Yes, this is based on a Sonic game back in 2006 I believe. I love this song! This story is his world to me and everyone else :D The story is almost over and I am so sad! I enjoyed writing it so much for you all.

Your Pov

"COMING THROUGH!" Sonic shouted. "Sorry! Perfect park!"

He drove around the city in your aunt Rachel's car to park almost perfectly on the sidewalk. I got out the car a little dizzy after all the turnings Sonic had driven on the road I regain my vision and looked over at Maddie and Tom. 

"Why did we let the animal drive?" Maddie asked.

"Hey, I got us here and please 5 stars." Sonic grinned.

He zoomed over to where I was while we stared at the tower where his bag of rings was located.

He asked, "So, this is it?" 

"That's it," I said.

"Wow! Look at that thing!" Sonic 'awed'.

"What happens now?" Maddie asked.

I was about to respond when Sonic sped away from us to go get a closer look at the tower leaving us behind.

"Oh. He's...gone." Maddie said.

"Yeah." Tom nodded.

When Sonic came back he shook his head and said, "No good. You need a special key to get to the roof."

"What now?" Maddie asked.

"Time for me to use the power of trust in me,"  Tom said staring off in the sky as we looked at him confused.

We enter inside of the tower while I carried Sonic in my brother's changing bag he carries around sometimes for emergencies. We had to keep Sonic hidden away or everyone will be freaking out because of this cute little-Did I say cute? Tom was already at the desk where he politely asked the woman to give him a key card so that we will be able to get on the roof.

"You just saved a life." Tom thanked her.

We hurried over to the elevator to wait for it to open when two businesspeople came over to us. I then heard Sonic muffling inside of the bag, "How much longer? I can't breathe in here. Hello? Anybody there? "

The woman asked, "Do you have your child in that bag?"

"No. I mean yes, it's a child, but it's not mine." Tom said as I facepalmed myself. "Relax, I'm a cop, okay?" 

"Stop it, Tom," I mumbled.

"Plus he likes it in there. Don't you buddy?" He asked with a fake smile.

"Why would I like it in here? This is worse than the dog cage you put me in earlier." Sonic shouted.

"Such a kidder." 

"OMG, it's getting dark! Is anybody there?" Sonic exclaimed as I watch the two people leaving us when the elevator opened for us to head inside and up to the very top of the tower.

When we arrived onto the tour I dumped Sonic out of the bag as he gagged, "Ugh, what were you keeping in this bag? A jar of pickle farts?"

"Alright, alright. What are we looking for?" Tom asked.

Sonic raced over to get his bag of rings and held out one for us to see.

"Okay. What happens now?" Maddie asked.

"Now, all I have to do is think of where I want the other end of the ring to appear and I throw it," Sonic explained.

"That's it? We did it?"

"Yeah! We did it." Sonic smiled.

"Hey, sorry we didn't get to do everything off your bucket list, pal." Tom smiled softly at him as Sonic shrugged.

"It's okay. I did one that I needed the most." Sonic smiled at us happily and sadly looked down as my eyes turned purple again trying to hold back tears.

"You three are so cute," Maddie spoke up.

"What? Cute? Us? We are not." We said protesting her from thinking that we were ever cute especially with me and Sonic.

"We are a couple of loose cannons just living by our own rules," Sonic said.

"Exactly," I said.

"And our rules include expressing heartfelt emotions," Sonic said.

"If you say so. Besides the little miss birthday girl is almost here and she needs to find her a boy~" Maddie winked over at you making your cheeks go red and you covered them.

"I-I don't need a boyfriend!" I protested.

"But you and that mysterious boy would be a perfect pair together." She said as I sighed holding the bridges of my nose.

"I..um..." Sonic cleared his throat to say goodbye to us for the last time.

"Um, you gotta go," Tom said.

"Y-Yeah, I-I gotta go," Sonic said.

"We gotta go too." Tom correctly said.

"Before I go, I'm sorry for all the trouble I did." Sonic apologized.

"It's fine. I'm sure you don't wanna go huh?" Tom grinned.

"I don't wanna go. But I can't stay...as long as I'm here I'll put everyone in danger." Sonic said looking down and back up. "I can't do that. I just want you to know that these 2 days have been the best 2 days of my life."

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I'm am going to miss you. Blue devil." Tom said.

"I'll miss you too, Donut Lord." Sonic thanked. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For saving my life." 

"Goodbye Sonic, it was nice having you around." I smiled sadly as he returned me a wide grin.

"Hey, no tears remember what I said kitty. You're my sunflower." He said and I nodded.

Sonic Pov

I sighed as I held one ring between my fingertips and tossed it to the other side waiting to open the portal of the mushroom land. That's when the portal didn't appear when I heard a TAP sound to knock it over as I gasped to see that crazy guy from yesterday. We were surrounded by this scientists drones and the guy in front of me was riding in front of me in his large space ship.

"Welcome to San Francisco Mr. Wakowski." He greeted us with a mischevious grin. "Are you enjoying the glam joiner?" 

"It's the government wackjob who keeps trying to kill us UNSUCCESSFUL!" Tom proclaimed. 

"Yeah, what are you wearing?" Maddie asked staring at this guy weirds fashion design.

"It's my flight suit design to populate my body temperate to reduce drag." He replied.

"Yeah, and yet you still are one." Tom nodded.

"WOOO! You are catching fire, Thomas. Oh, and speaking of heat I see you've taken a lover. Does she have a name or should we just call her collateral damage?"

"Hey! Watch your mouth. Unless you want a little more what I gave you earlier." Tom warned.

"He punched him in the face," Y/N whisper to her as she chuckled.

"He punched him right in the face. It was awesome!" I emphasized.

"The time for talking is over. It's time to push buttons." He smirked under his mustache.

I placed my hands on my hips and smirked, "Your flying eggs are pretty impressive Mr. Eggman. But let's face it, you'll never catch me."

"Confidence. A fool substitute for intelligence." He said as he lifted a lid preparing to push the red button.

"That's not good," I said.

"Uh, Sonic? Now that you got the super speed and everything but Maddie, Y/N, and I..." Tom spoke up a little hesitant.

"Totally defenseless? Probably gonna get blown up?" I said in coincidence.

"Pretty much yeah." Maddie nodded.

"We need to get out here." Y/N said.

"Don't worry I know exactly what to do," I said as I zoomed behind them and did a massive kick to push them off the edge as Dr. Eggman's mouth dropped.

"I was not expecting that. But I was expecting that not to expect something so it doesn't count." He shrugged as the missiles from his drones launch fire to aim at me as I smirked using ZARWADO-I mean stopping time obviously.

I  looked at my wrist and shook my head knowing this will take a while. I move aside the little missiles that were closed up and casually walked by them as I sped up a little to stop some of them from harming me when I suddenly saw Eggman flying straight down towards me as he prepared to launch his missiles at me. HOW!? I tried to run but I was too late when he zapped me I saw Y/N, Tom, and Maddie falling as I tossed a ring down to catch them and caught Y/N in my arms as we crashed landed on the hard cement road and even my rings were scattered around.

"A-Are you okay, Y/N?" I asked worriedly.

"Yes. I-I'm fine." Y/N reassured. 

"Can I give you one genius piece of advice? Don't run it'll only hurt more if you do." Dr. Eggman warned as I looked over Y/N and sighed. "And it's bad for your joints they proved it."

"Alright, Eggman. You wanna get fast? Let's get fast." I said in a challenging stare off as I hurried to gather up my rings and place them back in the bag. I picked up Y/N in my arms to carry her around for this particular battle is about to start.

"The hard way it is." He grinned.
