3RD PERSON POV

Bernadette: *grit* 'I don't understand....WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY ABOUT HIM??'

For the past few weeks she has been visiting Y/N very frequently. But every time she tries to focus on her duty now she keeps thinking about Y/N. The more time she spent with him, the more she felt a connection. The more time she spent with him, the more her heart flutters at the sight of him.

Bernadette: *grit* 'He's just a human! He's annoying....rude......kind.....caring....good looki- GAH!'

She slumps onto a pillar trying to recollect her thoughts but couldn't remove the thought of Y/N from her mind no matter what.

Bernadette: 'Why....*grit* WHY DO I HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM?!'

In the past few centuries, there were a few times where she fell in love. Those few times though, she knew she couldn't be with them because as an archangel...she'll outlive them no matter what. She forced herself to rely on no one and focus on her duty, even defying her superior, Celeste to do what's right. She essentially went on through the centuries as a loner..........that is until she meets Y/N.

Bernadette: 'I can't.....even if he is strong he's still mortal....'

Bernadette: 'Damn it!.....*sigh* 'I have to sort out my feelings for him.........I don't want to ask him but......I have no choice.'

She reluctantly walks away heading for the only archangel she knows is an expert at what she needs help with.

Later

Bernadette: *sigh* Azrael just for this one moment I need your help.

Azrael looks away from the clouds and turns to Bernadette who was just standing there, crossing her arms.

Azrael: Oh? Is it the sinners and souls again?

Bernadette: It's something else...... you may be quite familiar with.

Azrael: *interested* Something I'm familiar with? There's not a lot of things you do I'm familiar with Bernie......what is it?

Bernadette: How do you ask someone out on a date?

Azrael: *grin* I see what you're-

Bernadette: *growl* Not in a million years Azrael!

Azrael: *interested* Who's this lucky guy then?

Bernadette: *sigh* Y-Y/N.

He had a shocked look on his face before grinning madly. Though in the inside he was crying.

Azrael: *comical crying* 'The beautiful maiden has been taken.....but the great Azrael still has another!'

He took a moment to think before giving his response.

Azrael: You do realize he's in a polygamous relationship right?

Bernadette: I do.

Azrael: And you still want to ask him out-

Bernadette: *annoyed* Azrael....just tell me.

Azrael: *grin* Impatient I see~ Well in that case, ask him right ahead. He seems like the kind of person to be rather straight forward. I'm sure he wouldn't mind being asked anytime really.

Bernadette: I see...*nod* That is all I need.

*WOOSH*

She unleashes her wings and disappears in a flash, leaving Azrael wondering as he thinks of the slight blush on her face as she asks him for advice.

Azrael: Bernie rejecting the great Azrael but has feelings for a human? *grin* How the tables have turned~

Later

Bernadette: 'Deep breaths Bernadette....*deep breath* You can do this.'

She is just outside Y/N's apartment door, with her hand just about to knock on it.

Bernadette: 'Alright. Here it goe-'

*THUD*

The door opens to reveal Y/N with a jacket.

Y/N: Bernadette! *smile* It's nice to meet you today.

Bernadette: *nervous* It's nice to see you too.

Y/N: Is there a reason you're here?

Bernadette: *rubs back of head* Can I talk to you for a second Y/N? There's something I want to ask you.

Y/N: Well, go ahead. Tell me.

He looks at her only to notice the nervousness emanating from her as she rubs the back of her head.

Bernadette: How do I put this into words.....Um........*red* W-Will you go out with me?

Y/N:.......*grin* Like on a date?~

Bernadette: *red* OF COURSE NOT!

Bernadette: *sigh* Yes.

Y/N: *smirk* You're telling me our hangout 2 weeks ago wasn't a date~

Bernadette: *red* NO! I-

Y/N: If you really want to then I accept. Meet me by the park at 2 tomorrow afternoon.

And with that Y/N closes his apartment door and jogs away leaving her wondering.

Bernadette:..........'What do I do on a date?'

Meanwhile Y/N was panicking on the inside as he didn't expect her out of everyone to ask him out. Not to mention that was also the exact date he was going on a date with both Velvet and Revy.

Y/N:

'Oh shit! How do I tell Revy and Velvet this? They will kill me! I already was planning to go out with them tomorrow......I'll go talk to them then.'

Timeskip

Bernadette can be seen sitting on a park bench patiently waiting for Y/N while watching some kids play ball.

*THUD*

Bernadette: *turns* Hey Y/N- wait you two?!

She was expecting Y/N to come, though she was caught off guard as Revy and Velvet was also there besides him.

Y/N: They insisted on coming.

Revy: *scowl* Y/N's our fucking boyfriend angel wings so at least tell one of us!

Velvet: *pout* We haven't went on a date yet so I thought we can go together!

Bernadette: I-I Wha- h- I-

Bernadette splutters, trying to get the words out of her mouth only to blurt out random gibberish.

Bernadette: *points* Y-You're all ok with this?!

Y/N/Revy/Velvet: *smile* Yup.

Y/N: I seen it work before so why not go together?

Bernadette tries to respond, wanting to back out but then quiets down before she sighs.

Bernadette: *sigh* Fine. Where are we going Y/N?

Later

*BANG*

Y/N: *confused* The fuck?

Everyone was at the fair, where Velvet seen a prize of a customized plushie and wanted it.
Unfortunately, the 'secret' prize was obtained by shooting a nerf gun or throwing a ball and hitting a target that kept constantly moving.
Y/N was able to hit the secret target with the gun but it didn't go down much to his confusion.

Random employee: *sigh* Sorry you didn't knock it down.

Y/N: BULLSHIT!

Random Employee: Rules are rules. Give me $40 for one more shot or throw.

Everyone: WTF?!

Y/N: IT WAS 5!

Random Employee: *shrug* I don't give a shit. If you want to play, I suggest you pay up or leave............Or maybe~

The male employee then looks at the girls with a disgustingly lustful expression.

Random Employee: *perverted grin* They can give me something for free and you can get the special prize.

Bernadette/Velvet/Revy: HE-

Y/N: Fine....here's the money.

The girls could immediately tell Y/N was trying to suppress his anger and quiets down.

Random Employee: Alright then, here you g-

Y/N: DIE!

*CRACK*

Y/N takes the ball and throws it, obliterating the entire target set and crashing through 3 concrete walls before it comes to a stop hundreds of meters away. The employee's eyes widen as he stares at the destruction that Y/N caused.

Y/N: So what about the special prize Huh?

Employee: I-I don't t-think I c-can give y-you it- u-unless-

*BOOM*

Y/N punches the concrete wall next to him, obliterating it. The employee was literally shaking at the display of strength as Y/N grabs his shirt and looks him in the eye.

Y/N: If you even think of saying anything about my girlfriends THE NEXT BALL IS GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH YOUR FUCKING HEAD!

*THUD*

The employee out of fear slumps onto the ground unconscious and foaming at the mouth.

Y/N: *groan* Goddamnit.

Just then the manager pops out of nowhere and grabs the scuff of the employee's neck.

Manager: *bow* I'm really sorry about his behavior. We have been monitoring him for a while and he has done this many times already despite the chances I gave him. As compensation you can have 4 of the special prize.

Y/N: Alright then.

Manager: *nervous chuckle* But please don't destroy our stand and uh....wall next time even if you feel like he deserves it.

Y/N heads into a different booth, taking 5 minutes before walking out with a stuffed grimm cub, half-angel half-devil plushie, a regular stuffed bear, and a hand-made version of Velvet plushie.

Y/N: Here you go!

Velvet: Awww! Thanks Y/N!

She takes her plushie, hugging it tightly as her bunny ears curl inward.

Revy: *grab* Damn it's not too bad for a plain one.

She takes hers before stuffing it into her jacket. Meanwhile Bernadette had a look at hers, admiring its look as she hugs it.

Bernadette: It's.......*smile* beautiful. *brow raised* But was it necessary to scare the employee and destroy his stand?

Revy/Y/N/Velvet: Yes.

Bernadette: *nod* I understand.

Later

Velvet: *happy* AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Revy: *screaming* FFFUUUCCCKKK YYYEEEAAHHH!

Y/N: WATCH THE HAIR!!!!

Bernadette: I KNOW!

The roller coaster continues to speed around for 3 minutes due to an unfortunately malfunction, so Y/N had to do something to avoid Bernadette's hair from tangling up so he held her close by the waist to lock in her hair as the coaster was driven up and down.

Bernadette: THANKS!

Y/N: YOUR WELCOME!

Y/N: Is it ok to let go now?

Bernadette: Just stay like this.

Later
.
Bernadette: C-can I go down now?!

Y/N continues to carry Bernadette on his back, with her red face buried into his neck and Velvet and Revy looking amused at the scene.

Y/N: *smirk* You said that just as I carried you~

Revy: As much as I love to watch this, we're here.

Velvet: It's a new restaurant in town apparently.

Y/N plops Bernadette down at that moment, leaving her a little disappointed though they turn to the restaurant that they were in front of.

Y/N: What are we waiting for?

Revy: Yeah yeah I'm coming in. 

Inside

Entrance man: *smile* Hello and welcome to Cole's Diner. How may I help you?

Y/N: May I have a table for 4?

Entrance man: Certainly.

He then noticed the 3 girls behind Y/N.

Entrance man: Are these your friends?

Y/N: We're dating.

Entrance man: *smirk* You must be quite the player to date 3 girls. Table 4 is available and I wish you good luck on your date.

Y/N: *waves* Thanks man.

The 4 walks over to table 4 and sat down on-

Chase: Y/N?

Y/N turns his head to find Chase and Scarlet sitting right next to them with Brook at a neighboring table.

Y/N: *confused* Chase? What are you doing here?

Chase rubbed his head as Scarlet gave a small smile.

Chase: *chuckle* W-Well me and Scarlet are official now and I thought today was the perfect day to go on a date with her.

Y/N: Congratulations you've finally met the perfect girl.

Chase: Heh thanks.....

Scarlet: *narrow* Wait what is SHE doing here?!

Scarlet points accusingly to Bernadette as Brook took notice of her and warily had his hands in front of him. 

Y/N: Well you know how I'm on a date right?

Chase: Yeah. You're dating Revy and Velvet.....

Their eyes widen as they suddenly realized the reason.

Brook: *shock* You're dating HER as well?!

Scarlet: *splutter* A-ALL 3 OF YOU?!

Bernadette: *shy* Y-Yeah...

Revy: *coo* Aw what's the matter~  Bernie too embarrassed to say anything else?~

Bernadette: *red* HEY! I-I'm just new to this whole dating thing!

Velvet: *shrug* We're all new to this. Though you seem even more shy than me. 

Bernadette: *red* THAT'S NOT THE POINT!

Meanwhile the 2 reapers and Chase listened to the group, taken aback by how red her face was and how she was talking with Y/N.

Y/N: Velvet, Revy, Bernadette.....*wave* Can we all stop arguing and just enjoy our time here?

Bernadette: *sigh* Sorry....

Y/N: It's alright.

Revy: *grin* I'm enjoying this little hangout of ours already!

Later

Chase: *embarrassed* NO! NOT MY BABY PHOTOS!

Scarlet: *grin* TOO BAD! Everyone! Here's what he looks like as a child!

Scarlet proceeds to hold out Chase's childhood photos which made everyone laugh out loud. 

Brook: *SNORT* O-Oh yeah

Velvet: *comical crying* I-It's beautiful...

Revy: BWAHAHAHA YOU LOOK UGLY AS FUCK!

Bernadette:.....Hehe *covers mouth*

Y/N: *chuckle* GOOD ONE!

Conveniently, the waiter came to our tables at this moment as he turns to all of them.

Hank: May I take your order?

Y/N: Hank?

Revy: *confused* What the hell are you doing here?

Velvet: Wait I saw you at the nearby alleyway hours ago!

Hank: Cmon...you all expect me to be killing everyday? I'm an assassin by day and a waiter by night!

Chase: *realize* SO IT'S YOU! So that's why those corrupt politicians were found dead in their homes!

Brook: *fidget* You stole my kill dude.

Scarlet: Chase planned for us to kill them.

Hank: *chuckle* Sorry guys. I'll leave the easier ones to you then.

Meanwhile Bernadette looks at Hank weirdly, seeing how tall he was compared to everyone as she turns to Y/N. 

Bernadette: Is this really who you're friends with?

Y/N: *smile* Once you get to know him, he's actually quite nice for a mass mur-

*BANG*

Robber 1: EVERYONE DOWN! THIS IS A ROBBERY!

Robber 2: *confused* Why are we robbing this restaurant in the first place?

Ex-employee: *grit* This place is loaded. Once we get the money we can move away and get a new job again! WITHOUT BEING FIRED!

Scarlet/Revy/Velvet/Bernadette: *angry* 'THE PERVERT?!'

Y/N: 'He's actually fucking around with me.'

*BANG*

Everyone got down, screaming as the robbers shot the ceiling. Of course our protagonists just stood there, confident on handling the situation....though their faces screamed bloody murder. The used-to-be-employee of course notices Y/N  right away and walks over to him, pointing a gun at his head.

Ex-employee: Well well look what we have here....

Y/N: *annoyed* What do you want?

Ex-employee: WHAT DO I WANT?! *grit* YOU GOT ME FIRED, RUINED MY REPUTATION, AND EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT OF MY FRIENDS HERE!

Y/N: *smirk* Your reputation as a pervert?

*BANG*

He shoots the table next to Y/N's hand before pointing the gun right at his forehead. 

Ex-employee: SHUT THE FUCK UP OR I'LL SPLATTER YOUR BRAINS ON THIS TABLE!

But then he gazed upon Bernadette, a grin growing as she had a disgusted look on her face. 

Ex-employee: *grin* Or maybe your blond friend can blow me and you can go home without a bullet in your skul-

*CRUNCH*

Y/N grabs the gun and crushes it under his grip until it was nothing but a mangled piece of metal. Seeing him drop the metal onto the floor, the ex-employee and his two friends start to sweat as they looked at the veins bulging out of Y/N's head. 

Y/N: Come again?

*BAM*

Later

Y/N: I'm sure they're fine.

After the robbers were arrested by the police and transported to the hospital everyone took their order and ate their dinner while chatting. 

Chase:.......You broke both his arms and cracked his skull onto the ground. His two friends aren't going to be able to use their legs for a while either. 

Revy: The fucking pervert deserved to have his groin busted open!

Brook: 'No children for him.'

Velvet: *purr* T-This is some good food~

Scarlet: *crunch* True.

While everyone was frolicking with each other, Bernadette taps Y/N on the shoulder.

Bernadette: You know I could've handled myself there.

Y/N: I know but what kind of person would I be if I don't defend my girlfriend?

Bernadette: *red* M-Me?!

Y/N: For today yeah.

Bernadette: *disappointed* Oh.....ok. 

Later

Chase: *yawn* It's getting late. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Chase heads into his apartment to rest for the night as Y/N did the same. Before he closes the door though, a foot stops him. He turns, seeing Bernadette still there before stepping outside.

Y/N: You want to talk?

Bernadette: Look I-

Y/N: *yawn* Let's get this over with.

Her eyes widen as Y/N smashes his lips against hers without warning, her whole face turning red as he pulls away.

Bernadette: *red* Y/N?!

Y/N: *whisper* Do you have feelings for me?

Bernadette:..........N-No-

Y/N: *whisper* I saw the way you were looking at me Bernadette.....but you don't have to explain. If you have feelings for me then I'll accept them.

Bernadette: B-But what about your girlfriends?

Y/N: I already discussed with them beforehand. Why did you think they were ok with you coming on the date?

He holds his hand out to caress her face, seeing the faint blush on her cheeks as he leans in.

Y/N: You don't have to speak......let's just enjoy this moment together......alright?

Bernadette: *nervous* O-Ok.

Given her permission, he kisses her gently, one hand holding hers while the other wraps around her waist whilst pinning her to the wall. She closes her eyes, enjoying the foreign warmth of his touch as she softly moans to the feeling of his tongue in her mouth. After a few minutes, they both separate, Y/N's hand still caressing her beautiful face.

Y/N: How was the kiss Bernadette?

Bernadette: *nervous* E-Exceptional....

Y/N: It's getting late....but I would like to invite you inside my apartment for the night if you don't mind...

Bernadette: *shakes head* No not at all! I wouldn't mind-

Later

Bernadette: *red* T-This is undignified!

She tenses up, hugging Y/N rather tightly as Velvet hugs her from behind while Revy snuggles against his chest. 

Revy: *snuggle* You'll get used to it.

Y/N: *cuddle* Don't be so nervous....this maybe be unusual for new couples but you'll get used to it. 

Bernadette: *nervous* It's just......overwhelming......I-I never been this close w-with someone before....

Y/N: Just relax Bernadette...... just relax.....

He could feel her heartbeat, her breath breezing on the back of his neck. She was a bit nervous about this kind of physical contact, but feeling the comfort of his warmth, Bernadette gives in and melts onto Y/N, this time unmoving as if she enjoys it. 

*CLICK*

Y/N: *yawn* Goodnight everyone.....

Revy/Velvet: *yawn* Goodnight Y/N.....

They all slept, leaving Bernadette awake.......though she had a smile on her face. 

Bernadette: *smile* 'Thank you Y/N.'
