(Dan's Prov)

I wonder why he didn't tell me about her. She's cute and they look adorable together. Why do I feel like something's off. I've never see Phil more nervous and (y/n) doesn't seem nervous at all. Maybe I just have to get to know her, maybe I'm just being paranoid.

"So (y/n) where you from," I smiled. "Oh I live in the country a little outside of the city. You could say I got a thing for plants," she smiled. "Cool, I could never make it out there, it would be my absolute worst nightmare," I chuckled and Phil laughed with me.

"So Phil are you guys official or did I crash your first date," I smiled as he blushed. "We aren't dating we just met today and we're just friends," said Phil. "What!? No way you two seem close," said Dan surprised. "We just clicked as friends he and I are about as close as you two dating," she chuckled. "Well then we must be pretty darn close," I sassed and we all laughed.

(Phil's Pov)

After dinner, (y/n) got up. "I should be going you both enjoy your night," she smiled. "You're leaving," I asked a lil sad. "Yeah, I usual wake up with the sun, so I sleep when the sun sets," she replied. "Total opposite of us," said Dan. "Can I see you tomorrow Phil," she asked shyly and I could feel my face heating up, Dan was staring at me which didn't help. Why am I so embarrassed. "Uh yes," I finally said and her face lit up and she hugged me. "Yeah totally not dating," laughed Dan.

She soon walked out the door and Dan put his hand on my shoulder. "I want detail sir Phillip," he smirked. "Like what," I said raising a brow. "Do you like her or not, did you really meet her today, what's with all the whispering," he asked and I gulped. Finally I took a deep breath and said, "I was lonely so I took a walk. I ended up getting lost so I stopped at the police station for directions. (y/n) as talking with her dad and smiled at me when I walked in. She helped me and I invited her in for a drink to say thanks. We hit it off as friends and that's when u walked in." "Hm well at least something good came out of you being alone," smiled Dan. "Yeah I guess it did," I smiled back. I helped with the dishes then I excused myself to my room,

I slumped into bed. "I just lied to my best friend. Why does it hurt me so bad... I've never been good with guilt. If he finds out I lied how will he trust me again.... I'm just Phil the LIEster," I mumbled into my pillow.

"Don't cry."

I jumped. "Who said that?" I whispered as I looked around. The plant on my table began to glow; a leaf fell off and began to dance, as if it was over a fan. "(y/n) is that you," I asked then the leaf stopped and fell back down. "Did you come to cheer me up," I whispered and the leaf started dancing again, I couldn't help smile. "Thanks (y/n)," I smiled whiping away a tear.
