You rose through the ranks alongside Reptile, and you both reached considerable positions of power, but you managed to make it a step further and become general second only to Shao Kahn himself.

Among your duties to Outworld was to guard empress Sindel's quarters, which was less than ideal at first, as the threatening vixen believed she needed no help.

On one of your later checks on Sindel, you found her quietly sitting on the edge of her bed, seemingly sulking over something unknown.

You hesitated to speak, but you had to ensure Sindel was safe.

You: Empress? Is everything okay?

Sindel looked to you with tear streaks across her porcelain face, which she quickly wiped away.

Sindel: Yes, I will be.

Sindel spoke with an authoritative yet weak voice, her emotions easily seen on her face.

You quickly assessed that Sindel was physically well, and left to avoid her anger.

Sindel stopped you with a question.

Sindel: Does the emperor ever show you he cares?

You turned back into Sindel's room, unable to answer her question.

Sindel: He is such a monster sometimes. After everything I do for him he would rather lay with concubines then me, his wife.

You struggled to find a response.

You: I...

Sindel's eyes filled with light tears as you felt a sudden response erupt from your mouth.

Sindel looked at you and blushed, clearly both flattered and taken aback by what you said.

Sindel: Thank you General...and...you can call me Sindel.

Sindel laid back on her bed with a groan.

Sindel: All this sulking has made me stiff as a board, I won't get any sleep.

You spoke up.

Shao Kahn has just left Outworld, and Sindel was giving a secret order to Reptile in the throne room.

Sindel: Once Shao Kahn leaves Outworld, you and the soldiers I sent out are to "remove" him. Ensure he does not return to Outworld.

Reptile: Yes Empress, but who will replace Shao Kahn?

Sindel looked over into the shadows of the throne room, and saw the gleam from your armor as you hid behind a pillar.

Sindel: I have someone in mind. Now go, and do not return unless Shao Kahn is dead.

Reptile: Yes Empress.

Reptile left, leaving Sindel alone with you in the throne room.

Sindel: Who hides and watches me.

Sindel extended her hair to pull you from your hiding spot.

Sindel: Well...it is a handsome prince come to save the queen

You leaned over Sindel as she sat on her throne.

You: A rescue I have waited all day for.

You kissed Sindel as you placed a hand on her cheek, you both deep in love.
