Thalia, one of my best hunters had just quit, she had left no reason at all yet I knew it would come sooner or later but not now. Thalia is a loyal hunter but I knew from Apollo that she would not last forever in my hunters vow. Thalia was destined to fall in love with someone Aphrodite had said and now I think that it might be true. In the after noon at around 1.00pm Thalia came to me, distressed,clear tears coming down her face and hands shaking in disappointment in herself. Thalia never cries I had thought, but know I think of it, love might be the answer to Thalia's sudden appearance. "I need to quit." Thalia said voice sad, angry, distressed and happy at the same time, these emotions it seemed that she had bottled them up and up until she couldn't handle it and had bursted it out on this day.
"I need to quit." Thalia said again ,this time with those emotions but more firmly. " Thalia do you have reason for quitting?" I had asked genuinely confused at this sudden need. "I need to quit "she had repeated again and again until I gave into this very weird need. Immediately as I said that she was off, running to the gods know where and disappearing into the distance. I sighed "I need a new lieutenant"
Before going on normally in the hunters many questioned where Thalia was yet my simple yet powerful reply was, "She quit" before walking away to my next group of newbies to train.

The next day I decided to check on Thalia, she still hadn't given me reason so I intended to find it myself. I looked through a sphere holding all memories and present things of all people before zeroing out Thalia. What I found was certainly expected yet unexpected at the same time. She was nothing like the day before she was happy and smiling, holding hands with that Nico Di Angelo Hades boy. Yet this was the first time I had seen him smile too. This was the reason that Thalia had not said yesterday. Love had made her give up the eternal maiden life and (Maybe Nico is Bi?) Nico be out of the dark shadows of life even though his dad was death and the underworld. They were happy and I could see that so I dismissed the idea of visiting them at CHB they were happy and that was fine, if one of my ex-hunters was happy I am happy too. I am simply not happy about Aphrodite squealing behind me giggling "Thalico! Thalico! What next, Ah I now TRATIE!!" All the time about the couple.
