudest thing towards him; he grabbed Tinker Bell by her body and covering her mouth with one of his fingers. Pan gave his fairy a mischievous grin before kicking off of the siding of the house, taking off at a quick study pace. Tinkerbell was at his side, the angry bells now turning into soft ones as if she was giggling.

The laughter was loud and happy, laughter that Pan has never heard; it must've been a few miles away from the little boys house because all the of the houses that he passed seemed empty or didn't have any sounds resonate within them.

"Tink, I think we have our next lost boy," Pan grinned to himself, his thoughts were all over the place as he peeked into the large bay window to see three children jumping around and laughing; the bay window was slightly ajar as he listened to the oldest; a girl tell the two youngest stories.

Pan watched as the two little boys laugh with delight, jumping on top of the girl enveloping her with their arms. She laughed, as she fell backwards; the girl began to kiss them, eventually they rolled off of her, whipping their face off with mock disgust on their face.

"Gross, Reneaaaa!" the youngest boy whined as he pulled at his face, she laughed; standing up with her eyebrow raised. Renea lifted him up, laying him on the smallest bed. He held tightly onto her neck, refusing to lay back. Renea was beautiful, even to Pan.

She sighed, prying his fingers from her neck, he whinned as he laid back, "Come on, Huntington. You know mother and father will be upset if your still up when they come home."

"I'm not even sleepy, Ren." Huntington moaned as he rubbed his eyes, Renea laughed as she tucked the blankets around him, the boy held dark hair with bright green eyes, she rolled her eyes, a swift whistle coming from her mouth, as a medium sized dog came running into the room. Huntington's eyes widen with delight as he patted the spot next to him in his bed.

"Up, Anna! Up!" Huntington told the dog as she jumped onto the bed, he turned around and curled into his pet.

Renea leaned over, pushing Huntington's hair out of his eyes; kissing his forward before turning towards the other boy with a smile, he gave her a quick smile before running towards her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Please, don't ever stop telling us your stories, Ren. It's the best part of our day."

She was quiet for a few minutes before, she answered, "Don't worry, Felix. I won't."

Felix pulled away with a grin, his dark brown hair growing past his ears and his light green eyes sparkled as he climbed into bed. "Good,"

Pan's grin seemed to widen as he watched to girl some more, she was perfect for the Lost Boys; good hearted, kind, a dreamer and caring. Renea leaned down, pulling the covers up to Felix's chin, she leaned down and kissed his cheek. She made her way over to the bay window, Pan quickly flew to the roof though not far enough where he couldn't see her at the window, nor hear her, Renea leaned out of the window, looking both right and left and down below before looking up at the stars.

After a few minutes, Renea pulled herself back into the bedroom; shutting the bay window and locking it. Pan flew back, where he could watch Renea as she wished the boys a goodnight, and shut off the lights.
