Ok I'm sorry BUT PLEASE READ THIS! Everyone knows that the paladins of Voltron wear the exact same thing every fucking time. But I was just sitting in class earlier today and thinking. wait they went out of the Garrison in one pair of clothes. found the blue lion in those clothes and took off into Space in those damn clothes. Trained and fought in those DANM clothes. NO wonder they wear the exact same thing when they aren't in their armor! THEY ONLY HAVE ONE PAIR OF SPARE CLOTHES AND HOW THE FUCK DO GET AROUND WHEN THEY WASH THOSE CLOTHES?! WITH OUT SEEING EACH OTHER NAKED!? well Lane would put on his Pajamas. WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS! Do they even wash their clothes!?

I'm sorry but this is killing me right now.............I just can't do this. HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET SWIMSUITS!

BACK TO THE STORY

KEITH

I felt arms wrap around me. I was pulled into a warm chest. My arms crossed my chest. I hear growling. I look up to see Shiro. His ears are pointed. He bared fangs at everyone that was around. I felt a tail wrap around my leg. It wasn't mine. Everyone started to back away. Even the other Paladins. The queen stood up.

"Fine. I don't want it. Just take the supplies and get out."

Shiro stops growling.
"Lets get going."

They all look to me. I shrug. We go outside. The ride back was silent. Lance and hunk directed the alien horses pulling the carts. I rode on Van, Shiro had his head on my shoulder the entire time, nuzzling me. When we got back we load everything on. We gave Ila a crate for survival. We get in our lions and head back to the castle.

"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?!" Princess screamed. I throw my helmet off. She starts ranting and I try to make the pain go away.

"Shiro care to explain?"
She asked no answer.
"Shiro?!"

"I'm a galra like Keith. I got protective of him and the baby and I guess it triggered."

Silent. It was silent for a few minutes.
"Just get back to the ship."

Everything was silent. Once we got back we unload and meet the princess in the control room.
She looks pissed off.
"Princess. I-"

"Shut it I don't want to hear any of it!"
She cut Shiro off.
My ears lower.
"Everyone leave. Except Shiro."

They leave I hesitate.
"Go I'll be fine."

"Come back in One piece."

I leave them alone. As I walk down the hall I meet up with everyone. I hear Shiro grunting and Allura yelling at him. My ears flatten more.
Lance pulls me into a hug. A few tears escape. Everyone joins in. The grunting stops. I hear the door open. I break away. Shiro limps over and opens his arms. I speed walk over and wrap my arms around him.
Why us?

What did we do? We fought for the Universe. So why?

Time skip

Nine months. Now I'm just waiting. The alarms blared.
"THE GALRA ARE HERE!"

I get dressed since I'm already in my lion. I felt a really strong kick. I grunt and hold my stomach.
"Keith? You ok?"
Hunk asked.
"Yea just a strong kick. Let's get going."

We fly out and form Voltron and attack. The baby kicked me again. I breathe and keep going.
"Keith form sword."
I put in my bayard and the sword formed. We continue to fight. The Blades show up and start helping.
A sharp pain goes through my back. I grunt grabbing my seat. The pain eventually dies down but starts again.
"Ow ow! Not good. Why now?"

"Keith?"Pidge called to me.

"I think the baby's coming."

"WHAT WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE BABY IS COMING!" I throw my helmet off when Allura was in the middle of screaming at me.

"EXACTLY HOW IT SOUNDS!" I scream back at her.

Shiro pov

"OWWWW IT HURTS!"
Keith screams. His heart beat appears on my screen. Along with the baby's heart beat.

"Keith, breathe it's gonna be alright."

I fight the urge to bring him back.
"Just contractions. Keith. Can you hold out?"

"Y-Yea, not long though."
I sigh.
"Keith if it becomes to much then tell use we'll stop."

"That's not an option. We have to finish this now. If you don't then the galra can easily take the lions and destroy the entire blade of mamora. They all follow Zarkon." 
Allura said.

"Ok let make this quick."
We continue to fight. Keith's heart beat sky rocked I hear him scream in pain.
"Shiro it hurts!"

"Breathe Keith. Stay calm. Hunk shoulder cannon."

"On it."

"Keith you need to get to your nest."

"No I need to fight."

"Keith you're in labor. It's dangerous!"

"Hold on... I can still fight. With my mind."

Voltron right arm started to form sword. It slashed around. "Advance to the main ship!"

I can hear Keith panting and yelling. Voltron shakes a little. We attack the main ship. After that Keith's heart beat slowed down.
I heard a baby wailing.
"Keith?"

"It's a boy. Shiro we have a baby boy."

"What are you naming him?"

"Nico. Nico. Nic-o"

Beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-

Both lines went flat. We dispatch and head back to the castle. I rush to Keith. I pick him up carefully, the baby on his chest. I rush to the infirmary. I get Keith into a healing pod. The glass went up. The others rush in.
"He's not breathing! Why isn't he breathing?!"
I press my hand against the glass. The baby cough and started crying. Keith still didn't have any life to him. The glass dissolved. I grab Keith and the baby. The biblical cord was still attached.(the Biblical cord is the cord that attaches the baby to the sack) I hold him close and sit down rocking them. Tears slipped through my eyes.
"Please wake up."

His body jolts. He gasps and coughed.
I sit him up and hold him tight. His head resting on my shoulder.
"He's alive!"

Keith was huff. "Keith!"
Kolivan rushes over. He hands me a blade I cut the cord. The rest of the sack was pulled out of Keith.
"Come lets go to your new home."
I stand up with Keith.
"Wait Shiro? What about us?" Pidge asked.

I look to Keith then to Kolivan.
"You may join if you want."
He said.
"And the lions?" Hunk asked.

"Take them. We don't have any use for them."
We turn to see Allura.
"I'm going back to my home planet."

"I kinda wanna see my family. Plus I need to find Matt and my dad."

I smile as a black figure sneaks up behind her and wraps arms around her waist.
He took off his mask.
"Way ahead of you sis."

Pidge turned jumping on him.
"How about we go back to Earth then we go home."
I suggest.
Keith nods. I can tell he's exhausted. Nico coos while sleeping on Keith's chest.
"He should sleep in his nest."
Kolivan said.
I take him to his lion and lay him in his nest of pillows and blankets. Keith licks Nicos face. I leave them alone. Allura was waiting outside.

"Allura. You can do what ever you want to me but you will not hurt Keith or Nico-"

"I didn't come here for that.  I'm here to say I'm sorry. For how I treated you and Keith. Being the last of my people I can't have kids of my own. I guess I was scared and.....jealous. Whatever! your free to go and do as you please."

She turns and leaves me.

that was surprising. Kolivian walks in as Allura left. 

KEITH POV

I nuzzle my baby boy. He's so tiny and cute and he's a fighter just like Shiro and I.  I starting singing to Nico.

"She tells him "ooh love"
No one's ever gonna hurt you, love
I'm gonna give you all of my love
Nobody matters like you 
She tells him "your life ain't gonna be nothing like my life"
You're gonna grow and have a good life
I'm gonna do what I've got to do

Nico grips my shirt and nuzzles into me. My ears flick around, Lance Pidge, Hunk and Shiro came onto the ship.

The trio Awws when they see Nico.

"Did he open his eyes yet?" Lance asked.

I shake my head "not yet" I Look down to My sleeping baby. He's to cute. I gently pick him up and cradle him in my arms.he lets out a tiny yawn and opens his eyes. Hazel eyes with a hint of violet. his lips curled up and reached his tiny hands up to me. he huffed and coos out. he laughed and nuzzled into me. He has little blotches of purple on his body, ears and a tail. Lance wanted to get him dressed so I allowed it.

"I Call being the uncle!"

"Aunt!"

"I want to be an uncle to!"

Nico lets out a yawn. I lay him down and curl around Nico's body.

"He can have two uncles guys. but we should let them sleep." Shiro said and made everyone leave. He kisses my cheek and Nico's

"We'll be home when you wake up."

i nod and sleep holding Nico close to me. 

Perfect mate/boyfriend. My perfect baby. A new home. A new start.

Nico will have a fathers love, and a mothers love.

Things that I never got as a kid. His life will be better than mine.
