Thirty-Four (Smut)
The months passed. But it felt like the border to Toussaint got further and further away with every step you made towards it. It was like a nightmare. Whenever Morvran dared to speak to a local they would answer him in the language of Nilfgaard. Most of them even wore the sun of the empire.
They talked about raging war and bad times to grow food. The fields looked like a battlefield. Nobody was willing to sell their last bite of food. Not even for a hand full of gold.
To your luck, no man dared to attack either you nor Morvran. They were too scared to be drafted into the military when they crawled from their hideouts. The land felt like a hollow shell of itself. The once proud empire of Nilfgaard had become a battlefield itself.
It hurt Morvran to see his beloved land like this, you could read it on his eyes. But he never hesitated a single time and was the one that wanted to rush to Toussaint as quick as possible.
As another day, miserable like any other, came to an end, he found an empty house. You sough shelter there, the roof was still whole and the walls have enough protection from the cold rain. The horse remained outside, feeding on the last not of grass that had not been hammered into the ground by soldiers in heavy armour.
"Here, eat.", Morvran said, offering you a piece of bread.
It was the last piece, you knew that and he had not eaten a single bite of it. The food was coming to an end, there was only a bit of cheese and water left. Usually, you would have hunted or bought the necessities from a farmer. But the closer you came to the border of Toussaint, the more miserable things became. No animals were running around no more, most of them had been killed by the soldiers that had passed this land.
And the farmers had either no food themselves or were too afraid to talk to strangers. Especially to strangers that looked neither like Nilfgaardians nor soldiers of Redania.
"You take it. I had something this morning.", you pushed his hand back to him.
But Morvran wouldn't have been Morvran if he would have accepted your request. Over the past few months, you had learned that he was a man with a string will. Whenever he found something right, he wanted it to be his way. So, he never accepted food that he wanted you to have without a fight.
"You're hungry, I can see it. Don't worry I won't die without it.", he tried to smile but the happiness was hard to find while sitting in an abandoned house while rain was pouring from the sky and there was not enough food left.
With a soft smile you took the bread and broke it into two evenly big pieces. You kept one and handed him the other.
"Compromise?", you asked.
He hesitated but took it.
"Compromise."
Visibly hungry, he began to bite little pieces from his bread. If it were for him, he had swallowed it whole. But he needed that piece to last at least until he intended to go to bed.
"Wasn't what you had expected, huh?", you asked while pulling a blanket over your shivering shoulders.
Without saying a word, he shook his head.
"I do not regret my decision. I am here, with you. Of course I wish to give you a better life but right now it is not possible. But we will make it right. For the both of us."
"How can you talk so lighthearted? It seems like you don't want to see any of the negative changes in your life."
"My life is different, not worse than it was before. To be honest, even despite the lack of food and wealth I am a lot more happier than I was before.", he grabbed your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I love you, (Y/N). I want you to know that you are the source of my happiness. As long as you are with me I will never be as miserable as I was without you."
His words made you smile. But at the same time they were like a knife to the chest. He has had it all. And now he had nothing. All because of a simple person like yourself.
Putting the bread away, you came closer to him.
For a long, way too long, moment you just looked at his face. He had such a nice face. But it was marked by tiredness and fear. There were deep circles under his eyes, making him appear as lively as a corpse.
"Let me give you a little happiness.", you whispered into his ear and lowered yourself between his legs.
Surprised, he looked at you but let it happen as you opened his pants and reached into them to grab him. A soft gasp escaped him as you began to move your hand, causing him to harden between your fingers. You were surprised how thick he was. The length was average but the thickness surprisingly solid. You almost could not close your hand around it.
As you opened your mouth and let the tip of your tongue glide over his shaft, he closes his eyes with a deep gasp and let his head fall back to enjoy the warmth of your mouth.
Smiling, you lowered your head and took him in as deep as possible. It almost frightened you how big he was.
Slowly, you began to move your head up and down. With the tip of your tongue, you began to tease his entire length as good as possible. He tasted salty but not unpleasant. As his hand got tangled in your hair, you picked up the pace and let him decide him fast you were going.
His heavy breathing filled your ears. His grip hardened, as you picked up an even faster pace and took him in even deeper. He hit the back of your throat, causing a choking sensation to crawl up. Suddenly, he pushed his hips further towards you and pressed your head down a little more. Getting the hint, you licked his length until his breath began to shake.
"Don't stop.", he whispered. "Please..."
With a smile on your lips, you took him into your mouth again, working on him until the very end.
With a soft moan, he found his release, pushing you down on him.
Struck by surprise, you swallowed all of the thick juice that came flowing out of him.
He was shaking. As the high washed over him, he leaned back and sighed softly.
Smiling, you looked at him.
"I love you, Morvran Voorhis.", you whispered into his ear.
