MOTHER DEAR!!!

I sat alone, for a while,

And thought about something,

Which I was suppose to think-years ago.

Unfortunately, I thought it late,

And have had made you suffer.

Mother dear, the day I thought to look into your eyes,

I saw something and was surprised and shocked,

Though you had a smile plastered on your face,

But your eyes had tears in them.

You were sad deep inside,

But you didn't show it at all,

Into the deepest core of your heart,

Somehow I managed to peek.

The time has passed,

But mother dear,

You're still the same,

With all the aches in your heart,

You work real hard,

Day and night, is your motto I guess.

You're an ideal person,

You're the light,

That shines on me.

You're my torch.

You're my candle.

Tonight when I'll raise my hands to pray,

When I'll bow upon my knees,

I'll pray to God for your long life,

I'll pray to Him to ease your aches,

I'll pray to Him that you stay by my side,

Forever and ever!!!
