Y/N woke up to a lot of noises and cursing from the other room. He carefully removes his girlfriends' hands off of him and gets up to open the door, coming across Roberta shaking around on her bed and muttering out pleas.

Y/N: Roberta?

Her body stiffens as she calms down. Y/N walks to her side and checks to see if she is ok-

*BAM*

Y/N quietly stood still, accepting the fist to his face. Roberta wakes up, her bloodshot eyes glaring at Y/N before turning onto her side.

Roberta: Go away.

Y/N: I heard you from the other bedroom. I just wanted to make sure you're alright-

Roberta: Just leave me alone.....please.....

Seeing how she was still shaking Y/N placed his hand on her shoulder but notices how Roberta flinches from the mere contact.

Roberta: Please...just leave.

Y/N: Roberta.....its fine.

He reaches out, slowly brushing her hair aside to look at her blue eyes.

Y/N: No one is coming. You'll be safe here Roberta. Trust me....I won't hurt you.....

Still staring at him, her breath eases as she slowly melts to the hand against her cheek. Y/N leans down, giving her a kiss to the forehead and earning a quiet gasp before getting up and leaving the room, leaving her to sleep peacefully that night.

Later

Schubert: Oh the disgrace of it all! How could such a rebellious monster so weak emerge from our own family!

Paimon: Things are starting to get hysterical here. Politeness and elegance seem to have gone out the window.

Eula: *panic* You two take him a-away. The honorary knight *panic* and I have matters to attend to.

As the knights took Schubert away Lumine and Paimon quickly checks on Eula who was starting to panic a bit.

Paimon: Uh you don't look so good.

Lumine: *concerned* Eula are you alright?

Eula: *calm down* I'm fine traveler. Please give me some time to myself.

Paimon: *concerned* Are you sure?

Eula didn't say anything as she hurriedly walks out of the hideout. Making her way to a tree she leans back, taking some deep breaths as a tear runs down her face.

Eula: *sniff* Goddamnit. Why did I lose control for a second?

Eula: *teary* Why am I pretending to be strong when I'm so weak?

Later

Velvet: Are........you ok?

Roberta: *rubs head* I'm fine.

Taking a day of break from training, everyone gathers around in Good Hunter to eat lunch although Eula, Roberta, and Revy seemed to be out of it at the moment.

Hank: You all alright?

Yang: *tired* I'm dying........

Jaune: *tired* I can't feel my legs.......

Fox: *shiver* I thought I died so many times.....I even saw the light.

Ruby: But at least we learned a lot right?

Yang: *shiver*!Yeah sis.........

Ruby: *pout* Don't be so down Yang. Since we got a day to rest let's get to know each other more!

Weiss: *mumble* You dolt. *tired* I just want to rest.......

Ruby: Huh?

Weiss: *tiredi Nothing.

Ruby: Now that I know a lot about you all let's hear from you two!

She points to Eula and Roberta as they both looked at her, irritated of the constant chatter.

Ruby: What do you two like to do on your spare time?

Eula: *mentally exhausted* Reconnaissance and training. I have no time for such frivolous pastimes.

Roberta:...........serving...killing.......

Ruby: *wince* Ok............is there anything happy?

Eula: Like sparring with the grandmaster?

Roberta: *mumble* I don't remember.

Ruby: *flinch* It can't be that bad can it?

Roberta slams her fist onto the table cracking it as Ruby jumps.

Roberta: *annoyed* Can't be that bad huh?

Yang: Hey! What's the deal with you?!

Roberta: Tell your sister to just leave me alone!

Ruby: I'm just trying to get to know you better.

Roberta: I don't need to tell you anything.

Ruby: But-

Roberta: YOU WON'T FUCKING UNDERSTAND!

The situation begins to escalate as CVFY and JNPR joins in.

Jaune: O-Ok! Let's calm down everyone-

Coco: Hey now.....Roberta calm do-

Roberta: Chill? I am chill.

Weiss: Look Roberta you're always so aggressive these past days! We're trying to be nice here so tell us! What's wrong?!

Roberta: *angry* Like what?! Like how you had to kill people from when you're just 14 every day?! Like how you had to fight every hour, every day, and every week to not die?! Like how you have no freedom, no rights, nothing?! Like how you're tortured and raped every day with nowhere to run?! Like how you wish it could all end but YOU JUST CAN'T KILL YOURSELF?! FUCKING TELL ME WHO HAS THE SHITTIER LIF-

*THUD*

They look to see the table Y/N was sitting at breaking under his fist. His breathing was erratic once more, his body trembling as he shakily gets up.

Hank: 'Damnit not again!'

Ruby: *worry* Y-Y/N are you alright?

Y/N: I-I need to leave now....

He turns around, walking quickly through the streets.

Ruby: Y-Y/N I'm sorry! I-

Y/N: *growl* Leave me alone....

Yang: Y/N she's apologizing alright? M-

Y/N: I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!

They all reel away in shock seeing Y/N walking away, trembling as if he was about to have another panic attack.

Yang: Nevermind....*hands on head* Fuck I shouldn't have told him....

Hank: *sigh* This is becoming more frequent....he's getting more panic attacks day by day....

Coco: Huh....*worryI Let's go look for him then.

Everyone: YEAH!

They all stood up before running out to search for Y/N, knowing what he is feeling as of now.

Roberta: Hank is it?

Hank: Yeah.

Roberta had a sad look on her face, knowing what may have upsetted Y/N.

Roberta: *down* Was he upset about what I said?

Hank: Yeah.......what you said reminded him of his trauma.

Eula: Trauma?

Eula walks from behind a hiding spot before sitting next to them all.

Eula: What trauma?

BBQ: Torture. The worst kind you can go through.

Eula gasps at his response as BBQ continues on.

Velvet: B-BBQ....does he have like.....

BBQ: He was tortured only a little more than a few years ago. Severe case of PTSD, depression....he even has severe abandonment issues.

Bernadette: He has......abandonment issues?

BBQ: Before he had his powers he lost his parents...and everyone abandoned him, even family. He's gone through a lot of stress because of what.

Blake: I know he went through so much but..........what did he even go through?

Hank: *sigh* It's not my place to say it. Even thinking about it makes me uncomfortable....especially when I looked into his mind.

This worries them greatly. They knew Hank's past as a killing machine and saying this makes him uncomfortable shows how bad Y/N must have had it. They knew how much this affected him.....to be robbed of everything and tortured to the point of insanity.....but the extent of what he went through?.....They need to know if he's alright.

Hank: And there's a reason why he hates talking about anything that happened years ago. Why he trained so hard when I was with him that he nearly died many times. Why he hates being weak. I don't want to ruin it for him....but you're the only people he might open up to at the moment.

Eto: *worried* Let's go get him then.

Velvet: Yeah.......

They get up, paying for their meal before walking away to find Y/N.

Later

Y/N: It's so bright.

???: Are you done yet Y/N~ It's soooo brightttttt....

He stood on Starsnatch cliff looking down upon the land below. The breezy wind that soothed many walking by only aggravated him, reminding him of his pain. He looks down into his hands, only seeing blood.....his blood.....his sins.......his failure.

Y/N: There's so much blood.

???: Failure....absolutely pathetic excuse of a dog~

Y/N: Why was I so weak?

??!: Ready for Day 16~

Y/N: I couldn't save you.

???: H-help...Y/N

*STAB*

Y/N: Was I not meant to be there?

???: C-CHELSEA!

???: You shouldn't have come here.

Y/N: Am I not strong enough?

???: Pathetic.

Y/N: Tell me.

???: You failed to save them all Y/N~ Now you watch~

Y/N: *cry* TELL ME!!!!!!!!

He screams out into the sky in desperation and sadness but receives nothing in response, only the gentle breeze. For a moment he stood there crying in silence as the winds blew in his direction.

Y/N: *sob* Why is it so unfair? Why do I had to suffer? I-I just wanted peace....t-to finally have the l-love I've always wanted.....why did I had to suffer?! WHY?!!!!!!

He sits there, crying at the horrid memories surfacing in his head as he looks down.

???: Y/N?

He rubs his puffy, red eyes and turns to find Eto, Revy, Bernadette, Velvet, Blake, Eula, and Roberta standing there behind him, concerned for his well-being.

Y/N: *sniff* W-What?

Velvet, Blake, Eto, and Bernadette were about to cry at how broken Y/N sounded as he shakily got up.

Blake: Can....we talk for a moment?

Eula: We just want to make sure you're ok.

Y/N: *sniff* F-Fine...

Y/N begrudgingly sits down onto the grassy ground as everyone gathers around him, with Eula surprisingly wrapping an arm around him to try and comfort his trembling form.

Y/N: *sniff* I'm sorry for running.

Eto: *pat* It's ok.

Y/N: *sniff* What is it that you want to know?

Roberta: Why....did you panic when I mentioned about myself?

Y/N's face darkens for a bit, his fists clenched as they all feared the worst.

Y/N: *sniff* Y-You're not the only one with a traumatic experience.

Bernadette: Trauma......

Velvet: What happen?

Y/N: Are you sure you want to listen to what I'm about to say? It's not pretty at all.

Blake: Please......

Revy: *worried* You're not the only one that has to go through some traumatic experiences you know.

Y/N: *tremble* Listen carefully.

They all listened, intent on knowing what he's going to say.

Story

Y/N: I once went into this world for an entire year. A despot ruled over an entire continent and their land is know as The Capital. I was unfortunate enough to find myself in an assassin group known as Night Raid. Their goal was to whittle down and kill the corruption kept lingering by the empire.

Bernadette: Rebels....it's a revolution!

Y/N: Back then I was already used to killing and I hated the corruption in the Capital so naturally I joined the assassins. To be honest they were all good people. They had their own ideals and wrongdoings but they only wanted what was best. I became friends with all of them and I have to admit fell in love with one of them. Her name...was Akame.

Y/N shows them all a half-burnt photo that he had of her.

Eto: We met before...she's pretty sweet.

Revy: Why didn't you say anything about her?

Y/N:..................*teary* I-I-

Roberta: No need. Please go ahead if it's hard to say.

Y/N: We weren't on the same page at first. But as we got to know each other more, we figured out our connections. We got to know about ourselves and eventually we were both together. Fought the empire's minions and corrupted noblemen. We did so many things together. It was great despite losing many of our closest allies. Things were going great.

Revy: *smirk* Damn. Who knew you were an expert at assassination.

Y/N: That is until THAT day. The strongest of the empire was a general by the name of Esdeath. She had control over ice and was a one man army. The revolution decided to send 100,000 soldiers against her including all of Night Raid.

Bernadette: *shock* A hundred thousand soldiers for just one person?!

Y/N: *chuckle* She was that strong. It came to a point where everyone died. My friends, compadres, everyone. All that was left was me and Akame fighting against her. It was just one brief moment. When Akame had her sword to her heart ready to kill her I interrupted her in an attempt to kill Esdeath myself....my own hubris...*chuckle* Hehe......

Eula: And you failed......

Y/N: Because of me, Esdeath took the opportunity of distraction to knock Akame out. Despite everything all it took was one mistake to cost the battle. And after that.......after that.......

Y/N began to breathe heavily, his tears falling but stops as the girls hug him in an attempt to calm him down.

Y/N: Instead of execution, the emperor thought it would be best to keep us alive to make us suffer. Unfortunately he sentenced us to be prisoners with THAT general......she........

Tears began running down his face, Eula's hug tightening as he holds back a sob.

Y/N: She tortured us both for a year with the help of her men and Night Raid revived. Whipped us, cut us up, ran experiments with chemicals and acid, put us on several torture machines, beaten us around, broke our bones, stabbed us continuously......anything you could think of.

He held his hand up, pointing out two fingers.

Y/N: Two hours. That's all the relief I get. Midnight, 30 minutes when her men switch out. From 0:30 to 6:00 it's teigu testing. There's continuous stabbing, continuous burning, continuous freezing, organ harvesting. 6:00-6:30 is the time it takes for Esdeath to arrive at the dungeon. From 6:30 to 12:00 it's mostly stabbing but she has a lot....A LOT of tools to get creative with. She.....likes skinning me over and over again............sometimes she uses a teigu to make it seem like it's been a year when it's actually been an hour. From 12:00 to 12:30 she takes a break from torturing me before using a teigu that enhances the pain you feel......it goes up to 1000 x. It.....hurts...it hurts to even talk....it's like all the nerves in your body are fried..........12:30 to 18:00 it's us being put on the torture machines....us being mauled apart by danger beasts before being healed over and over again....though it's just Akame being healed......liquid acid and iron poured into my mouth....melting over and over again......18:30 to midnight it's your typical water boarding.......electrical shocking......all of the above....being beaten down....poisoned.....Esdeath always uses that Teigu to mentally torture me and project my worst nightmares.......sometimes what they do switch around and change.....*teary* I-

He lets out some tears as they all hug him.

Y/N: *teary* D-Do you understand w-what it's like to be tortured....ripped apart...a-and you can't even sleep or rest for an e-entire year when y-you need to? 22 hours a day....3 times a week she uses that Teigu so one hour is like a year for me.....*crying* 1-157 f-fucking y-years....157 FUCKING YEARS!

Eto: *teary* 1-157 years...

Eula: W-What k-kind of psychopath is she?!

Y/N: And that's not the worst part of it all. You see this?

Y/N pulls out a knife and stabs himself in the chest as Eula and Roberta call for him to stop. They both watch in shock though as his wound heals in seconds.

Y/N: My healing doesn't come with consequences.

Revy: You mean.........

Y/N suddenly begins to laugh as everyone was disturbed at his behavior. However after a few seconds tears begin running down his face as he continues laughing.

Y/N: *laughing* I-I can feel it all. Every cut, every slice, every stab into my skin. I-I can feel my limbs torn apart, my organs rupturing, and my bones breaking. She knew this and she tortured me continuously without stopping, occasionally swapping in for some guards when she gets tired. Y-You try to sleep only for the torture to continue. E-Even then she was using a t-teigu to mess with my mind! I-Instead of an h-hour it literally felt like a year and pain enhancers even.....

Y/N: *crying* I-I thought I was going to go insane. I-I don't even c-care about the pain anymore. I-I can't even feel pain!

Everyone was shocked at the revelation listening to his crying as he bawls his eyes out.

Y/N: *crying* A-And in a-addition even t-though I-I can heal fast scars can be made if done repeatedly......

He points his trembling hand to his neck.

Y/N: 350 repeated stab wounds in 10 minutes....repeated removal of trachea and spine.....injected 2500 mEq of potassium chloride...

He points to the numerous amount of scars, listing how he got each one.....how he remembered each one. At this point all the girls were in tears, shocked and horrified at the inhumane torture that Y/N went through.

What Y/N revealed next though really horrified them all.

Blake: T-There can't be more r-right?

Y/N: I did say Akame was with me right?

Eto: Yeah you di-

She stopped talking and her eyes widen.

Y/N: She made me watch as she tortured Akame continuously. I could still remember her cries, her pleas for me to help to this very day. *chuckle* I couldn't do anything except stand there and watch. I was too weak to do anything. *cry* I-I couldn't save her!

Velvet: I-Is that it?

Y/N: No. After 6 months, she came in 4 other male guards. She didn't torture that day but just......made me watch........as they......

Y/N wipes the tear from his face and continues on.

Y/N: they raped her.

Roberta: *horrified* I-

Bernadette: How....can they do such a thing?!

Y/N: At this point she wasn't torturing me as much as she did. But every day she would make me watch as her guards would have their way with Akame. For hours, days, I couldn't even do anything. I could only watch her yell, screaming for them to stop, yelling for me to help, with blood pooling below from how much they were hurting her.

He lets out a chuckle, remembering the experience.

Y/N: Esdeath.....that bitch.......s-she took my first too.......s-so many times I told her to s-stop.....she raped me and tortured me along with Akame.....

Blake: *horrified* N-No........

Y/N: I-I wanted to help but I couldn't do anything. Eventually, one day after Esdeath was done doing her session with me, Akame stopped moving. Like she was too exhausted to do anything after a month. Like.....she broke. *chuckle* And so like that, Esdeath lost interest in her.......

Y/N: And slit her throat in front of my eyes.

At this point everyone was shocked and speechless at what happened. Velvet and Blake were fighting not to tear up while everyone else stood frozen in horror.

Revy:.....'THAT BITCH!'

Bernadette: 'I-I never thought there would be this much darkness within you.'

Eto: 'Why did you have to suffer so much.....anyone would go insane to what you went through....

Y/N: *laugh* HEH. I still remember that moment when Esdeath laughed as I held Akame's dying body. A part of me broke. Like the last shred of humanity I had ceased to exist. That....was the first time I.....I just snapped. I completely lost it.

Velvet: Y-You lost it?

Y/N pulls out a recorder from a portal before he taps a button.

???: Soldiers, rebels, and townsfolk died by the millions. No one survived, not a single soul was found. The Capital became the setting for the most tragic massacre of the Empire's Era and in addition, was its downfall. Even after a year, it's said a demon lurks the continent that the Empire has once ruled, waiting for any unfortunate soul to unleash its anger upon. No army has been willing to trespass on the burnt, obliterated shell that was once the Empire as they fear ITS wrath.

*BEEP*

Y/N: She didn't even stood a chance. I tore through her body in seconds and slammed the guards through the stone walls, splattering the bodies where. For the next days, it's hazy but.......I went through the entire capital killing everyone in my way. There was so much blood and bodies stained onto ruined buildings. I didn't stop....I was so angry...I broke down.....I didn't stop till nearly a hundred million people died.

Everyone: HUNDRED MILLION?!

Y/N: By the time I calmed down, The Empire was all in flames. No one was left alive. I just stood there in the middle of it all with no hope, knowing that all this killing will never bring her back. *crying* Bring Akame back.......

Y/N then raises his arm and summons a sword that he kept from before to this very day.

Y/N: I buried her body where we first met. The only thing I kept from that world before leaving was her Murasame.......her own bloodstained weapon....

Story End

Y/N finally finishes his story and stood up. Everyone took a moment to process the horror that Y/N had to go through before he speaks again.

Y/N: So now you know why I kill so much. Why I got so strong. Why I was afraid of visiting you Eto. Why I protected you all. Why I get so angry when one of you gets hurt. Why I hate being lonely. Now you know that I'm just an emotionally unstable human being who committed mass genocide who can snap at any moment. I had lots of regrets and lots of sins I committed. Let me ask you a question. Despite now knowing everything,

Y/N: Would you still love me for who I am?

*CRICKETS*

Y/N: *sad chuckle* I see. I'll be leaving now.

And just like that Y/N turned around and walked awa-

*GRAB*

Revy: Y/N.

Y/N:.......

Revy: *deep breath* Look, I know that we had our shittiest moments. Even though you may be emotionally unstable or a mass genocide maniac. Even though you're not perfect..........

Revy: You're still the same idiot I love.

Revy emphasizes her point by pulling him in for a kiss, but this time it was soft, soothing to the touch. She closes her eyes, hugging him to feel his warmth. After a while she lets go of him as he stares ahead.

Y/N: You.......still love me despite knowing what I did?

Revy: Of course I do. Because of you I can move on from my past.

Velvet: You never judged me for being a Faunus.

Blake: You saved me from my ex-boyfriend...

Eto: You helped me through the nightmare. You helped unite the ghouls...and made peace with CCG.

Bernadette: You saved me from a literal Hellclown and my superior archangel and won the approval of God. You.....showed me what it's like to be human....you helped me be my real self.....

Y/N stood there for a moment as they all wait for his response when he raises his arms up.

Y/N: *tremble* C-Can I?

They all move in for a hug with Y/N standing still, feeling the warmth of his lovers.

Y/N: *hug* Thank you.

He unintentionally stuffs his face into Bernadette's breasts though she merely pats his head, smiling at how he was accepting their affection. They all separate minutes later before he turns to Eula and Roberta who stood there.

Y/N: I understand if you're uncomfortable with what I said but I-

*THUD*

Y/N's back rested onto a nearby tree, unmoving as Roberta kisses him passionately. Letting her tongue into his mouth, they both made out under the sunset with everyone else smirking while Eula looked aghast but blushed at the sight.

Roberta: *pulls back* Y/N. I don't care if you had the blood of innocent people on your hands. I do too. Even though I met you just recently will you allow me to indulge in this......polygamous relationship of yours?

Y/N: *nod* I do.

And just like that they both kissed again......until Eula taps her shoulder.

Eula: You got your turn already now let me have mine!

Roberta raises a brow but removes herself from Y/N as Eula dives in for a kiss. It was much more intense however until Y/N turns and pins her to the tree as she lets out a muffled yelp into his mouth. He kisses her again, caressing her face as she eventually eases into it.

Y/N: *pulls back* How was that?

Eula: *RED* Y-you fiend!

Y/N: *whisper* You liked it though didn't you?

Eula pushes herself off of Y/N and dusts herself, clearly flustered but......happy.....

Eula: Hmph...seeing as you have another girlfriend, may I join this polygamous relationship of yours?

Y/N: Certainly. *smile* Shall we head back now?

And so they walked back to Mondstadt sharing their most vulnerable secrets along the way and finally contempt with themselves.

Later

Signers: Ah...how pathet-

Y/N: BEGONE THOT!

*BOOM*

Y/N holds her chin and throws her into the night sky, her body disappearing in a matter of seconds. All the fatui agents and mages immediately teleport away knowing what Y/N was capable of.....though some wanted to at least hang out with him.

Ruby: Y/N!

RWY, JNPR, and CFY all run up to Y/N who quickly steLs a loaf of bread from a fatui bag.

Y/N: Yes.....*smile+!I'm back......

Pyrrha: You're alright.

Weiss: Look we won't press on how you reacted. We're just glad you're ok.

Just then Yang notices the two standing close to Y/N and lets out a smirk.

Yang: *smirk* Hey Y/N......you got 2 other girls?

Diluc and Kaeya spat out their drinks as Jean stumbles back in shock.

Y/N: *chuckle* Yeah.

As they all talk amongst themselves Eula walks up to Jean who greets her.

Eula: Grandmaster Jean! May I be excused from my duty early?

Jean: Certainly? But why may I presume?

Eula: I would like to spend some time with Y/N.

Kaeya: You sure about this?~

Eula: I am certain.

Jean: *smirk* Very well then. Go get him.

And just like that Eula runs after the group who made their way to the hotel.

Later

Y/N: *yawn* I am emotionally exhausted.....but it's all for the best.

After changing and brushing his teeth, Y/N lays onto the clean bed exhausted.....as Roberta stood next to him.

Y/N: You can sleep in the other room if you want......

Roberta: No no it's fine. *nervous* It's just.......

Seeing that she was unsure on this Y/N pats the mat besides him. She tentatively lays besides him as he wraps an around her waist.

Y/N: Just relax.........

Roberta closes her eyes and relaxes into his touch. Seeing that she was at peace, Eula wraps her arms around Y/N as well, already changed and dressed in her night gown.

CLONE

2 clones appear, laying on the bed as everyone cuddles around them with Velvet finally blowing the candle out, leaving everyone in total darkness.

Y/N: Good night.

Eula: Hmmm....good night.

Everyone: *smile* Good night Y/N.

And without a word, Y/N sleeps soundly with his arms over Roberta as Eula hugs his waist with everyone else hugging either him or his clones.

For the first time everyone had no regrets. No nightmares. It's peaceful and relaxing.......for now.

Yes I'm going with the dark version of if the Empire won in Akame ga Kill with Y/N.
