Chapter 12 - Loss Part 2

It was finally time. Matt was going to kidnap and Kill Luke. That way, he could pay. So Matt got Funtime Freddy ready. Luke, now 8, was being invited for a birthday party at Freddy's. How convenient. Matt didn't even have to move Funtime Freddy.

There was only one problem. Ever since Luke killed Jake, Nate wouldn't let him out of his sight. He was afraid of what Luke might do, or even worse, what might happen to Luke. He knew that these animitronics could get angry, but he also knew that there were... a bit slow, to put it lightly. Except for The Puppet. The Puppet held grudges and attacked people.

It was almost time. Matt didn't have to get into the springlock suit this time. In fact, with Luke, it might even work better if he himself lured him to the back. Matt took a deep breath. He tapped Luke on the shoulder.

"Hello, Luke." He said. Luke turned around, confused.

"Hi! Who are you?" He asked.

"You don't remember me?" Matt was disgusted. He killed his son, and he couldn't even remember the boy's father.

"Wait... Mr. Patrick? You work here?" Luke smiled. Does he think he can just ignore the fact that he killed his son?

"Yeah, I do. Can I show you a special surprise?" He asked. Luke, not thinking, nodded and followed Matt to the back, where Funtime Freddy was waiting.

Nate looked around for Luke. "Luke?" He called out. He was afraid that he had wandered off. Nate went into the back hallway, seeing Luke go into a room, following a man.

Matt lead Luke into the room, closing the door behind him. In the center of the room was Funtime Freddy, ready for action.

"Now, wait here." Matt said. "Go ahead and say hi to Freddy, if you want."

Matt then left the room, watching through a hold in the wall. Nate opened the door just a crack to see what was going on. Luke approached Funtime Freddy, reaching his hand out to touch him. But then it happened. Funtime Freddy's stomach opened and pulled Luke in, but as the stomach closed up, something went wrong.

Luke was tall for his age, but now that he was 8, he was even taller. And that was a huge problem. As the stomach area closed, Luke was scrunched into the area, screaming. Nate watched in horror, paralyzed with fear. When the stomach snapped shut, there was a loud cracking sound. Both Matt and Nate's eyes went wide with panic.

Nate was about to run in, but Matt beat him to it. Matt ran in and pressed a button that would release the child. When he opened it though, Luke wasn't limp like all the others were. He was packed in the stomach tightly. Matt pulled him out, pulling with all his might. Nate watched the entire scene, both on the verge of tears at the loss of his son, and also praying that the murderer would turn around.

Luke finally came out of the stomach, but it was obvious what happened. Luke was too big for the space and his neck snapped under the pressure. Matt had to get everyone out. He put on the voice filter and made his way to the intercom.

"We apologize for any inconvenience, but there has been an accident in the back. We ask everyone, yes, everyone to leave the building." Matt explained under the voice changer. The employees knew that voice as their boss, so they all obeyed and got everyone out. But Nate knew the voice as Phone Guy.

That's Phone Guy. Why did he... kill my son? He wondered through his shock. And who is he? Those questions were both answered when he turned around. It was only when Matt turned around, that Nate finally recognized him. It was Matt. Matt was Phone Guy this whole time. But more importantly, Matt was the murderer of his son.

Matt decided that he had to hide the body. So he shoved Luke back into the stomach. He had to get Freddy out. Luckily, he had a plan. The company had a truck that they used for renting out the animitronics. Matt took apart Freddy's pieces and quickly moved them into the truck. He got into the front seat and drove off.

Nate stepped inside the room and knelt down where his son once stood. He got down on his knees, and cried. But then something happened. Someone else had seen the scene go down. The strange hand fell onto Nate's shoulder as he looked up.

Nate looked into the Puppet's black, hollow eyes. They had one thing in common now. They both hated that child murderer. Nate stood up. He knew what to do. If Matt had killed his son, he would just have to kill Matt.
