Fredrick's pov
When Matt and I went upstairs, i did not see Annabeth anywhere, the sound of shower made it clear that she was in the shower. But what made me worried was where was percy.

"Annabeth, come downstairs as soon as you can i want u 2 meet someone." I called from the stairs while heading down with Matt.

"Matt, let me show u your room by the time Annabeth comes down" i said.

"Of course mr.chase. im kinda nervous to meet her though." He said.

I chuckled and patted his back.

"You'll be fine Matt. She will thank me later for introducing both of you." I said

He just chuckled in response.

I really hope Annabeth will give him a chance. I want her to be happy.

Matt and i talked​ randomly while waiting for Annabeth.

He told me he was going back to New York after the summer.
That means he would be able to spend more time with Annabeth since she is going back too.

The sound of footsteps descending from the stairs brought me out of my thoughts.

Annabeth came down. But what caught my eye was percy's hand. That was wrapped around her waist.

She was laughing at something​ percy said.

Matt was sitting opposite me so he could not see them and i did not want him to see them wrapped around each other. They are friends and should act only as friends.

When they reached i stood up and introduced Matt.

"Annabeth this is Matthew. One of my colleagues son. And Matthew this is Annabeth my daughter." I said

Matt turned around and stretched a hand for Annabeth to shake.

Annabeth ignored the hand and nodded her head in acknowledgement.

Then i noticed percy looking at Matt funny.
He looked like he was trying to remember something.

Then suddenly his expression changed from concentration to shock to anger.

He was full on glaring at Matt.

I cleared my throat.

This caught everyone's attention.

Matt was looking at Annabeth the whole time ignoring percy.

Annabeth was acting as if Matt does not exist and was looking at percy.

And percy was glaring at Matt.

Then out of the blue Percy stretched his hand for Matt to shake.

"Hi I'm percy. It's a pleasure to meet you again Matthew sloan." He said as if really pleased to meet him, leaving me utterly confused.

I furrowed my brows.
Matt's​ expression was bo better than me. He looked more confused.

"You guys know each other?" I asked.

"Yes" (percy)

"No" (matt)

"Huh?"

Now Annabeth had her full attention on the conversation.

"Percy you know him?" She asked

"Yep! All too well. We were in same school in sixth grade. Don't you remember me Matt sloan? Percy Jackson and tyson. Ring the bell?" He said

Matt's eyes widened in shock.

" No, no, no. You can't be that percy. That kid was scawny and definitely not as good looking as you. Muscles were a total different level." He rambled in shock.

" Well im glad you think im good looking." Percy said with a smirk.

Now i was officially the most confused person in the world.

"So he is the one. Huh?" Annabeth looked at Matt with disgust.

"Can anyone explain what's going on here? Im totally confused out of my mind here!" I said frustrated by their behaviour.

"Dad first you tell me why is this person here?" Asked annabeth.

"I wanted to introduce you two. Matt has developed a liking towards you and i though you two could be a thing since he is a good guy and i like him."i said in a fatherly tone.

"Oh hell no!" Percy whisper-yelled to himself. His jaw was clenched and the anger made his eyes look like a stormy ocean.

"Dad why would you think that?" Annabeth said.

"I just want you to be happy. I thought you would be happy to get a boyfriend like Matt once you get to know him"i replied.

"You know what!? Stop interfering in my life. I am fully capable of getting myself a boyfriend and FYI i have a boyfriend. I am in LOVE with him and only him." She said.

"Oh really who is he? Some loser that goes to your school? Listen babe if you date me you can brag about me all you want, I'm quite well known in NY." Matt said in a cocky tone with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Well he is not a loser. He doesn't go to my school and he is a kind of celebrity in new York. So i would suggest you shut your trap before he crushers you like a bug" Annabeth said with a smirk of confidence.

"Who is it Annabeth?" I asked.

"Well he is in front of you guys. Percy is my boyfriend. He is the youngest Olympic swimmer ever. So he's well known." She said staring at percy.

"But Annabeth he is a bad boy he is not good for you. He has tattoos on his arm. He will use you and then leave you for good." I said.

"Percy is the last person i expect to leave me and Matt is the first. I know percy for years now and i trust him with my life. I don't want you to make such remarks about my boyfriend anymore than you have already." She said in an angry tone. Before i could say anything percy cut me off.

"Mr. Chase, if you think i am not good enough for annie then fine but just to clear things up, Matt is also not good enough if i say so myself. I know you don't believe me, but you will believe me once you give me a chance to show you something​."he said.

I thought about it and reluctantly nodded.

He lead me towards Annabeth's room and waved his hand in the air. Suddenly a cloud of mist appeared and i looked at percy in disbelief.

"I'm a son of posiedon." He said

"Oh" was all i could say.
Then he began some chanting in greek i suppose ( he is praying to iris)

Then the mist cleared and we could see images. It was kinda like a video.

"Mr. Chase, this is a iris message that demigods use to connect with each other. It will show you how good of a guy Matt is."he said.

What i saw left me speechless. Matt was indeed bullying percy for something. They looked a lot younger. Many more scenes were displayed before me.

"Now you believe me Mr. Chase don't you."he said.
"But that doesn't prove that you are good enough for my daughter" i said.

Then he again started chanting.
But this time a girl appeared.
"Percy, you have used your favour. Now you have to give a drachma." The girl said.

"Oh come on fleecy. Annabeth has all the drachmas and she is not here. Help me or else let me speak to iris herself." Percy said.

Then the image shimmered and you could see many people sitting in thrones. My eyes widened as i realised this must be the olympians!

Then a man pointed towards us and we got everyone's attention.

"Hey percy! How are you boy!" A man that seemed to glow asked.

"I'm good Apollo! I just wanted to speak to iris here if y'all don't mind?" He said casually.

I was about to pass out i guess.

"Of course percy. And say hi to annie for me will ya?" Said Apollo.

Great now even the gods call her annie!

"Of course"percy smiled and said.

"No hello to your​ dad son?" A man who i think is Poseidon asked.

"Hello to you too dad and every one else" percy replied.
"Anyway i wanted to speak to iris. Iris can you let me access the im without drachmas actually i ran out of them." He said

"Of course percy" she replied.

Then he showed me his journey as a demigod and what not. I must say i am impressed.

I gave him my approval and we headed downstairs.
I saw Annabeth looking very  uncomfortable and Matt was too close to Annabeth for my liking.
Percy went and scooped Annabeth in his arms and sat in her seat pulling her on his lap.

"Matt i have to tell you something" i said.
"I don't think so you should be seeing my daughter."
He looked shocked and was about to say something but percy cut him off.

"Get out Matt. It was not a pleasure meeting​ you."and threw Matt out of the house.

I asked annabeth for hee forgiveness and after a lot of persuasion from percy she forgave me.
I can't thank god for that. Finally me and my daughter are togeather again..
