oh and i wanted to write a thing based on this post because i thought it was funny:

"You did what?" Spencer shouted as he paces back and fourth in the living room. Ryan sat with his laptop open, grinning at his brightly lit screen.

"I emailed Pete Wentz," Ryan grinned, "that really cool bassist from Fall Out Boy. The band that everyone loves and—"

"George Ryan Ross the fucking third," he interrupted again, "you sent him an insulting email, then our demos?"

"Yeah," Ryan nodded. "Told him that his band fucking sucks, then a link to our demo via the LiveJournal."

"He's going to pound us into sawdust with insults in return!" Spencer shouted, sitting besides the guitarist.

"Yeah but with his new label, there's no other bands. No competition—it's better for our band," he took a short shrug as he shut his laptop. Spencer still sat there, dumbfounded.

Spencer threw his head back into the wall and continued to groan, "Ryan, you really think it'll be that easy to get signed to his label? It's Pete Wentz for fucks sake! The infamous guy that everyone's falling for! It's almost as bad as insulting Frank Iero! Did you even tell Brent about this?"

"Nope. Before you ask, Brendon already knows. Surprisingly he's not as nervous as you."

"We use to be called Pet Salamander! You really think he's going to take the name 'Panic! At the Disco' seriously? We sound like a bunch of twelve year olds—"

"You're the one who helped me make up the name, Spence."

"Fair point."

Ryan set down his laptop on the coffee table, then placed his feet up, "It's either we get signed, or we don't get signed. Simple as that. He likes it or he doesn't. Not the end of the world, dude."

"I guess you're right," Spencer shook his head.

"Now, I'm going to make us some hot chocolate."

"It's fucking hot—"

"I don't care."
