Sally & BEN: Sally is still, somewhat, a child. So if her food falls, she would be very disappointed. BEN would just cry because he's a ghost that doesn't really need to eat, and just seeing his food falls reminds him of it. 

Jeff: I feel like he stress eats, so he's already pretty stressed out when he grabs his food, but when it falls to the ground, his stress just snaps and there are the tears.

Ticci Toby & Hoodie: I mean, they're proxies and I'm sure crying over food isn't something they would do. I mean, Toby might cry if he spend so long making his food. Though I feel like Hoodie would get mad instead.
