I don't want to leave [UF] [US...?]

Trigger warning for domestic violence and multiple kinds of abuse.

There was a firm smack of bone hitting against bone. "You think you can go around here yelling about everything just because you don't get what you want?"

His brother looked him in the eyes. "It's because of him... isn't it?" Red's eyes wandered towards his, his, bedroom door.

Fell glared. "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM."

Sans' eye flared red as he glared up at his brother. "This has everything to do with him. You're favoring him because you gained this magical idea that if you didn't he'd leave and run away. Well guess what boss? If he does then he doesn't need you. And maybe I don't either." The flare of magic drooped down and became sad red tears.

Papyrus took on a look of pity and confusion. "Sans, I don't favor either of you. I love and care for you both exactly the same-"

"Bullshit." Sans began stripping himself of his jacket. Next came the collar he had held dear since his brother had given it to him all those years ago. It was tossed to the floor like it was garbage. "All you care about is him. When he left that's all-" He choked up. "He's all you talked about. How happy he was. How grateful he was. How amazing he is. I tried being all you described him as, everything you wanted in a brother and still... I understood you missed him." He looked Papyrus dead in the eye. "But did it need to be that painful to have me around?"

"Sans-!"

"No. No more. I can't deal with you. Not anymore." Sans walked towards the door. "You got him back. Congratulations. Tell him how much you missed him!" Sans slammed the door as he exited the house. The Snowdin air blew through his skull, sending shivers down his spine. His tears froze on his face painfully as he sniffled.

Papyrus jingled the doorknob loudly and with one last hiccup, Sans teleported to the nearest shelter he could find.

Papyrus ripped open the door as soon as he was able, a few tears of his own threatening to fall. There was his brother's residue magic, but that was the only trace of him he found. He grimaced unhappily and bit back a sob. He pried his sharp toothed mouth open and screamed to all of the underground. "SANS! COME BACK HERE OR I'LL NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY MUG AGAIN." He was tense, body straightened and hands clutched in two angry fists. More weakly, he screamed. "SAAAAAAANS, YOU BETTER NOT HAVE GONE!" With no reply, he broke down. His face fell with reluctance. His knees wobbled and forced him downwards. "SANS YOU DUMBASS." For the first time in years he cried openly. "I can't lose you too..."

He shook his head and buried his skull in his knees. "Not again, damn it!"

"...edge?"

"What the fuck do you want?" Papyrus spat.

"Hey! Language." Berry scolded. His face softened. "What happened?"

"Red left." The taller of the two wiped his eyes before his tears could spill. "Good riddance."

"We have to go after him."

"It's too dangerous. And it's not like he'll want to come back." Papyrus sighed.

"That's just more reason to get your brother, edge."

"Berry, you don't understand." He barked.

"WHAT don't I understand? Red is your brother and we need to find him." Berry stomped towards the door, determination beginning to rise.

Papyrus sighed, unused to talking. "I... hit him. It was..." he sighed again at Berry's expression. "We had a fight."

Berry grabbed Papyrus by the scarf and walked him to the door. The larger's eyes widened briefly in surprise. "Fight or not, frankly, I don't care." The door was opened and Berry let Papyrus go. "We're going to find him."

Papyrus sighed and scrubbed his eyes. "FINE. WE'LL GO SEARCH FOR MY S-STUPID BROther..."

Berry smiled. "There ya go."
