A/N Another chapter! This one is a no mist chapter. So, I guess I should give a little backstory so that makes sense. Here we go! It is true that the evil Gaea has been defeated by the brave and valiant seven of the prophecy. But alas, with her final wish, Gaea invoked magic older than even her, and ripped apart the thin veil between the mortals and supernatural beings. Hecate lives still, but the mist has dissipated. The gods have revealed themselves, and are now going from city to city, visiting schools, city halls, and other places where mortals congregate, in order to answer any questions that may be raised. Meanwhile, Percy Jackson is suffering the terrible ordeal that is known as Mortal High School...

I was freaking out as I got ready for another mundane day at Clarion Ladies academy. A couple nights ago a screen had appeared floating in mid air in front of me as I read on my bed in the dormitories. Apparently this had happened to everyone, because as the people on the screen informed us, it was an "announcement of the utmost importance." Ha! Understatement of the millennia! Apparently, the Greek Gods were real, as were monsters and demigods, who had saved the world multiple times, and now that primordial evil women Gaea had taken away the mist, they had decided to reveal themselves before everybody in the world had to go to an insane asylum! Oh, and let's not forget that the Roman persona of the Greek Gods is real too! Like I said, I'm freaking out. The Gods had said that they would be going around to schools and such to answer any questions. I didn't have any questions myself, but I wanted to meet some of the demigods they were talking about. The gods had told us some of the demigods accomplishments, and I honestly felt sorry for them. Their lives sound terrible! Lucky for me, and for anybody else who wanted to meet the demigods, the gods had said that as they went around to schools, they would start with the schools that the famous demigods were at. I wondered if there were any demigods at my school. I couldn't know for sure, because the gods hadn't given us the names of the heroes.

-----Ava will take you to fifth period, but she is still rebelling because she doesn't get to choose where to take you, so I once again apologize if you end up in the wrong spot.-----

The music was roaring in Myrtal's ears as she fought her way through the tightly packed crowd- Ava! I'm sorry people. Ava, please just take them to the right place. Please? I'll give you a pay raise?

-----Okay, Ava agreed to work properly for a pay raise, so here we go to fifth period - for real this time.-----

I slumped in my chair, staring intently at the clock. I was counting down the minutes until the next class, where I would count down the minutes until home time. Just then, the P.A. system came on. "All students and staff please report to the gymnasium for an important assembly. I repeat, all students and staff to the gym," The voice of the principal of San Fransisco High School flooded into the room. What the heck is this about? usually only the teachers go to assembly, not all of the staff. Wait a minute. What if the gods- but it couldn't be. They won't have picked up all of the heroes that they told us about yet. They said that they would visit five to seven schools per day, maybe more depending on time changes, staying at each for about an hour. They said it would take two days to pick up all the heroes. This is the second day since the whole "Hey, everybody, we just wanted you to know that gods, demigods, and monsters are real, and you could be attacked any second if you are an unclaimed demigod. Have a nice day!" thing. It was so kind of them to spring that on us and then let us go back to our regularly scheduled activities with them hardly elaborating on what the heck they meant. I'm getting off topic. But the gods really shouldn't be here yet. Unless one of those heroes they mentioned is at our school............. I mean, it's plausible. They didn't tell us what the names of the heroes are. They just said that the heroes had saved the world, some of them multiple times. I guess that that could be the case.

We filed into the gym and sat down in the chairs that had been hastily placed so that we would have somewhere to sit. I found a seat next to Rachel Dare, one of my good friends from this torture called boarding school. She felt the same way about Clarion's, so we bonded over our hatred of this particular school. When everybody was seated, there was a flash of light and thirteen adults (A/N The Olympians plus Hestia and Hades) as well as nine teenagers. The adults introduced themselves as gods, and then the teenagers stepped forward. The whole time, the main thought running through my head was: who is the person they have come to pick up in our school? In their announcement two days previously, the gods had said that their were ten people they would be picking up, and not necessarily all from school. They did say that they would only be picking up demigods, not other mythical - or, I should say, completely real creatures. Anyways, the ten they would be picking up were: The seven of the mysterious Second Great Prophecy, that was clearly meant to be capitalized by the way they spoke about it, and yet they told us virtually nothing about it, two of the people who took some sort of statue that apparently stopped a war to a camp, and the modern day Oracle of Delphi.

(A/N I wanted to get Will, Thalia, Grover, and Coach Hedge into this, but I couldn't make it work. :( I guess we'll have to do without Solangelo for this one. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( I promise you, I will find a way to work at least a little bit of Solangelo into the next chapter.)

I'm getting off topic again. The first teenager stepped forward and introduced herself. "I am Reyna, Praetor of the Twelve Legion, Daughter of Bellona, Roman goddess of war. I led Camp Jupiter in battle against Krios and his minions. I explored the Mare Nostrum alone. I helped to bring the Athena Parthenos back to Camp Half-blood, preventing a war between the Romans and the Greeks." (A/N I making some of the things up here........I don't know what else to put, so I'll just leave it at that.) She was wearing a purple, Roman Style cloak, and had dark hair that was pulled into a side braid. The next stepped forward. "I am Nico di Angelo, son of Hades. I escaped the Lotus Hotel. I explored the Labyrinth alone and assisted in the Battle of the Labyrinth. I fought in the Second Titan War. I went through Tartarus alone, searching for the Doors of Death." (A/N You know what? I'm getting bored and this chapter is already long. Fast forward to after the other teenagers on the stage have introduced themselves and stated their titles. In ase you didn't realize, the nine teenagers are Reyna, Nico, Annabeth, Percy, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Jason, and Piper.) After all of the heroes - for I have now ascertained that they were, in fact, the heroes the gods spoke about - introduced themselves, the gods explained the two great prophecies.

Then, the god I recognized as Apollo, god of the sun, prophecies, and a whack load of other stuff, stepped forward. "So in our message, we said that we would be picking up ten people. The last person is the Delphic Oracle, and she is right here in this gym. Rachel Elizabeth Dare, would you please come up?" I turn, stunned, to my friend. She grins, winks at me and walks up to the stage. After she explains who she really is and how she became the Oracle, the gods ask for questions. I'm too shocked to do anything but sit there, but before long they've answered everybody's queries, and Zeus says that we may now have time to mingle. The heroes go to step off the stage but Apollo halts them. "Before you go, I have a haiku to recite!" The demigods and Rachel look horrified, but it's too late.

"The gods are revealed

As are heroes and monsters

I'm the coolest one"

I thought Apollo was the god of poetry? If he is, maybe somebody else should take over the job. In any case, Rachel is leading her friends straight to me. She takes care of introductions, and we get along really well. They don't specifically say anything about it, but I can tell that some of them are couples. Especially Percy and Annabeth. When they were on stage, they mentioned that they'd been through Tartarus together. They didn't talk much about it, it was obviously a painful subject. Still, it was plain to see that before they'd been through there they had been in love. Now, I doubted anything could break that love, not even Aphrodite. All too soon, it's time for the gods and heroes to leave. Annabeth and Percy have gone off somewhere, and the one whose name is Leo is currently trying to see how long it will take for fire to melt a piece of plastic that looks suspiciously like somebodies folder. The gym is full of bodies, and with all the shouts of people trying to get the demigods together so they can leave, it's just too much. I slip out a side door and head to the gardens of the school. That's one good thing about Clarion Ladies Academy; they have beautiful gardens.

I've almost reached my favourite spot: a swan fountain surrounded by rose bushes. Just as I go to turn off the path into the fountain's clearing, I hear low voices come from the fountain. I creep forward, hidden by bushes, until I have a clear view. The people at the fountain are Percy and Annabeth. Percy, the son of Poseidon that he is, is making animals with water from the fountain. As I watch, the water morphs into an owl. Annabeth smiles and says something, but I'm too far away to hear anything except noise. Percy replies, and they move towards each other. Sitting on the edge of the fountain, they kiss. The water hovers momentarily over their heads in the form of a heart, before gently returning to the fountain. I silently back away, heading to a different part of the garden, to give them some privacy.

-----Ava will take you to four years later, but this is costing me a lot of money, so you better enjoy it-----

It's been four years since I met Percabeth, and I am now a well established botanist. Though I've kept contact with Rachel over the years, I haven't seen the others since that day at Clarion Ladies Academy. But I still think about them. When I see a couples relationship working out badly, or when I've lost hope for humanity, I think about how perfect Percy and Annabeth are for each other, and how deeply in love they are.

A/N There you go! Another chapter! That one's a long one too. I don't really have anything else to say. Anyways, please comment and give me feedback! Have a nice day!
