"The Doves?!" Someone screamed as Juuzou sat in the restaurant arena, sullenly.

"Run!"

"It's Big Madame! Aim for the boss!"

"Gya!"

"Kill her!"

"Mama?" You turned to your side to ask your mother what to do, but she was gone. Gone.

Gone.

Gone?

Gone.

And then you looked down at your stomach and realized that you couldn't run very well. So you looked down at Juuzou.

He's not running. I guess I shouldn't either. You sat still in your seat, trying not to be hurt by anyone. I wonder what his plan is...

Juuzou didn't actually have a plan at that point, he was just surprised and he didn't see any point in fighting. And when he looked up and saw you mimicking him; staying absolutely still, he decided that it just might work.

"Are you okay?" A tall man stopped and asked him. "Are you a human?"

Juuzou looked him in the eyes suspiciously.

"It's okay, you can talk to me. I'm a human and I'm here to help you."

Juuzou glanced back up at you and then back at the man in the heavy armor. Finally he nodded.

"Okay, let's get you to a safe place. Come on, follow me." He nodded in the direction he wanted Juuzou to follow in, but the white-haired boy stayed put. "What? What is it?"

Juuzou pointed up at you.

"What? Who is that?" He squinted, trying to look in the distance.

"She has my baby." Juuzou mentioned nonchalantly. "I have to have her too."

"Is she human?" The man inquired. Juuzou shrugged at this; it was probably better to feign ignorance he figured. "We do not have time for this. Go get her and bring her down. Then, follow me."

With a flash, Juuzou began leaping up towards you.

"Hello, YN." He gave you a sad smile. "I've come to take you away from this place. That man down there said he's going to lead us out. I advise you not to tell them you're a half ghoul though."

"Sure." You nodded. "I missed you, JuJu. Are you okay? I know my mama probably hurt you..."

"Not really. Let's talk another time, huh ghoulie?" Juuzou held his hand out to you and you graciously took it. Pulling you down from the grand stands, he began to try and run with you after the man, but it was made abundantly clear that you weren't going to be running in your state.

"I'm sorry, Juuzou." You puffed, out of breath. "Just... go ahead. I can... catch up."

"No, no. I would never leave you and the baby behind." He smiled a little bigger at you. "No reason to run anyway."

And so, you both slowed to a walk.

"What do you think it's going to be like on our own?" You asked him, holding his hand.

"Different." He responded quickly. "Things have changed, YN."

He sounded much darker than normal, worrying you.

"What do you mean, JuJu? Did you really get hurt?" You asked him again.

"I really, really did." He stared forward and plastered a blank look on his face. "But I'm going to get very strong now. You won't have to worry about anything."

"Well... okay..." You sighed. I'm worried about you though.
