"Bye mom, I Love you." I yell while running out the door to the bus stop. I hate being late to school.

When I get on the bus, I pull out my phone to look at my hair. Sometimes my hair can get really messy, full of snarls and frizzy.

My black hair was only messy, no snarls or anything so I just threw it back into a pony tail. My brown eyes had dark circles around them, probably from my lack of sleep. I was up till probably one in the morning studying for a test, that I could not afford to fail.

The reason is because my mom will get super mad at me, most likely to call off the trip to Florida to see my cousins this winter. Except there's a smaller matter, I don't want to be shown up by my best friend who gets an A in everything without trying.

My best friend Annabeth Chase was the smartest girl in school, along with being the most athletic in the school. She's beautiful with long, blonde, curly hair. She has these really unique stormy gray eyes. I wish I was as pretty as her, but I do like how I look.

I was walking down the hall, when I heard my name on the speakers, asking me to come to the office. I don't remember doing anything wrong, so I'm nervous. Did something happen to my mom or dad?

Walking into the office, I see the lady at the front desk waving me over.

"Hi Ms. Reemers, we have a new student do you mind showing them around?" Mrs. Oakley asks.

"Yeah, I can show them around."

"Ok good, you'll have to wait for them to leave the principals office though."

"Sounds good." I walk over to one of the chairs and pull out my phone, checking my Instagram. I heard a door open, but didn't look up.

"Ms. Reemers, will you please come up here?" Mrs. Oakley asks.

"Ok so Mr. Jackson meet your guide, Madison. Madison meet Percy." A boy, it's a boy, I'm not good with boys, especially HOT boys. This guy is at least 6 got on the the dot, with black hair and sea green eyes.

"Uh, hi?" It sounded more like a question than a simple hello. I felt my cheeks heat up, making me look like a strawberry.

"Hi Madison." He said my name! Oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm this excited for a boy.

"C-can I please see your schedule?" He quickly nodded and handed me his schedule. Okay, we have 1st, 3rd,6th, and 8th together.

"Okay so, first we both have english, so just follow me." We went to his locker, then walked to the english room.

"Ughh, I hate english." That shocked me, was he one of those people who hated everything? Hopefully not. We both walked to the middle of the room and took a seat.

"Why?"

"I'm dyslexic." Oh, my best friend is dyslexic to, maybe she can help him? Maybe she could even help me ask him out?

After that we had seperate ways me to math and him to science.
After that we both went to latin/greek class. You see our school put them both as a class, the first semester is latin and second is greek. We are about one week in on the second, so greek it is.

"Percy go up to the teacher and ask for your seat." I went and sat by my partner, Ashley. I got my stuff ready for class, putting my books on my desk and taking a pencil out of my bag.

I look around the room for Percy and realize his spot is right next to where Annabeth sits. Annabeth doesn't like partners for greek, because they don't know something or get it wrong.

I was about to get up and warn him, but then Annabeth came walking into the classroom, looking down at her book. She sat down in her seat, not even paying attention to Percy.

I turn back to listen to the teacher talk on about the project we are gonna do with our partners. I look back at Percy and see he's looking down at his desk, not even paying attention to the teacher. Yah, Annabeth will not like this partner.

Annabeth p.o.v
"Ok class, for the rest of the week. You will work with your table partners. The assignment is easy, look up three major gods and two minor gods." The teacher told us, then continued on to when it was due and the grading system.

I really wasn't paying attention, all I could think of is my table partner. Usually I don't need one, but the new student is not as familiar to greek as we are, so the teacher paired them up with me.

"Ok, so I think we should do Poseidon, Athena, and Apollo for the major and Iris and..." I can't actually think of another one to do. I look at my partner for their descion.

My new partner is a boy who had his head down on the table, with black hair.

"What are you looking at me for?" He says, bringing his head up off the table.

"Percy?! What are you doing here?" I ask him, I'm gadfly to see him I just want to know why.

"There were some problems at Goode."

"Oh." With that we get to work on the assignment.

Madison p.o.v
I look back at Annabeth's and percy's table to see them working on the project together.

I like that they seem to get along, because I plan to ask out percy later today. Probably at the end of the day.

------lunch time------

So I don't know where percy is, I lost him. I hope he is just following Annabeth around for right now.

Yup he's with Annabeth right now. I know that because they just walked through the doors. They seem to be laughing at something that Percy said.

"Hey guys, Annabeth I see you have meet Percy." I tell them. They look at each other and laugh. What's so funny? "Did I say something funny?"

"No, it's just that Percy and I have known each other since we were twelve and have been dating for about a year now." Annabeth answers back.

On the outside I was happy for her, but on the inside I was secretly crying. I just meet Percy, but he has something that just makes you like him.

Who here is excited for school!! Not me that's for sure. My brother keeps telling me how excited he is and its annoying. He doesn't know how hard math gets.
