Say something... [UT]

...I'm giving up on you.

They'd laugh as children. Running through the snow as their grandpa watched over them from afar. Papyrus would be small enough for Sans to carry at this time, so Sans did.

Their grandpa was the only one taking care of them these days. Their parents were... deceased.

I'll be the one, if you want me to

"You sure, bro? I can be a mean it!" Sans giggled, lounging in the snow as his brother smiled at him from above.

"Of course, brother!" Papyrus beamed.

"If you say so..." Sans got up, and in a flash of blue Papyrus was tagged.

"Got ya, bro." Sans grinned, blue magic still crackling from his teleporting.

"SANS! That's cheating!" Papyrus would always stomp his foot when he was angry.

Anywhere I would've followed you

Papyrus ran towards their grandpa Semi, ready to tell his brother on him. As always, Sans would follow, always a good amount of steps behind.

They loved their grandpa. He did a good job taking care of them.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

It would be years after that their grandpa's life would come to an end.

And I am feeling so small

Sans would be a teenager, and Papyrus still only a child. They'd continue playing childish games, pretending grandpa Semi was still there, watching over them.

It was over my head

They would live in their house a bit longer. Until the reminders of their grandpa became unbearable.

I know nothing at all

They would leave. They would look for a new home.

Papyrus would look back to the snow covered town, and ask Sans why they had to leave.

Sans would reply that he didn't know.

And I will stumble and fall

They would live in the garbage dump for many years, feeding off scraps of food and entertaining themselves with whatever they found there.

I'm still learning to love

They would stay there until they were found.

Just starting to crawl

So they were found. Taken in. Loved.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

It would be after all those years together that Sans cried. Ectoplasmic tears streaming down his face in a steady blue color. All those years... where they had been their own homes.

I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you

He shook his head, shuttering as he held his brother's red scarf close. He muttered apologies as he cried into the red dusty fabric.

Anywhere I would've followed you

And he would have. God, would he have. He wrapped the scarf around his neck. He silently, and with great sorrow gathered his brother's dust and began to walk home.

No one to follow anymore.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

He would pour the dust onto his brother's racecar bed. Though he was certain there was something Papyrus valued more, he hoped his dust would rest in piece there.

Heh.

More tears dropped down his face in gooey blue globs.

And I will swallow my pride

He would stand in judgement hall. He would stop crying, and give in to the pain his loss gave.

You're the one that I love

He would fight angrily. He would bend the rules. He wouldn't cry. The only thought that went through Sans' head was how much the human would pay until they were finally released.

And I'm saying goodbye

He would slip up.

...Sans would die.

Say something, I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you

He would finally have tears pooling in his eyes. He would see his brother. He would see the bar he had always felt at home in. "Welp. I'm going to Grillby's"

And anywhere I would've followed you

He knew he was dying. He seen his brother and was filled with joy. Just being able to see him again... He dragged himself closer towards home.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

Towards the little brother he had loved to death.

Heh.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

"Hey, Papyrus."

"Yes, Sans?"

Say something...

"Want anything?"

A/N : I know it isn't that good, but I've that idea for a while so... as long as it's done, I guess.
