63. The Great Minecraft Migration (1/2)
3RD PERSON POV
Chris: So you're aware we're not what we seem....us players of a different world. Us players that are not of this world. But we want to help you all, we want to help this world.
He went on with a long speech, talking about his motivation.
Chris: We are the light that stands against the darkness. Only we can-
Hank: Mind if I speak with you all?
Hank appears out from a portal, causing some to pick up weapons though he held his hands up.
Hank: Have you heard of the Great Minecraft Migration?
Fox: What's that?
Hank: Millions of mobs are migrating into another world as you heard from the rumors. A world where they can live peacefully...a world where everyone can get along with each other.
He brings out a device from his pocket, shocking the players that he had pockets before showing a hologram of Remnant.
Thesamus64: It's....big.
Hank: The world of Remnant. A world where humans and other species can live together with ease. The rules of this world can apply to you here....with much more benefits. More food, supplies...a different system which everyone can thrive on.
He describes the wonders of Remnant, all of them listening in awe as BBQ steps out the portal with Fuzzy.
Fuzzy: IF YOU WANT TO JOIN NOW, GO AHEAD!
BBQ: But we would like to assist in efforts to escort those suffering like the villagers to be safe here in this world.
Hank: So what is your response?
WillieBear123: It seems too good to be true....at least I won't lose my items as much I guess.
Chris: My answer is-
Later
Grave: So somewhere out there....people from a different world....a world beyond our universe....beyond even us players....and it seems as if everyone is sentient...all mobs, villagers, and more want to escape this world.
The revelation that these villagers and mobs could actually relate to humans and all...can actually interact with those from the other world was earth shattering to them all. They can interact with humans for Christ's sake. Their player avatars can interact with actual humans in another world like them...a world that isn't a game.....suddenly, Minecraft wasn't a game anymore. Now, it was about self aware people and mobs that wanted to flee from the hell they were in.
Grave: 'At this rate....this game isn't even a game anymore. That must've sunk into everyone's mind.'
???: What do we do?
Grave: The villagers......attacking them is like attacking people like us.....but we have to take them down because they want to take over Minecraft.
???: What if we meet those trying to escape?
Grave: Let them escape. They are of no harm to us.
They watched some villagers hop into a portal with joy before Hank closes it and runs away.
Grave: But I'm curious to see....what is the other side of those portals like?
Later
Illager King:.......Interesting....
Blue Demon: To the players we are nothing but code in a game. A game where they can do whatever they want. As long as they exist, our world is treated like their playground with a few exceptions. They are volatile, distrustful, greedy in nature....they can die and respawn without any problem, while we die permanently.
Illager King: It seems as if you're running away from what you seek.
Blue Demon: I seek the preservation of everything. No more being controlled by the gods, no more deaths.....everyone can live.
Illager King: And you believe this is the best way?
Blue Demon: I am certain this is the best way. Other ways would require intense war and bloodshed.
Illager King: This world is very much a lost cause then....to just be a game to the users, just code that can get deleted anytime. Tell me Blue Demon......how can I help in the unification and migration of Minecraft?
Blue Demon: Y/N and his brother are quite knowledgeable in the transition to the new world. I'll call them here.
He brings out a scroll, confusing the Illager as he calls for Y/N.
Blue Demon: A device of another world that can help you communicate even if you're hundreds of kilometers away.
Illager King: That.....I have to admit is very useful.
Later
Russel: W-Wait! Don't leave this world!
Blue Demon: I refuse. A gift from the gods is not worth it compared to fixing our fractured world. As long as we are standing, time is wasted as our world is ripped apart.
Despite Russel's pleading, more and more villagers and mobs are beginning to leave the world, players assisting in the efforts of the migration with millions of ores and such gathered and transported to Remnant where the world was beginning to change.
Blue Demon: Russel.....you were like a father to us. However, I refuse to have my fate decided by the selfish gods.....to have our lives destroyed by them. This is the only way to truly help everyone....to transport all that is in Minecraft to a different world.....free from the shackles of what binds us to an unstable server or whatever.
Russel: I........
Blue Demon: Tell me, how are the gods treating this situation?
Russel:.....Herobrine understands everyone's concern and reason.
Blue Demon: *surprised* Really?
Russel: Dinnerbone is worried about the practicality and effectiveness of the migration but is on board. Entity303 is iffy but Jeb isn't happy. Notch understands your purpose and does want his creation to give him a second chance but is content with what's going on.
Blue Demon: A second chance is one too much.
Russel: But.....perhaps I can maybe explore the other world? I want to see for myself what's happening.
Blue Demon nods his head before opening a portal to cross to Remnant where landmasses were popping out from the ground, the planet growing bigger in size due to the absence of the gods.
Later
Jimmy: I never thought such things can add more flavor to food!
Fuzzy: Sauce? Spices? THEY ALL MAKE THINGS BETTER!
BBQ: LOOK AT IT! YOU CAN MIX INGREDIENTS OF ALL THINGS INTO AN AMAZING DISH
Mobs and villagers quickly learned the earth-shattering revelation of ingredients to enhance the flavor of dishes combined with their relatively quick way of cooking food. Ever since, they've been trading for cooking ingredients from the other kingdoms to the south and east. Cooking however, became harder despite their own laws of reality and it quickly became apparent that food now had to be cooked a specific way to be good. Still, this didn't stop anyone from learning how to make food good, and they took the time to do so.
Glaive: This world.....it's perfect for refuge.
Eri: Mister would you like a drink?
He turns to find Eri holding a cup of coconut juice to him as he takes it before drinking.
Glaive: Such an exquisite taste. Refreshing too. What is it?
Eri: Coconut juice. What are you doing here mister? You're not like the others.
Glaive: I'm merely observing. But....it's a shock to see different universes out there with such diversity...and some conflicts, but it doesn't matter.
Eri: Oh........do you want to play?
Glaive:......Sure?
Mustard: Yes YES! WE CAN FINALLY ACHIEVE PEACE BETWEEN US ALL!
Mustard was celebrating from a distance, seeing the players assisting in the migration along with mobs and villagers as he ate a load of delicious snacks and sharing them with the golems.
Glaive: 'I am very pleased with this...maybe I, a god can move here.'
Later
Red villager: Impossible.....there's.....a world where they can be at peace? Mobs, villagers...those that are like the players, like those controlling them...they can be at peace?
HVillager: Apparently so. I heard great news about the other world. It's resources, fresh products, food......it's possible.
Red Villager: But....then our plans-
HVillagers: The players.....they all view this as a game, that we are at their mercy. They can respawn as much as they want while we permanently die off. But if we are to go to a world where the people are like those controlling the players.......to see who they really are behind that "game" they play....this might be our best opportunity to escape.
Red Villager:.......
HVillager: You have your doubts don't you? The strange looking...non-human was quite persuasive...I saw their world, it's....beautiful.
He had a glint in his eyes as his follower struggled to speak some words, shocked at how many villagers wanted to move to the other world.
HVillager: 'Their resources are unlike anything I've seen....'
Later
Blue Demon: 'Do you want peace? Do you want a world where you can finally be at peace?'
He asked himself this as he overlooked the construction of an entire city, not just a settlement but city in a large patch of land.
Blue Demon: 'Wonderful......but what about the economy? Yeah....there's business, economy, currency...Ah I need to learn.'
He teleported to Vale, wanting to learn about how Remnant functions to help with the process while things were going underway.
