It was a nice evening, the stars were up and there was a beautiful full moon. Sonic, knuckles and tails were playing video games as usual in theire room, when tails lost he went over to the window to pout and to take his losing punishment, sonic and knuckles were still alive in the game so they continued.
Tails then saw a red weird glow in the distance so he opened the window to look at it better, just a few moments later a strong wind came and it hit them hard making knuckles get a shiver and press a wrong button, losing the game.
Knuckles then stood up, stomping on the floor while Sonic was dancing victories. As knuckles looked at the ground he found a red glowing quill, he picked it up to look at it, it must have come in when the wind blew through the window, knuckles then mumbles "what is this?..".
"Hey guys, look. " Tails yelled and both looked up, to look out of the window, theire eyes widen when they see the red glow in the distance, just as they got to the window the glow stopped, and the quill in knuckles hand also stopped glowing.
"Huh?! Hey, the glow is gone!.. just like from the quill, " knuckles said concerning.
"Wait, what?" Sonic was confused and then looked at the quill in knuckles' hands.
Tails looked at them and then said, "What was that?.." He sounded a bit scared of what it could have been.
"I.. don't know. " Knuckles and Sonic said in sync.
Whatever it was.. it must mean it wants harm or is at least dangerous.
The trio didn't know what to do.
Should they go after the glow?
Or should they stay where they're save?
After a while, Sonic spoke up, " Maybe.. we should check it out?..".
Knuckles immediately yelled afterward, " What the hell! No way, that thing is definitely dangerous!".
Sonic and knuckles both looked at each other, debating what they should do, until tails spoke up sounding concerned. "What if it's hurt?..". That gave knuckles and sonics attention, sonic then spoke, confident. "That's right! See, knuckles, it might need our help!".
They finally convinced knuckles to go check it out, he nods and the trio went over to the door, opening and walking in the direction where the glow was before.
Tails was scared a bit, so he held onto sonics hand the entire time, knuckles was walking in the front, wanting to protect them if needed.
They were walking for about 30 minutes with a flashlight, hoping to maybe whatever it was, was friendly.
