He lunged at me, pinning me down. He smelled of blood and sweat, not a nice combination. Getting so close to my face I think I would suffocate from the smell. Then his ears twitched and he looked at Zara.

"Who's this?" He questioned "nobody informed me of another?"

He stalked closer to my sister and her ear flew back, the fur on her spine prickling uncomfortably.

"Do I see.. two?... heirs" he crooned

I could already tell this guy wasn't exactly sane. He kept looking at us both in a hungry way, like any minute we might disappear.

"Um, who are you?" I asked nervously

"Me? Oh yes where are my manners, my name is Regulus, the Chief of the Blood-claws"

He roughly grabbed my scruff and hauled me upward, that's when I noticed a something sparkle in the distance. Actually it was quite blinding, I lifted a paw in front of my face and saw a rather large mountain. The base was a regular shade of brown, the top is what caught my attention, it seemed to be made of a type of clear crystal.

"What's that?" Asked Zara

"That is our home, Sound Mountain, named because it hollowness provided for great acoustics, now follow me" he marched off in that direction.

"I don't really think that's necessary" I insisted

"Oh but it is" Regulus growled "we're hosting a celebration just for you two"

Two claws started shoving us forward, and we walked at an awkward pace.

"For... us?" Zara squeaked

"Yes.. haven't you heard of the Blood Moon?" He chuckled diabolically

"No" I answered trying to sound polite

"Well here we are, I trust you find out all about it, lots of claws could tell you, farewell, I'll see you in two days, when the festivities start" a large entranceway appeared out of the midst of trees and shrubs. Regulus hoped in and disappeared into the dark void.

The two brutes gave us a shove and we jumped as well. Once inside, Zara stuck her tongue at the thugs. They watched her with monotone expressions. Forcing us forward once again I noticed the inside on Sound was a lot like the Hill, earthy, large. The lighting was a lot different though, instead of the glowworms I was accustomed to, glowing rocks and gems lined the pathways and adorned the ceilings. How they glowed I was not sure, I doubt the guards were going to give us an audio tour. I hadn't heard a single word since we'd been kidnapped.

I tripped as my hearing gave out suddenly, then it jumped back. I shook my head in disbelief, what the? Then it felt like I was underwater, then it was normal again.

:Can you hear me?

:Zara? Did you force the connection?

:Yeah, I had to talk to you, whatever happens I don't want to lose you again, so if you lose yourself, I will hunt you down and kill you

I rolled my eyes at her, these guys couldn't be that bad. They were celebrating something we had to be at.

:Relax, we'll escape.

She snorted :what plan did possibly think in the last five minutes?

My face fell :I'll think of something.

:And when you do, wake me from hibernation

:You're such a drama queen.

I was shoved the side into a room suddenly, I had been so busy mind chatting with Zara I hadn't realized we'd stopped and they were separating us!

"Zara!" I cried out, but the claw shoved me back in, and moved a large boulder in front of the door.

Then a voice called from behind me "who are you?"
