Susan's pov

I recognised percy Jackson the moment i saw his pictures. He attended the same school as me.

He is quiet popular, but not a jock. He's good to everyone. I was also counted in the crowd of girls that admire him from afar.

No one knew he had a girlfriend​ though. And the thought made me sad. He was 3 years older, maybe even 4. And i still fancy him.

Percy never noticed me because i never had the courage to stand within a few feet from him.

Tomorrow is Monday. And I'm sure percy will be there. This is when i thank god that i was younger. I don't​ have any class with him.

🌄🌄🌄Next morning 🌄🌄🌄

I woke up at my usual time and got ready for school. We had a strict Schedule to follow. Even at home. My dad does not tolerate when people brake the rules.

I am ready by 7:00 and i go to the dining table for breakfast. Me and my brother are seated at the table when dad joins us.

Mom serves us breakfast and we start eating. I don't like the controlling attitude of my father, no one does, but we have to cope.

After breakfast, we discuss what we are gonna do today and then my father leaves for work.

Since I can't drive, Arthur drives me to school, like everyday.

There is an unusual buzz everywhere. Everyone seems to be busy. I reach my locker and meet my friends Pauline and Rosalie. They wave excitedly.

I hug them and proceeded to shove my books in the locker.

Then the two gossip queens aka my best friends, start gossiping.

"You know what is si special about today Susan?" Rose asked me. I shake my head and lean against the locker.

"Well FYI on Friday, the the professor's announced that the seniors that wish to gain extra credit, have to do a project." Pauline said and Rose continued

"And the project is, that the seniors​ have to teach 5 classes this week, the subject they excel in. And you won't believe who will be teaching us biology!!" Rose says and bounce on her heels.

"Who?" Now I'm curious too.

"PERCY JACKSON!" both of them scream togeather. My smile drops immediately.

"Oh" i said.

We have biology first leacture. I am not ready to face him after what happened yesterday. He will obviously make some rude remark about me. After all what my dad said yesterday, was way out of line.

The three of us walk to the class when bell rings. The students students​ are filling in. Once everyone is settled the door openes and percy comes in with a graceful smile.

He sets the books on the table and scans through the class. His eyes linger on me and recognition dawns upon his face.
His smile doesn't flatter though.

He rubs his palm togeather and released a breath.

"So class, I'm here teach you biology, for the entire week. I hope we all enjoy ourselves." He said with a bright smile, showing off his perfect white teeth. The girls around sighed dreamily and tried to gain his attention.

"Any questions anyone?" Almost all the girls raised their hands.

"Um, you there last girl." He pointed to Marisa.

"Are you single?" She asked. I'm sure that was a question everyone wanted to ask.

"Well, because it's not anyhow related to biology, I'm sorry, I can't answer that." He gave her an apologetic smile and moved to another question.

"Will you go out with me?"

"Sorry"

It went that way till the bell rang, signalling the end of class.

"Ok class, so from tomorrow we start learning actual biology. I want you'll to maintain a notebook for my lesson. And you will note down the contents i give you in it. I will be checking it. Have a nice day."

Everyone ran out of the room. Percy was sorting out the attendance sheets and i had a crazy idea.

I stood next to him.

"I'm sorry" i said and braced myself for the long speech i was going to recieve.

"It's ok" his reply came.

"What? You are not going to shout at me?"

"Why would i shout at you? You have done nothing wrong" he faced me and said with a smile.

"But yesterd-"

"Yesterday whatever happened had nothing to do with you. Whatever was said, was said by your dad, and i am a bit mad about it, but none of it was your fault. So chill" he said.

I sighed and smiled at him.

"Thank you. I was feeling really guilty about it. Now i feel like the weight is lifted off me"

"Don't mention it"

I left the room with a smile on my face. I went to my next class and the day went normal.

From the next day biology lessons became everyone's favourite. Percy had different techniques of teaching. He made the hardest topics easy to understand.

"Today was the last lesson. From tomorrow your regular teacher will be teaching you. I had fun teaching you guys, and in future if you need my help, you can come to me. Bye" he said and smile before leaving the class.
