Reyna

"Nico should be here by now." Hazel said and Reyna turned and looked away from the dark window.

"It is a long jump-" Percy started but yawned loudly, "Do you think it's to late to go to the dinning hall and get some food?"

"Percy we are about to have a meeting about this war and all you can think about is food?" Annabeth said looking down at a map with a slight scowl, her head upon her hand.

"And you." He mumbles and her arms gives way and her forehead hits the table with a pound smack sound.

Walt mouths,'Ouch,' and Percy rushes to help Annabeth. Sadie was dozing off on Walt's shoulders, his gold chains were the only thing bright in the room. Soon she would had to light the torches.

At that moment Zia lights her staff on fire and whatever Leo was tinkering with it glows and flies to the center of the room and the whole room of engulfed in light.

"Show off." She mummers and extinguishes her staff her ember eyes starring at Leo.

Reyna hears a shuffle and hears the door swing open, revealing three demigods and a magician. Thalia was scowling a large scratch over her hand.

"Shadow jumping sucks." Carter mummers and leans against the wall next to Zia who whispers in his ear and he smiles.

"Luke." Annabeth said her voice was quite her chest was barely rising and falling anymore. Her gray eyes were intense, like a steel sword directed toward the guy.

He opens his mouth to speak and Reyna shifts her attention to Nico who was already next to her.

"So what happened?" Reyna asked Nico who sighs slightly and sits next to her.

"Hellhound." Nico said his dark brows furrow together creating wrinkles, "They usually don't bother me but now that are attacking more. Swiped at Thalia head nearly took off her tiara, but her hands up to defend her neck."

"That explains the scratch." Reyna mumbles to herself and tucks her bangs behind her ears, "I think it's time to start the meeting."

Nico nods his head and fiddles with his sliver skull ring. Reyna hopes he doesn't accidentally raise the dead. Again.

"May I get everyone to take a seat." Reyna said and everyone conversations quite down and they take a seat, "Thank you. Annabeth."

Annabeth nods and raised in her seat and Reyna takes a seat and listens to she has to say about the new war. The War of the Gods.

"So what I've had heard we have gotten increased attacks from both Camps," Her gaze shifts to Nico, "Camp Half Blood more then Jupiter. However we have lead a successful attack on the Giants and Titian's camp."

She takes a deep breath her blonde hair falling into strands and Luke shifts uncomfortable it looks like he wants to say something but decides against it, "We demised their army but the demigods and major Titian's and Giants escaped."

"By the end of the raid we have more questions then answers." Percy adds putting a hand on her shoulder and they together they take a seat.

"We too have had attacks a whole houses wiped off the face of the earth leaving no survivors." Zia explains her amber eyes held sorrow, "We had children in those houses."

"Gods." Piper said and Reyna feels Nico hand slide over her clenched fists and she eased up.

"I think we can all agree." Jason said and all head turn toward him, his glasses were at the edge of his nose, "That this army needs to be stopped, they have strong leaders. Gaia and Saturn."

"Kronos." Luke said his face milky white his scar prominent, his muscles in his arm were tense.

"It's tricky." Sadie said, "The army has Greek and Roman demigods, but we have demons causing trouble. A good amount that attack separately but what when they do attack has connections."

"We believe Apohis is working along side Gaia and Kronos." Zia said.

"I agree." Frank said rubbing his chin hard in deep thought and Hazel kept sneaking glances at him.

The room atmosphere was stressful. Everyone has worried written across their faces. No one was ready for yet another war. This wasn't against just anyone. It was all their greatest enemies combined.

"Enough." Reyna stood the chair flying behind her, Nico hand slipped from her grasped, "Our foes believe we are scared but we're not. They believe we will not be able to stand up against them but we have defeated them before what is to say we can't now?"

"Yeah." Thalia says putting her arrow back in its stash, "And now we have new allies."

"Same here." Carter said smoothing out his regular clothes rather then the weird pjs looking ones.

"What did I miss?" Leo walked, "I brought some food before Reyna called the meeting."

"You sneaked out?" Nico asked raising an eye brow and Walt swiftly grabbed a chip from Leo's large pile. Percy quickly followed.

"Yeah." He said sheepishly and Piper rolls her eye with a faint smile, "Be right back."

Rachel walks through her white shirt stained with markers along with her hands, while her unruly red hair stained with paint. She paused slightly and pulled someone else in. Octavian.

He make a sound between a hiss and a groan when she sat him in a chair. He obeys and Rachel grasp everyone else attention. Reyna stares at the traitor wishing that the catapult would have killed him.

"I've got some news." She said and tapped her foot, "And it's very bad news."

"Any good news by chance?" Walt asks.

"I wish, but the gods have gone silent again. None of Octavian offerings have gone through and the prophecies we put together are missing words." Rachel said pulling her hair away from her face revealing her freckles.

"Why us?" Carter calls toward the ground, "There are other teens who worry about what to wear to a party but we have to save the world!"

"Well Carter at least you only have to worry about one of those things." Sadie replied and if looks could kill she would have been.

Thalia quickly summarizes everything that happened and Leo cuts in many times with his jokes. Toward the end Thalia shocks him and everyone chuckles.

"So you are telling me that now we don't have just the Giants but them plus new Giants and a crazy snake trying to destroy us?" Leo said looking around the room.

"You forgot the Titians." Percy said spinning riptide in pen form between his fingers.

"And the other monsters and demons." Carter puts in.

"They're in Egypt and Greece." Rachel adds and everyone groans, "But they haven't attacked yet."

"Can this get any better." Leo huffs and throws himself into a seat his tool belt hanging over the edge.

"That the gods have gone silent again." Jason said.

"It's official the Fates hate everyone in this room." Leo said.

"Is no one going to mention that Saturn and Gaia are leading them?" Frank said and Leo grins.

"I think the Fates hate is even more."

The room grumbled and shifted in their seats. Hazel rested her head in her arms taking deep breaths.

"Okay Rachel said the banes of the Gods are in Greece as well as Egypt." Percy said running his free hand through his black hair, "How are we going to get there?"

Before anyone could respond a high shrieking noise filled the room. Reyna grimace and her teeth smash painfully together, "Take cover!"

She peeks up over her head to be met with the face of a gryphon. It's eyes never leaving hers, twin dark pools reflecting her. Reyna slowly raises to full height hand on sword, the monster following her movements.

Three more circle over head like vultures. Waiting. Reyna noted the paper ties around it's neck hanging loosely. A sword protrudes from its chest and dust litters Reyna's feet and Percy stands.

He was saying something but his words were useless against the wind. Reyna saw the other two dive then spilt one toward Percy back. She takes out her sword and moves it through the crook in his arm as dust rains down on the two.

"I owe you one." He said and Reyna nods as their heads drift toward where the other had gone.

Sadie held up her staff and bright symbols appear before her, but before she could finish Carter has already finished his symbols and their gryphon was shortly dust.

She blew her blonde hair away from her face, "I had it Carter."

"Sure." He grins at his sister examining his arm that has a three line tear, "If you did I wouldn't have beat you."

She rolls her eyes at him and takes a seat again kicking up her boots, "What was that thing?"

"Gryphon." Frank answers lowering his bow, "Seems they don't like demigods and magicians."

"They have brought us a message." Reyna speaks picking up the paper, and Nico reappears at her side. When she raised and eyebrow he spoke.

"Someone had to get the Oracle and the Argur out." He said with one shrug and takes a seat.

She concealed a smile but it would have disappeared once she started to read, "It's in Latin. But it says, Both who descend from the Gods and hold Gods within themselves shall perish. The quest to save the place we call our homes and along with the world shall end on the Summer Solstice. We will seek them where the weed roots hold deep..."

"Wait-"

Reyna takes a breath, "There's more. Both the land will be stained with red and ichor. In the end the Serpent will swallow the Sun and the Earth will rule."

"They aren't even enjoying this," Leo said, "They love this."

Everyone grumbles an agreement. The night kept going in a downward spiral.

Reyna swallows hard and takes a seat her eyes focused in the middle of the Senate, "Twenty days. Not including this night."

Her words settle over the room like fog over the Bay.

"That's little to no time." Zia said wrapping Carter arm who kept whispering for her to stop but the red was prominent on his cheeks.

"I agree plus we need to be able to cross the United States then the Atlantic Ocean." Annabeth said her eyes heavy like a storm, "Without Monster attacks." She shakes her head, "The odds are not in our favor."

"When have they been?" Nico said speaking up.

It was almost sad to say he was right.

"Back to how we are going to get there last time we had the Argo II but not this time." Percy said and and everyone looked at Leo except the magicians who were a little confused.

"Argo II?" Walt whispers to himself his face in thought.

"That took months to build by what I hear we have only days at the most." Leo says fiddling with her dark spenders, "I still have the blue prints. I think I can do it."

Annabeth sighs a breath of relief it was one less burden, "Now the plan when we arrive?"

"Kick butt." Carter said and Zia shoot him a look her eyes sharp like a sword and he shut his mouth while Percy smiles.

Annabeth smiles, "I wish but they have an army. We have eleven demigods and four magicians."

"I say the odds aren't in their favor." Piper said starring into her dagger that was dull but grinned up at her friend. Sadie was had a half grin playing at her lips.

"We have more allies then you think." Percy said, "Think of all out friends we have met and have helped up."

"The Hunters." Thalia said speaking up her arms folded over her chest, while stealing a glance at Luke.

Who had remained quite but he was looking back.

Something sparked inside Reyna, "My sister Hylla and the Amazons."

"That's it." Percy said, "And some of the best heroes ever know have came back to us."

"But how?" Nico said so softly Reyna could have sworn he never open his lips.

"It's very late." Annabeth said stretching and rubbing her wrist, "We can discuss the rest in the morning in the meanwhile get some rest. And goodnight."

Good nights chorus through the senate and Reyna walks over to the magicians.

"We have a home in New Rome that we all we be staying in." Reyna said, "We don't want to bring any harm along our fellow campers."

"We understand." Carter said, "Lead the way."

Everyone was too tried to say anything else as they walk the paved roads to the homes.

"Pick what ever rooms you want." Reyna says, "That shall be your room until we have a permeant solution."

Everyone divides between the two homes mumble to sleep well as they went. And Reyna send a small prayer to hope no one got nightmares tonight.

She found a room and only took off her armor leaving herself in her day clothes. Hair sprawled against the sheet she tries to sleep, but fails.

Laying on her back she looks up to the ceiling then toward the window to see their is still night. Rolling back over on her side she closes her eyes and tries to find sleep.

Only when she feels the someone squeeze her hand she could let herself slip away.

Really late update, my bad have a lot of projects due since it's the end of the school year and what not.
Hope you liked the chapter! It was a lot of discussing that state of things so yeah.

And I'm pissed the picture I updated on the last chapter didn't come though.
