Um. I'm sick this might suck lol

"Psst."

You hear someone whisper. You look around, confused.

"In here." You glance in the dining room- nobody really uses it, so it's more for clutter and secret house meetings now. Shrignold pulls you in.

You glance around and spot Harry, Robin, and Colin, alongside Shrignold.

"Secret house meeting?" You ask quietly.

"Yes. I gathered up the smart ones and Shrignold." Robin says. "And we're going to discuss Paige and Tony, and why they're engaged after 3 months together."

You sit down on an empty seat, and nod.

"I'd like to start off by saying Y/N is clearly directly involved in all of this." Shrignold says. "I know things and I think Tony might too."

You look at him. "Did you tell Tony?"

He shakes his head. "No, dear, I wouldn't. That's your business. But I think we should hear your opinions first."

You nod. "Right, well, maybe it goes without saying that I... I have feelings for Paige." Nobody looks surprised so you continue talking. "And obviously, I don't want to step on anyone's toes. Tony is with her now, and... I could respect that if he wasn't such a little dick."

Everyone nods and murmurs in agreement.

"And the worst part is that I can barely have a moment alone with Paige. If I'm with her, he is. Like, I just want 5 minutes with my best friend. He's sucked the life out of her like some kind of vampire." You sigh. "I think he did this to claim his property. Except she isn't his. I don't know, I get a bad feeling from it all... I think he's really controlling."

"Definitely." Harry says.

"So what are we gonna do about it?" You ask.

"What can we do?" Colin sighs. "She said yes. That's it now."

"She was drunk!"

"She hadn't gone back on her word. Now she's sober, she has the chance to say no. Did it ever occur t0 you maybe she wants to marry him? Just to play devil's advocate." Robin says.

You frown. "I just..."

"Y/N, I agree with you that he's toxic and controlling. And I know I don't like Paige but that doesn't mean I want bad things to happen to her past minor grievances. But there's nothing we can do, until she comes to terms with the fact that she won't be happy." He says. You just nod, knowing he's correct. "Secret family meet up disbanded."

Everyone leaves. Harry gives your shoulder a gentle squeeze after the two of you linger.

"Hey. It'll be alright, I'm sure. She'll come to her senses."

You nod, and go to your room to cry.
