I'd Trade Anything For One More Day
written on like December 24, don't even remember what this one was about

Brice couldn't help but wake up in cold sweat that morning. His heart was pounding and his whole body was sweating, almost as if he had woke up from a nightmare. The blankets that had securely wrapped around him toppled down onto the mattress, and his pajama attire had somehow "buckled" a bit. Within the darkness, he gazed around, sighing with a bit of relief for as he knew it was only just a dream.
"Do you believe in ghosts?" Brice had whispered to Shelby, or what he thought the lump under the blankets was.
"Brice, it's two in the morning," a voice has croaked. "Go back to sleep."
Brice felt unsure about who that was. He released an exasperated sigh, nodded his head, and laid back down in bed. He shut his eyes and drifted back to sleep, fatigued and feeling like he was just hearing things—again.

Brice woke up that next morning feeling a bit more refreshed. He sat up that morning much like he had did last night, rubbing his eyes and stretching. The birds chirped loudly and the sun shone through the windows. It was bright and it had burned his eyes a bit; but it was okay. He turned to the side.
He had expected to see his girlfriend sleeping by his side, he'd always like to wake her up with a stupid little kiss on the cheek. Oddly, he saw a mass with brunet hair, turning towards their side and breathing calmly. Yes, Brice knew it wasn't Shelby, and he was a bit panicked about that, too.
