Your Pov

That was the most epic night of my life that I had in forever. Tom drove us to a hotel to stay for the night, I was in the bathroom taking a brisk shower and change into more comfortable clothes that I put in his truck just in case for emergencies. For now, you are wearing a t-shirt over your hoodie to keep you warm and comfortable pants too.

Tomorrow's outfit choice: You choose!

"I can't tell for sure. I think they like me!" Sonic beamed.

"Yea, sure," I said sitting on the other side near the window brushing my hair.

"The floors were sticky, the crowd was rough, and the odds were against us. But there was no stopping Donut Lord, Kitty, and the Blue Blur." Sonic said as he zoomed over to the nightstand where his bucket list was placed. "Scratch another one off my list." 

"You are a weird little dude." Tom grinned.

Tom handed Sonic a cloth with ice after the fight tonight and Sonic kept copying his aches of the painful side of the cheek. 

"So what are we going to do now?" Sonic asked energetically. 

"I'm gonna pass out watching tv," Tom said.

"What about you Y/N?" Sonic asked.

"....Nothing. My phone died and it's charging so, I guess I'll just gaze at the stars." I responded turning back around to look out the window with the glowing moonlight and stars that shined through the curtains into the room.

Sonic groaned, "But this is my last night on earth. I want to soak up every last second." 

"Alright. Well, anything you can find to do in this room, you knock yourself out." Tom said.

I glanced behind me to see the fast hedgehog zooming around the room doing EVERY last thing in this room and he even took a shower thankfully. He smelt like fish after falling into the pacific ocean.

"Good times," Sonic said wearing a towel head to toe and then he farted.

"Ew, gross~" I covered my nose and so did Tom.

"Ugh, that's awful. What did you eat?" Tom asked pinching the bridge of his nose to keep the smell away from his nostrils.

Sonic looked at me apologetically and said, "Sorry. I think it's called a...chili dog?"

"Well, you gonna have to check your fur under that one buddy," Tom said.

~Time Skip~

Sonic and I were the only ones still awake while my brother was passed out on his side of the bed snoring so loudly. 

"What's this next planet that you're supposed to go to?" I asked.

"It's not like the earth I can tell you that. There are no people just breathable air of giant mushrooms and stuff." Sonic replied in a sad tone.

"Well, look at this way. At least your not only fun guy." I winked at him playfully.

"No. Don't ever do that again." He said nudging me gently on the side as I giggled softly. "I'm really gonna miss this place. I know I have to leave earth to be safe, but what if LongClaw was wrong?"

"Who's Longclaw?" I asked.

"She was like a mother to me and kept a close eye on any dangerous predator that tries to steal my power. She gave me the rings and told me to 'Never stop running' and I kept her word." He explained.

I pat him on the back and touched his soft blue quills and said, "She must've been a good mother to you." 

"Yeah, she was." He croaked.

"Maybe I could have a life here." He said.

"I wish my life wasn't so rough these days to be bothered by a bunch of bullies." I sighed.

"I know. Life isn't so easy or perfect if you ask me." He agreed.

"Sometimes I wish I could run away to get away from everything that is in my way to be free from that chain. Whenever I paint it's like I'm in another world of experience and color patterns." I pulled my legs close to my chest and buried my face as Sonic patted my back gently.

"If you want I can take you away from that place. If you want to run away with me." He grinned.

I lift up my head and said, "It's not so easy. How am I going to support myself alone even when I have a birthday coming up."

"Wait? You have a birthday coming up?" He asked cocking his head.

"Yeah, I'll be 15 soon," I replied.

"Cool! We're like a year apart and I'll be 16 soon too." Sonic grins happily.

I checked the time to see it was already 1: 04 AM as I let out a yawned and said, "Alright, I'm tired. We should get some sleep."

I got under the covers as Sonic sat across the end and said, "You sleep don't worry about me. I'm gonna stay up all night and enjoy earth all I can."

"I'm sure you can because we have to be on the road by 8," I said as I felt the covers move on the left side to see Sonic getting under and scooted close to me.

"I-Is it okay if I sleep with you? Just for tonight?" He asked politely.

"...Yes." I said in a sleepy voice.

I slept deeper into the war covers as I felt Sonic's hand gently stroking my head making me fall asleep faster and Sonic was asleep since I can hear his heart THUMPING  so fast in the speed of sound.
