Massive shockwaves tore apart the land of darkness, grimm and mountains alike being sliced into millions of pieces as two gods can be seen swinging at each other with unrelenting fury.

DOL: H-HOW?!

*BOOM*

He swings an overhand blow with his blade as Y/N counters with a fiery side slash, blocking the blade as they pushed against each other.

DOL: HOW IS A MORTAL LIKE YOU CONTESTING WITH ME?!

Y/N:.....The flame burns ever so brightly....even as I absorbed it in its entirety.

*BOOM*

Y/N slides his flaming blade to the side, dodging a blast and catching him by surprise as he swung his sword wildly. The fiery AOE engulfs the god in flames while his godly flesh was burnt with each slash delivered before he raises his blade and-

*BOOM*

Stabs the ground, a massive explosion of pure flame engulfing the entire forest miles and miles in radius and blasting DOL straight into the sky.

*CLANG*

DOL could barely bring out the relic of Creation and erect a barrier before Y/N appears in front of him and swings his sword, the fiery shockwave bouncing off the barrier-

*SHATTER*
*SLICE*

The second hit shatters the barrier, the shockwave slicing DOL across his face as he roars in pain.

DOL: WHY WON'T!

*BOOM*

A massive fist of pure dark energy emerges from the sky, striking Y/N and sending him flying towards the ground as he lands on his two armored feet.

DOL: YOU DI-

*BOOM*

The god was sent flying hundreds of miles through the sky by a fiery beam of energy that shot out from Y/N's sword.

Y/N: Requip.

*WHOOSH*

He equips his moonlight blade, charging it up so that the blade glows an ominous green before flying towards DOL who flies towards him as well with his charged sword.

DOL: DIE YOU MORTAL!!!!!

Y/N: Moon Blast

*BOOM*

The resulting explosion shook the entirety of Remnant, every single living being feeling the tremors that shook the ground as half of the Land of Darkness was obliterated by the collision of their blows that sent them flying to the Emerald Forest.

Later

BBQ: S-SHIT! I CAN'T GET NEAR!

Revy: DAMNIT HANK WHY DID YOU GIVE THE IDEA OF FIGHTING YOUR TWO GODS?!

Hank: I DIDN'T KNOW HE WOULD FIGHT THEM WITHOUT US!

Velvet: P-Please stay safe

After seeing Y/N's letter, Y/N's girlfriends and friends frantically head to the nearest bullhead for a one way ticket to the Land of Darkness only for pillars of earth and flames to erupt from the Emerald Forrest. In addition massive shockwaves tore the entire landscape apart, mountains reduced to mere mounds of dust and debris as they struggle to get close to where Y/N is.

Bernadette: I'M GOING IN!

BBQ: AAAAH-

*BOOM*

DOL collides with a tree just 50 meters away from the ground, toppling it down as he draws the Relic of Destruction.

DOL: FACE ME MORTAL!

*BOOM*

Y/N lands onto the ground, still wearing his flaming armor and his face still horribly scarred as he draws a curved blade.

Y/N: So be it.

*BOOM*

He slams his sword onto the ground and DOL hurriedly teleports to the side as a massive pillar of flames erupts from the ground. Charging at each other, they swung their swords, their movements becoming even more erratic unpredictable, and wild as each swing became faster and faster.

*CLANG*

Hank: W-Wait it's that armor! Shit....he's trying to protect us!

Bernadette: P-Protect?

*SLICE*

The purple blade was about to slice at her neck only for Y/N to deflect it away at the last minute before hitting DOL with a savage kick, sending him flying into the air.

*BOOM*

Several afterimages were made, the shockwaves tearing the entire area apart as they appeared in front of the group that was busy with the prospect of trying to not get blown away.

Y/N: I will never....fail my friends anymore.

*BOOM*

His gauntlet smashes against the god's side, causing him to hack up black blood at the damage sustained.

Y/N: I will never let them die anymore....

*BOOM*

He overpowers their clash, grabbing DOL's head before slamming him down, lifting the entire area around them up into the air. DOL tries to get up only for Y/N to stomp his head into the ground, uplifting the earth even further.

Y/N: No matter what it takes.....I will protect them....even with my dying breath........from the likes of a pathetic god like you.

DOL: SHUT UP!

*BOOM*

DOL enlarges his arm before punching up only to miss Y/N.

Y/N: Too slow.

*BOOM*

Y/N uppercuts the god, the shockwave blasting a large hole into the clouds before he extends his arm out and touches the god's chest with the tip of his hand.

Y/N: Give up.

*BOOM*

Unlike the one inch punch Y/N did against Velvet as a training demonstration to her, this punch tore a massive gash into the Emerald Forest, the shockwave obliterating everything: every mountain, tree, and forest within a dozens of miles path while the clouds were split apart on a continental scale. Everyone at the battlefield looks at the destruction in awe, shock, and fear as Y/N turns to them with his cold, indifferent eyes.

Y/N: Leave. It's not safe for you here.

Hank: WHO SAID I CAN LEAVE HUH?! *grin* I'M YOUR FRIEND! WE FOUGHT PLENTY OF GODS BEFORE!

Y/N:..............

Revy: Look Y/N........we can handle ourselves just fine. You got Hank....you got us all to help you.

Y/N: I-I can't lose you...........

They were taken aback by the stuttering of his voice.

EMPOWERING ALL SUBJECTS

Immediately a red glow surrounds everyone, surprising them all as they looked around.

Hank: FUCK YES!

Velvet punches a tree only for the shockwave of her punch to obliterate an entire portion of the area up to a kilometer in length.

Velvet: *happy* OH MY OUM!

BBQ: I-I'M SO FAST!!!!!!

*WOOSH*

BBQ zooms around the place at incomprehensible speeds with excitement. Around him, everyone was testing out their abilities-

DOL: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

*BOOM*

Y/N raises his sword, blocking DOL's swing as the shockwave reduces the entire area into a crater.

DOL: Wait...

DOL stops, seeing the malicious smile on everyone's face as they all prepared their attacks.

DOL:.......'Oh shit-'

Hank: EAT THIS YOU FUCKING BASTARD!

*BOOM*

RIFT FORCEFULLY OPENED

The shockwave shook the entirety of Remnant, all their blows colliding along with Y/N's punch  against DOL with so much force a dimensional rift was forcefully opened as they were all sucked in.

The god roars into the sky, shaking the entirety of Liyue as everyone prepares to initiate the battle on the Jade Chamber.

Paimon: *worry* So will the power of the Qixing, Millelith, and Adepti gathered here be enough to stop that god?

Ningguang looks at her before speaking.

Ningguang: We've already discussed this together and the conclusion is......not necessari-

Osial was suddenly incinerated by a fiery blast of black flame, killing it as it drops down onto the ocean. Shockwaves were seen lighting up the sky, the speeds the combatants were going at too fast to comprehend as they shield themselves from the debris.

Ganyu: T-This is bad! Their battle is shaking Liyue!

Cloud Retainer: *surprised* It appears two......gods are fighting-

*WHOOSH*

Two bodies collide onto the Jade Chamber, revealing DOL as he charges towards Y/N only to get grabbed by the jaw.

Y/N: Burn.

*BOOM*

He slams his armored foot against DOL's torso and a fiery beam of fire explodes outward, lighting up the sky and sending DOL flying through the air.

*BOOM*

He draws a coiled scimitar before flying into the air, heading for DOL as he was sent flying by an electric shockwave courtesy of Hank.

Paimon: W-What the-

Mountain Carver: We must make haste! We are heading to Mondstadt!

Later

Andrius/Dvalin: ACK!

*BOOM*

They shielded every single Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and other archons and representatives though they were injured by a devastating shockwave that tore the lands apart before they all head to the battlefield: destruction that extended for hundreds of miles.

Ei: So it seems there's something going on.

Morax: Like a god fighting?

Pierro: Tsaritsa....*stumble*

Tsaritsa: The ground is shaking.....what kind of Gods still exist with this kind of power?

The head of Asmoday rolls into view, startling all the archons as they back away.

Ei: I-IMPOSSIBLE!

DOL was thrown into the air after being flung by Y/N's greatsword before suddenly slammed into the ground by Hank.

*WHOOSH*

Hank brings out his axe sword before slicing the air, creating several shockwaves that sliced into the fusion's chest. The god grits his teeth though continues to press forward towards Hank as they engaged in brutal combat.

*BOOM*

And Y/N grabs his neck before releasing an explosion that shook the entire kingdom, the clouds blown out of the area instantly. Bernadette kicks the fusion on the side of his head, distracting him as the DOL wails out, trying to knock everyone around him back.

DOL: WHY-

*BOOM*

DOL: WON'T YOU DIE?!

*BOOM*

He swings his sword down, splitting the land only for Y/N to smack him away with his axe sword before they both clashed against each other, pushing their bodies forward.

*SLICE*

Bernadette flies out of nowhere, slicing into DOL's shoulder as he was forced to block two sword wielders while being relentlessly attacked.

Columbina: *awe* 'She's an angel?!'

Murata: 'His flames burn even hotter than mine!'

*BOOM*

Hank's arm enlarges itself, bulging with black, dark muscle before he uppercuts DOL into the sky with an electrical shockwave.

*BANG*

A barrage of eggs and bullets knock DOL away as he flies towards Y/N, reeling his fist back as Y/N does the same.

DOL: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Y/N: PATHETIC!

*BOOM*

An explosion sent everyone flying except for the spectators, Y/N standing in a crater as he took his reformed helmet off to revealed the horrific scars on his face.

Y/N: It......hurts.

*BOOM*

He suddenly raises his blade into the air before stabbing the ground, releasing a massive wave of fiery aura that shook the space around him though he turns to find the spectators watching.

Paimon: EEK! HE'S STARING!

Y/N:......Why does it hurt to live? To suffer from the past? Why does it hurt to be alive despite your sins? I want to be happy......just for it to be peaceful for once.

*STAB*

*BOOM*

A sword stand through his chest though he turns and unleashes an explosion that blasted all of them out the area, the force obliterating what was left of the ruined area they were in.

ENTERING TOKYO

*CLANG*

Y/N slices an abandoned building in half along with the entire empty street as Hank throws DOL into the air.

Velvet: THIS.....IS FOR HURTING MY BOYFRIEND!

*BOOM*

Her fist crackles with electricity as she punches DOL across the face, sending him flying through the air.

Hank: THIS....IS FOR MENTALLY SCARRING HIM!

*BOOM*

Blood....actual blood erupts from DOL's mouth as he was blown straight into the sky.

BBQ: THIS IS FOR THE WASTED HOURS YOU TOOK AWAY FROM MY FUN TIME WITH Y/N!

*BOOM*

BBQ shoves a literal nuclear warhead inside of DOL's mouth as it detonates, causing a burst of radiation to erupt from his mouth.

CLEARING RADIATION

Revy: THIS IS FOR TRYING TO KILL US!

*BOOM*

Revy fires a missile, knocking DOL into the air even further-

Bernadette: THIS IS FOR UPSETTING Y/N!

*BOOM*

Bernadette kicks DOL onto the ground, a big crater forming as the god shakily gets up, his purple glow flickering.

DOL: I-Impossible.....

Y/N: And this........is for all of Remnant.....the sins you've committed while viewing your creation as mere pawns......

*WHOOSH*

Y/N appears in front of DOL only to disappear from his view.

Y/N: It's over.

*SLICE*

*BOOM*

Y/N sheaths his sword, and with a flash DOL explodes into a burst of light. The glow manages to light up the whole night sky, the clear air fresh to the touch as they looked at the beautiful sight.

Hank: Huh..........

BBQ/Revy: Damn......

Bernadette: It's beautiful.......

Velvet: *taking pictures* Woah........

???: Thank you lord of cinder......the Flame will always burn brightly inside of you.....

SOULS STORED INTO MINDSCAPE

Meanwhile Y/N stores his sword away.......and turns to find a whole crowd behind him with their eyes wide open.

They suddenly find themselves surrounded by dozens of the strange figures as Y/N holds his hands out.

Y/N panics and forms a portal before running through with all 4 girls stopping as they looked at each other before they ran after him.

Y/N was hugging all 4 of them tightly, as if he was protective of them as they pat his head.

Revy: Look....we weren't gonna kill each other....

Y/N could only sigh as all 4 girls wrapped their arms around him.

Bernadette: Thank you.....for protecting us.

Revy: Ok let's shut up and sleep. It's already 2 AM!

Revy slams her hand onto the counter besides the bed, shutting everyone up......as they all collapsed against Y/N, exhausted and sleeping.

Eto: *smile* 'Its good to see you again.....Y/N.'

She rubs his hair, seeing the peaceful look on his face.....though her eyes trailed worryingly to the scars on his torso.

Eto: *sad* 'What happened though? What happened in these past 2 years?'
