"Zach!"

"Zach! Wake up!"

I opened my eyes, realizing I had fallen asleep.

"How long was I out?" I asked Zara

"You slept until the sun went down, then you started having a nightmare." she informed me.

Then there was a grating sound, and the boulder was finally moved. A gray claw that resembled Regulus poked his head in.

"Hi, my name is Kennon, my father requests your presence." We stare at him.

"And... who is your father exactly?" Said Zara smoothly.

"Regulus" said Kennon.

"Why does he need us?" I asked.

The older claw blinked "I don't know, he just asked me to bring you."

"Hold your horses, we have to get back to our own underground kingdom, will you please show us out?" demanded Zara.

"I- I- um... excuse me?" He was at a loss for words now, I can remember when we were kits and would do this to helpless adults.

The link sprung up again as we shared the same emotion, amusement.

"It was Regulus's orders.." Zara walked past him with her tail held high.

As soon as we lost sight of him we bolted. Then a clear, loud, ringing noise sounded sharp through the tunnels. Like someone had dropped a metal stick and a large piece of glass. At first it was so deafening we had to stop and claw at our heads in vain to stop the skull jarring, brain splitting noise.

A few minutes later it finally stopped and I opened my eyes. Surrounding us were a dozen or so claws, Regulus included.

"Just great" said Zara.
