Apex Science's CEO, Clark Nelson was in a fit as he swiped things off his desk, Apex was close to bankruptcy and all of their major contracts/clients have deserted them, ever since Monarch liquidated almost all of their operations after Godzilla Vs Kong, Apex was in desperate need of a breakthrough

Apex Operative: sir! you need to look at this! *opens the files and spreads the pictures*

Clark: what is this?

Apex Operative: our researchers found a strange egg deep underground in South Africa, it looks identical to that of the Mothra egg but darker and red in color instead of blue.

Clark: *smiles as he believes this could help with the problems at Apex* let's not fail to capitalize on this opportunity, bring the egg here

Later, in the city square, the egg was shown on display, managing to draw a crowd and bring in profit for Apex, things seemed to be going well until the egg hatched, and what emerged was not Mothra, but Battra, her brother

Apex Operative: Titanus Battra! What should we do sir!?
