Sofia's​ pov

Hi everyone, I'm Sofia Morgan and I have recently shifted to my new house in New York. I am 26 now and still not married. huff! Honestly I am waiting for the right guy who would love and care for me to no end. But that's off the topic....

I moved to New York because i got promoted. I work at 'Athens Architecture'. I love working here. 1) because i am originally from greek and the company is mainly into greek-modern architecture.
2) because it pays really well.

I got promoted to be the assistant of the chief designer (i don't know if it's a position or no. So please just go with it.) Of the company. His name is Malcolm.
The house I'm staying at is given by the company as well. It's in a respectable neighbourhood and from the looks of it i can tell the house is designed by the company itself.

I quickly unpacked my stuff. I was really tired. I think a short nap would be great and that's what I'm gonna do. Anyway its getting dark outside.

------------------------next day.......

I got up pretty early today. I didn't have to go to work right away as i recently shifted. I start work from tomorrow. Might as well go around the city.

I am heading toward a small café right now that i saw just a few blocks away. I reached the café and opened the door. The intoxicating smell of coffee and freshly baked bread hit my nose and i had my mouth watering. I entered and sat in an empty booth. The place was nice and cozy. Not flashy nor trashy. I was looking around the café when a waitress came to me and asked for my order. I ordered a cappuccino and a double chocolate bagel. The waitress- Stacy gave me a polite smile and left. After five minutes Stacy came back with my order and i gave her a smile and said thank you. As i ate the heavenly food my thoughts drifted towards my new job. How would it be like there. My co- workers, my boss, the workspace.....

After my visit to the café i went to the empire state building. It was a tourist attraction here, so why not?

The view from the top of the empire state building was fantastic! Everything looked so tiny. Looking around i eventually got bored and went on a stroll in the park. It was getting late and i was too lazy to make dinner so i thought of settling for pizza today.

--------------------------next day

I woke up at 6:00 am today to get ready for work. It takes 30 minutes to reach to the office if I take a car. I got ready in an hour and left for work. I decided to go early so that i can look around the place.

The building was huge. It was probably 17 storeys high. I picked up my jaw that was probably on the floor and went inside.

I reached at 7:30 and went to the receptionist.
"Hi, my name is Sofia Morgan and I'm promoted to be the new assistant of Mr. Malcom, the chief designer here." I said.
She looked at me and gave me a smile and told me to go to the 15th floor. I stood in front of the elevator and pressed the button. I was waiting for the elevator when the receptionist came to me.
"Hey, Sofia you can't take that elevator. Its the one that the bosses use. Everyone else uses that one on the left." She said.
"Its ok Megan. I'm sure you'r 'boss' wouldn't mind her staff using the elevator once in a while. Anyway the elevator is here so why wait. Yeah?" A husky voice said from behind me.

I looked up to see a very tall man with black hair and green eyes look at us. He walked towards us and went in the elevator.
"Come on miss. Don't you want to go up?" He asked. I was so mesmerised by his looks i almost forgot that i work here and i have to go up.
I looked at megan and she looked a bit nervous but nodded. I slipped into the elevator and pressed the button for 15th floor.
"Hi, I'm percy jackson." He said with smile."Sofia Morgan" i said.
"Are you new here I haven't seen you here before." Percy said.
"Yeah. I'm appointed as the assistant of Malcom." I said
"Oh Mal. He's a nice man. Lucky to work with him" he said. I nodded. I got off the elevator and bid farewell with percy even though i wanted to stay and speak to him. He just had an effect. And i was just too shy....

----------------------------month later
(Cause' I'm too lazy to make this chap anymore longer. So im just gonna take a time leap.)
It's been over a month since i have been working here. I and percy meet almost every day. I'm not awkward around him anymore. I really like him. But that doesn't change the fact that he is practically my big boss. Ya he is Malcom's boss as far as i know. I've heard a few people call him 'boss' and i saw him giving some work to Malcom every now and then. But we are pretty close for a boss and employ. He lets me come over in the special elevator some times. Stops to speak to me, Only​ for a few minutes, but still.

I was currently working on the new design Malcom made. It was the design for the owner of the company. For her house. Its funny how i still don't know my bosses name. But i never bothered to know.

I finished giving it a couple finishing touches and left my cabin to go to Malcom. I left my cabin and saw Malcom coming this way.
"Hey Malcom. I finished the work you gave me." I said.
"Sofia im afraid you have to give this to Annabeth yourself. I have a really important work right now I can't go." He said.
"Who is Annabeth.?"i asked
"She is the boss. The one you have to show the design to. Since its for her house her husband will be there as well." He said.
Suddenly i felt nervous. I nodded and asked for directions of the office.
I quickly gathering all the necessary stuff and headed towards the office...

I finally find her office and i was about to knock when i slipped on my heels and went flying inside. I don't know what was more embarrassing my position or the ones in front of me.

But the thing that shocked me the most was that who stood in front of my eyes. There was percy. Kissing the girl who was most likely Annabeth. I mean they were kissing. Until i came in. Swollen lips, heavy breathing, extremely messy hair, crumbled shirt...all signs that they were making out.

They both straighten their outfit and looked at me blushing.
"Hey Sofia! Nice to see you. If you don't mind me asking what are you doing here?" Percy asked still slightly out of breath and he has the guts to ask me what im doing here when he was not supposed to be here!
"Shouldn't i be the one asking you the same question? What are you doing here percy? And you are Annabeth right! My 'ultimate boss' shouldn't you be here with your husband? Have you been cheating on you husband all along? Making out with your employees! You should be ashamed of yourself​. God knows how will your husband feel when he finds out that you are cheating on him! Now that i think of it maybe it's all about you! You are the one who trapped percy in the trap isn't it!?!" I exclaimed while glaring at Annabeth who was looking at me. Her facial structure was unusually calm but her eyes were swirling with anger and hate. On the other hand the look on percy's face was murderous! His calm green eyes were the darkest shade of black ever seen. But he is just in the girl's trap. I know that!

I then set my project on the table and took hold of percy's arm and pulled tried to pull him out of the cabin with me away from the b**ch. Key word tried. He wouldn't budge!

"Sofia whatever the misunderstanding is we can solve it in my cabin no need to take him anywhere and creat a scene." Annabeth said calmly. Then suddenly percy pulled his hand from mine. Aggressively might I add. Then an idea formed in my head. I will drag him outside and reveal the truth about Annabeth cheating on her husband. Then I'll convince percy that Annabeth was the bad guy. It will creat a rep for me and I'll get percy as well. Win win situation!

Then i grabbed his hand again and tried to pull him. Again he din't budge. I know he was getting frustrated. Ready to burst.
He pulled his hand out of mine."You want to make a drama out of it isn't it! Why can't you leave already! Im warning​ you for the last time​! Leave. Us. The. Hell. Alone!" I admit it hurt. A lot.

"Why are you defending that bi**h percy! She is not good for you! She is already married and is cheating on her husband! Who knows how many more boyfriends she had! She is not good enough percy! She's a cheat-" percy cut me off by holding my upper arm and dragging me out of the cabin. Annabeth came up behind him and tried to calm him down.
"Percy calm down. It's ok. Let's go. Don't waste your time and energy on her. Come on." She said while touching percy's shoulder.
"Oh no Annabeth. No one insults you and gets away with it! She called you a cheater. She has to pay!" He shouted. By now a crowd started to form.
"Percy, what are you saying I'm your friend. We're friend percy! She is just using you can't you see she's-"
"ENOUGH!! I HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR NONSENSE SOFIA!! ONE WORD AGAINST ANNABETH AND I'LL NOT THINK TWICE BEFORE KILLING YOU!! AND WHY ARE YOU SO INTERESTED IN OUR PERSONAL LIFE! AND WHY WOULD SHE CHEAT ON MYSELF!! AND THAT TOO WITH ME!! THAT MAKES NO SENSE! YOU MAKE NO SENSE!" he yelled.
"You know what. Get out out this office for now. I don't want to see your face right now!" He said while controling his anger.
I was already in tears. Then suddenly his words hit me like a tons on bricks on my face.

They are married!

Percy is Annabeth's​ husband!

Annabeth is percy's wife!

Oh god! I've made such a big fool of myself. But now I can't back down. I can still make percy mine. Even i deserve a happy life. Yes I won't give up!

"PERCY WHAT ARE YOU SAYING! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! WE WERE SO HAPPY TOGEATHER! ALL THOSE HUGS AND KISSES, ALL THOSE NIGHTS OF PASSION THAT WE SHARED TOGEATHER! DIN'T THAT MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU!?! TELL ME!" I said mentally smirking. Now Annabeth will leave him and eventually he will come to me.

"Annabeth! percy! What the hell is going on here!" A blonde boy with blue eyes and glasses came cutting thought the crowd.
Annabeth explained everything to the boy 'Jason'. And all the while she had a calm expression. While percy's expression was murderous and was glaring at me.

I stood my ground though. Jason looked shocked at first but then he took deep breaths to calm himself. He looked at me.
"Look sofie or sofia or whatever your name is. I don't care what you do in your life. But if you'r actions​ affect my brother and his wife in any way possible then you can count on me to make your life a living hell. Do you understand!" He said.
"But percy and i love each other. He cheated on Annabeth. He is a cheat-" this time jason cut me off.
"Don't you understand what i just said! Percy has more loyalty in his hair than you have in your whole body. And cheating on Annabeth is the last thing he would ever imagine to do. We all love percy and Annabeth, so if you value your life then i suggest you to shut your mouth and leave." He said.

I went to Annabeth and stood n front of her. She looked at me with a calm expression.
"You believe me don't you. I love percy and percy loves me. I don't know what I'll do without him. I don't care if he leaves me but I can't raise our baby without its father." I said shredding fake tears.
Annabeth tilted her head to the side and looked at me in confusion. Percy was looking at me as if i said I'm from mars. Jason had his eyes narrowed at me.
"So your saying your pregnant with percy's baby?" Annabeth asked.
"Yes. Our symbol of love." I said.
"Jason call will and get her checked right now and right here in my office." Annabeth said. I was worried now. What will i do. But i could always convince the doctor. Offer him double amount and change the results.

With 10 minutes a man with blonde hair and a white lab coat came in the cabin where we were. The crowd was still here. Annabeth din't let them leave. She wanted them to witness the scene.

I was being examined by the guy named will. After the treatment he looked at me with disgust and narrowed his eyes. He was heading out but i stopped him.
I pleaded him to say that i was pregnant and that i loved percy. He flipped and started giving me a lecture on love. Then after half an hour full of argument and money offerings he finally gave in. True love always wins.
I handed him the money and he secured it in his bag.

We went outside together and i was doing a happy dance in my mind. Will had gone to bring the report of the treatment. He'll be back in half an hour. I looked around the room and saw that no one was tensed about the results.
"What will you do it the results are positive?" I said smirking.
"They won't be." All three said in unison or more like yelled.

Will came back holding the reports in his hand. He opened the reports and read it out loud.

"The reports say that the father of the child that miss Sofia Morgan is carrying is.....not Percy's and if you ask me who's the father. Then I can't tell that because there is no baby in the first place." He said smiling and the smirk on my face fell. My plan failed. I was about to defend myself when he took out a small memory chip and inserted into the laptop on the table.
It was the footage of me and him. Me pleading him to change the reports and offering him money.
He then walked up to me and placed the money in my hand.
"Percy, Annabeth​ imma heading out now. Had a date with Nico. And guess what I'm half an hour late. Pray for me guys." He said and ran out.

Now time to face everyone.

The outcome was bad. They did not yell at me. No one did. I only got looks of disgust from everyone. I lost percy. I was being send back to my town and to my old position. I don't know how I'll face my friends there.

I was ashamed of myself.

So guys thats the end of the chap. I know its kinda over dramatic. But i was half asleep when i wrote it. And I'm trying to make my chaps different from other books because the chapters in those books are so similar they can be twins!
