I had been following Zach for a good three hours, I was surprised he was wasn't gasping for breath. I didn't know what Jay had put in the pack but it was clearly working. I was fine, I was flying from above. I had just managed to convince our parents to let me leave, only to bring Zach back. They tried to send out a squad with me, but after flying under the tree tops I lost the in the maze of never ending trunks. This was my brother we were talking about here, and I was the going alone.
Folding my wings a bit I dropped lower and lower. I taxied on a hot air draft and scanned the ground for my brother.

I spotted him, but then he disappeared into a hole. The strange fox he was with then bolted and headed southward. I grew suspicious and decided to follow him. Eventually he came to a river, then to my surprise he jumped right over it, it must have been five wing-lengths across. I could guess his destination now, there was a small mountain ahead more of a hill. The strange part was the top was completely crystallized. I dropped lower, and lower, till I was brushing the tips of the leaf barren trees. There was a small entrance in the side, a wing-length up from the ground. The fox go up on his hind legs and howled into the darkness. Carefully, I banked and landed on a birch, my landing caused snow to fall. The fox whipped around, but I was hidden behind the trunk.
To my surprise a claw appeared in the entrance. My ears sprung forward to detect the slightest vibrations in the air.

"-led him right to the old nut's house, if you hurry you can still capture him" said the gray fox

"I'll alert Regulus, the boss will want to know about this" said the claw

They were going to capture my brother!
