Third Person POV

It was a nice day out, so the queen of Arendelle decided to go a small hike up the North Mountain. The ice queen was heading up to the North Mountain to enjoy a nice cool breeze for the evening. Maybe even stop by her ice palace for a little bit.

Elsa strolled through the snowy forest, her thoughts interrupted by faint sobbing. She followed the sound, finding a small boy, no older than five, huddled beneath a tree. The young boy was shivering against the tree, his clothes were all torn up, and the child was completely dirty.

But that was not what worried the snow queen. What really got her attention was not the child's presents but the marks he had on his body.

The ice queen was concerned on why this child was out here all by himself especially in this weather. Slowly Elsa approached the child, once she got closer to him, the child looks up and notices her approaching him.

The child backs up against the tree, fear in his eyes as Elsa walks up to him.

"Hello," Elsa said softly, crouching beside him. "What's your name?"

The boy flinched but whispered, "Y-Y/N."

"Y/N, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice gentle.

"I-I... ran... away," he admitted, his voice trembling. "My m-mom... she blames me for my father's death. She gets so mad and... she almost..." He trailed off, tears streaming down his face.

Elsa's heart broke. "That's not your fault," she said firmly. "No one has the right to hurt you."

Y/N looked up, fear and doubt in his eyes. "What if she finds me?"

"She won't," Elsa promised, holding out her hand. "Come with me. You'll be safe now."

After a pause, Y/N took her hand. As they walked to the castle, Elsa vowed silently: no one would harm him again.

Timeskip

Inside Elsa’s castle, Y/N stared in awe at the glittering ice walls and roaring fireplace. Elsa knelt beside him. "Are you hungry?" she asked.

He nodded hesitantly. Soon, a warm bowl of soup appeared before him. He ate slowly, his eyes scanning the room nervously.

Anna entered, her smile warm. "Who’s this?" she asked gently.

"This is Y/N," Elsa explained. "He’ll be staying with us."

Anna crouched beside him. "Hi, Y/N. I’m Anna. Welcome to our family."

Y/N blinked. "Family?"

Anna nodded. "That’s what we are here. You’re safe now."

Over the next few days, Y/N adjusted to his new home. Kristoff showed him how to feed Sven, and Olaf made him laugh with silly stories. Elsa was also able to get him checked by a doctor and cleaned up with some new clothes.

The young boy was starting to get settled in in his new home. He also started getting used to being safe around everyone.

One evening, Y/N sat beside Elsa by the fire. "I’ve never had a family like this before," he said softly.

Elsa smiled, wrapping a comforting arm around him. "Well, now you do, Y/N. And we’re so glad you’re here."

For the first time, Y/N felt he belonged.

Elsa's POV

After a few weeks went by, Y/n finally got settled into his new home, and is slowly getting better. Once he got settled in, I decided to adopt Y/N as my son, and everyone was with me on it.

When Y/N find out I adopted him, he literally jumped into my arms and began crying tears of joy. From that day on he was now my son and a part of the royal family.

Elsa walked hand-in-hand with Y/N through Arendelle’s snowy streets, his laughter warming her heart. “Look, Elsa! A snowman!” he exclaimed, pointing to a child’s creation.

“It’s a fine snowman,” Elsa said with a smile.

Suddenly, a voice cut through the air. “Y/N!”

Elsa turned, her body tensing. A woman stormed toward them, her eyes wild. “That’s my son,” she snapped.

Y/N froze, clutching Elsa’s hand. “No,” he whispered, hiding behind her.

Elsa noticed that Y/N was starting to get very scared of this woman. And then hit her, this woman was his abusive mother, and she know why she was here.

Before she could get any closer, in a swift motion my hand made contact with the side of her face, causing the woman to stumble back while holding her cheek from where I slap her.

"Keep your GOD DAMN HANDS AWAY FROM MY CHILD! YOU WITCH!" I shouted with rage.

Everyone around us gasps in shock, nobody could believe what their queen just did just now, and started to watch what was about to unfold. The woman stands there, holding her cheek that was now beat red from the slap, her face expression was full of pure shock.

"W-who are you? " She asked with confusion.

I got in front of my now scared child as he hid behind me. It was also a good thing my sister and Kristoff were right behind me in case things got out of hand.

"I'm his mother, his real mother." I said with anger in my voice.

The woman's eyes went wide,

"He's my son and I'm his mother! " She said trying to get people on her side.

"Your son? The one you abused?" I laughed hysterically.

Everyone around us gasped and begin whispering with questions. Some people look at the woman with disgust while others were confused.

Anna and Kristoff were also looking at the woman in disgust. Elsa's sister had a few choice of words for this woman.

"You have no right to be a mother after what you did." Anna said with discuss her voice.

Kristoff then crossed his arms. "He's better off with us than he is with you."

The woman stares at them with anger in her eyes.

Elsa stepped forward, her tone calm but firm. “He’s safe with me.”

“You have no right to keep him!” the woman shouted. “He’s mine!”

“He’s terrified of you,” Elsa said sharply. “You hurt him.”

“I didn’t mean to!” the woman protested, desperation creeping into her voice. “He’s all I have left.”

Elsa knelt to Y/N. “Do you want to go with her?” she asked gently.

Y/N shook his head fiercely. “No! Please don’t make me!”

Elsa stood, her gaze icy. “Then he stays with me. You’ll need to prove you’ve changed before he even considers returning.”

The woman glared but stormed off, leaving Y/N trembling. Elsa pulled him close. “You’re safe,” she whispered. “I won’t let anyone hurt you.”

Y/N stares up at Elsa with tears falling from his eyes. "I don't ever want to go back with her!" He cried.

Elsa then held her child close to her before lift him up into her arms. "Then I'll never let her near you again."

The little holds on to her for dear life. "P-Promise?" He asked with a sobbing voice.

Elsa gently rubs the little boys back in comfort. "I promise My Little Snowflake."

From that day on Y/N remained as Elsa's son and a part of the Royal family. Y/N's real mother was never allowed to be near him ever again by the kingdom of Arendelle.

She was also no longer welcome in the kingdom of Arendelle by the queen herself.

Y/N began to live a happy life with his new mother and new family. Where he felt love and not fear thanks to them. He's now safe with his real family.

The End.
