This is a bonus chapter! You and Sonic on your first date together and I might do the sequel my way just a heads up. I'll see if I get to do it or not.

Third Person

It's been a month since Dr. Robotnik was sent into another portal and was never heard from again. You and Sonic have been spending time together with your family even though Tom would act playful and serious at the same time if Sonic gets a little too close to you. 

At the end of the day, you had to stay after school because you are in an art club. Sonic had to run home alone and this was the perfect time to ask Tom about planning a special first date for just the two of you.

"Hey Sonic," Tom greeted.

"Hey, Tom. Um, can we talk for a minute?" Sonic asked.

"Sure, what is it, buddy?" He asked.

Sonic sighs and said, "I need your help to pick out the best place to take Y/N out on a date." 

This made Tom chuckled, "It's about time. Of course, I will help set up a date with my sister."

"Really? Thanks!" 

"I think I might know where you should take her out tonight. We're not going back to the bar though, but it's someplace more decent and she hasn't been there since...well..when I first found her." He smiled.

"I will insist on taking her there. Just tell me and I'll take her there." Sonic said as he folds his arms over his chest with a smirk.

"Alright. You can take her there when she gets home." Tom said.

~Time Skip~

Your Pov

I arrived at the home around the afternoon being picked up by Maddie as I enter inside to see Sonic standing in the doorway smiling.

"Hello Y/N, how was your day at the art club?" He asked.

"It was fine. We did all sorts of drawings in there and it seemed fun." I shrugged.

"Good. I, uh, came to ask you something important." He bit the bottom of his lip sheepishly.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Um, I was wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me?" He asked.

I smiled and said, "Yes."

"Oh, I under-what? Really? You'll go out with me?" He asked.

"Sure. When or what time do you want to start the date?" I asked.

"Hmm... we can do it tonight since it is a special night for us." He smiled.

"I just need to finish my homework. Have you done yours?"I asked.

Sonic stared off the other direction and whistled with his hands behind the back. I sighed and said, "I'll help you with yours too. That way we can be done with it so we get ready for our date." 

~TimeSkip~

After Sonic and I were done with our homework I had to change my clothes so we can get our night going. 

My outfit:

"Y/N, you gonna need a jacket too," Sonic said.

I went over to my closet to get out a blue hoodie to put it on and walked over to Sonic standing in the doorway. We walked downstairs as Tom and Maddie smiled at us.

"You guys are so adorable," Maddie said.

"Stop it, you guys." Sonic and I said blushing.

"You both have a safe night and I expect you guys home," Tom said.

"We will Tom." Sonic smiled.

"Do you need me to-" Tom was cut off by Sonic again.

"Nope. Super speed, remember?" Sonic grinned.

"Right..." 

"Bye Maddie! Bye Tom!" I waved.

We exited out of the house as Sonic picked me up bridal style to carry me to where our date will be. Once we arrived there it was someplace I never thought I would be able to see again. It was an ice rink!

"Sonic..." I 'awed'.

"I asked your brother what place I should take you and he came up with a suggestion to bring you to an ice rink. You two skated together all the time and he told me you're a professional at ice skating." Sonic explained.

I was so happy that I picked up the blue hedgehog and hugged him so happily, "Your the best!" 

"It's what I do." He nuzzled into my neck as I set him back down. "C'mon! Let's go inside and have some fun tonight." 

I nodded as we enter the building to purchase our skates and head into the rink. I put on my skates and Sonic waited for me patiently and he said, "I don't know how to skate." 

I smiled a little, "I'll teach you. It's easy."

When I got my skates on, we walked onto the rink as Sonic held his hand tightly in mine. I showed him how to push himself forward and glide onto the ice as if he's Elsa. He felled a couple of times and then he got used to it and started ice skating at his normal speed. Sonic and I skated around holding hands, he even spun me around, he occasionally learned how to do the moonwalk too. 

"This is the best night ever!" I smiled widely.

Sonic stared at me loving in the eyes and I got down my knees and kissed him. He broke the kiss as he held out a sunflower in his hands and placed it in my hair on the right side.

"I told you that your my sunflower glowing with that beautiful smile." He winked.

"Oh, Sonic..." I hugged him as he returned it.

We grew tired of skating and went to the cafe to grab something to chow down while we were here. I order us some hot chocolate and 5 chili dogs for Sonic and I ordered myself burger and fries. While chatting along I noticed someone familiar hiding behind a menu with someone else wearing shade glasses holding up a menu too. 

"Pst, Sonic?" I whispered.

"Huh?" He asked.

I pointed over to a couple hiding behind the menus as Sonic looked at me with a grimace look. He ate his late chili dog letting out a cute burp and zoomed over to them.

"Excuse me, what brings you two lovely beings to the cafe?" He asked.

"Sonic, go back with your date," Tom muttered.

I walked over to Tom and Maddie placing the menus down and frowned, "Were you spying on us?"

"What? No! Y/N we weren't-" He stopped when he saw my face and sighed. "Fine...we were spying on you." 

"I knew it!" I huffed.

"Calm down Y/N. Tom nothing bad happened here and we were just having a good time. Why are you anyway?" Sonic asked.

"...Sonic, there something I should tell you about what happened to Y/N here years ago. But right now, I don't want to ruin it-"

"You already have."You mumbled.

"Anyway, Y/N you go back with your date. We'll just stay out of the way since we already ordered our meal." Tom said as Maddie shooed us away and we went back to our seats.

"What was that all about?" Sonic asked.

"I don't know. Whatever Tom said to you about is nothing you should be worried about." 

"What did happened?" He asked.

"....When I was young hanging around with Tom at the skating rink. He sort of got me hurt by pushing me too far off and I sort of crashed on the ice. He regretted it so much that he vowed to never let me be put in danger ever since." You explained.

"He's your brother Y/N, he's only looking after you." 

"I know. It's just so...irritating sometimes." 

"Not as irritating when we were trying to get away from Dr. Robotnik on that incredible adventure we had." He grinned.

"That too." 

"Say, we can let Tom and Maddie hang out with us as fourth wheels." He insisted.

"It's been years since we have skated together. Let's do it!" 

"Yo Tom! Wanna join us in the ice rink?" Sonic asked.

"Really? You want us to join in on your date?" He asked.

"Sure," I said.

We all got on our skates to get into the rink and skated together like a big happy family. I guess my date night wasn't ruined even though family matters to me. I wonder what my adventure will lead with Sonic around?
