He learned his power was to control a plane of existence between realms known as the abyss and use its energy to empower himself and use it to his whim in any way he wishes although with its limits. Ishiin trained in various martial arts and became an inventor which he made his attire and weaponry. He also become proficient in the art of surgery through books and practice on mannequins.
