My thoughts

SPOILER WARNINGS ALL AROUND.

I'll be jumping around so sorry for confusion.

So after a good nights sleep, I realized that 100/10 I will never watch this movie again.

Okay maybe once again to remind myself how humor in this movie...for me, I really couldn't get the tone of this movie was going for since it was just...goofy.

Even the final fight, it was goofy. I didn't fear for Jacks life because how ridiculous it was.

I have to admit - the first few minutes of the movie...I was sold. I was like - okay I missed this Pirates of Caribbean vibe. And Salazar's design and his crew was really cool.

I even liked his backstory, but when he started telling it my mind couldn't help but to sing 'exposition time'!

And seeing Black Pearl made me joyful because I just love that ship, okay?

Speaking about ships, I loved Salazar's ship and how it 'ate' other ships. What was his ship name again? Bloody Mary? Something with Mary idk.

Also Barbossa finally living how he should have. An absolute pirate king.

BUT

Another thing that I will absolutely hate this movie for is how he died. I expected for him to die in a epic battle but nope.

Corena, whatever her name was just couldn't kick Salazar in the face. JUST KICK HIM DAMMIT.

Oh let's not talk about the Poseidon's tomb scenes....the potential of a epic sword fighting scene with the classic Caribbean music would have been just *chefs kiss* (Henry being possessed by Salazar doesn't count, then again why Salazar didn't possess Barbossa to get on land and just kill Jack while he was forced to marry that woman? Am I forgetting something?)

Random question, but did anyone feel like this movie lacks sword fighting? Like a proper sword fighting scene?

Was it just me?

Also I guess Henry and Corena( or however you spell her name) are cute. I guess???

And oh boy, they used so much CGI in this film...

Anyways.

Maybe I'll review the Sonic movie, maybe.
