"Apply this on the burns for about two weeks." The doctor said. "He's healing faster than most of the patients suffering from burns."
Aera nodded and looked at Donghyuck, who was packing his bag with Mark's help.
"Also, we're sorry about your dad. He was a brave person." The doctor sighed and she smiled softly.
"He was." She chuckled. "Thank you for helping, doctor."

"Baby, do you want to orde- are you going somewhere?" He looked at Aera putting on her mask and shoes.
"Yeah. Gotta select a casket for dad." She said. "You wanna come along with me? We can grab lunch on the way back."
"Yeah, sure. But I don't think I wanna driv-" He started.
"I'll drive." She smiled. "Come on."
He chuckled and nodded, before he grabbed his mask too and put on his shoes.
They got in their car as she started driving off.
"How do you feel now?" She asked.
"It's fine. Gonna put the ointment when we get back home." He said.
"You've got a few burns on your back too." She said.
"But the doctor said-" He started.
"The burns aren't as big as the ones on your hands and legs" She said, looking at him. "Don't worry. I'll put the ointment for you."
"You just want me shirtless." He smirked, and she playfully glared at him.
"Don't make me pull up the car and beat your ass." She said.
"You gonna spank me? Kinky." He chuckled.
Aera let out a hearty laugh at his antics while he smiled at her.
"Damn, your laugh is so attractive." He said.
"Dude. You're such a simp for me." She chuckled. "You're finding everything about me attractive."
"IBmean- you are attractive. But I'm not a simp." He said, and she raised her brows. "I just heard you laugh for the first time, to be honest."
She sighed and said, "My dad made me laugh like this. Even though his jokes would be the lamest ones I've ever heard. But there's no use in crying over him like this, is there?"
He sighed and placed his hand on her thigh. "Just give it some time. It'll be all okay."

After deciding and planning the funeral for her father, they came back home with some pizza.
Donghyuck insisted on watching a movie while they ate, and then cuddles. So here they were, in their comfortable clothes as Aera put her leg on his lap and his hand caressed her thigh.
"Oh, shit- didn't you have to put the ointment?" She asked.
"After lunch, love." He said, not taking his eyes off the TV.
They quickly finished the pizza as Donghyuck paused the movie while she got up to get the ointment the doctor had prescribed. He smiled at her as she came back with the tube and sat down beside him.
"Roll up your shorts a bit so they won't get dirty." She said, as he obeyed. She started putting the ointment on his burn marks on his thighs and calves.
