(SCENE: WASTELANDS OF OUTWORLD) (POV: OSCAR)

After escaping from Shang Tsung's Flesh Pits, me and Kitana's sister, whose called Mileena, are waiting on the side of the beach for either Jade or someone else to show up.

Suddenly, I heard someone approaching. I turned to see Jade approaching the beach. "That should distance me from any pursuers." She says as I decided to make my presence known. "And exactly what pursuers are you talking about?" I asked, causing Jade to turn to me and prepares for a fight.

"Easy Green Bean, I ain't for a fight." I said as Jade noticed Mileena. "By the gods, you are the creation Kitana mentioned." She says as I positioned myself between Jade & Mileena. "Yes, she is. But she's not a threat. There's no need to harm her." I said, trying to reason with Jade.

Suddenly, lightning came down as Raiden, Johnny Cage, Smoke, Liu Kang & Kung Lao appears from it. Smoke sees the situation before him and completely mistakes the situation. "Kitana turns away from Shao Kahn and you wish to finish her instead of joining her?!?!?" Smoke questions with a tone that sounds similar to betrayal.

"Smoke, stop! That is not Kitana!" Raiden exclaims while stopping Liu Kang from entering the fray. Unfortunately, Smoke didn't hear Raiden's words. "You will come no closer!" He exclaims as he rushes at Jade & attacks her.

Smoke's ability to manipulate smoke & vapor is incredible, but Jade's combat experience won out on top. "I did not wish to do that." She says as she approaches Raiden.

Me and Mileena joins Liu Kang, Kung Lao & Johnny Cage. "Lord Raiden? I was with Smoke. I thought she was one of the bad guys, er girls. Guess he turned another one. What does he have that I don't?" Johnny Cage asks.

"Godlike powers." Answers Liu Kang. "A personality that is not at all like sanding paper." Kung Lao answers. "And Oscar?" Johnny Cage asks. "A respectable image." Liu Kang answers. "Skills not made for cheap movies from an outdated store." Kung Lao answers.

"Jerks." Johnny Cage says as Liu Kang's attention was grabbed when Jade mentioned Kitana being executed. We approached the two as I helped Smoke onto his feet. "Kitana? Executed? Where is she?" Liu Kang asks.

"Held captive in the tower of Shao Kahn's fortress." Jade explains. "We must rescue her. Kitana's capture & execution is my fault. Oscar Luonto, Liu Kang & Kung Lao will go to the tower while the rest of us will fight in their stead." Raiden explains as we all nod our heads in agreement at the plan.

"Before I go, I want you to hold onto this." I said as I hand Raiden the bag I've find in Shang Tsung's private quarters. "These gems have a powerful energy to them & I found them in Shang Tsung's private quarters at his Flesh Pits. Make sure these gems don't fall back into his hands." I explained as Raiden took the bag and nod his head.

With that done, me & the Shaolin Monks raced off to the tower to save Kitana.

(SCENE CHANGE: SHAO KAHN'S TOWER)

We arrived at the tower as we look around for Kitana. "I just your girlfriend is worth our lives." Kung Lao says, expecting a rise out of him. "Noticed that I'm ignoring you." Liu Kang says in a deadpan tone, causing me to chuckle a little at this.

"Seems like Jade's intrusion caused them to relocate Kitana." I said as the doors opened. Kano & Reptile emerges from one side while an all black figure emerges from the other. "We have indeed. We knew someone would come for her." The black figure says.

Me, Liu Kang & Kung Lao looked at each other and nod our heads as we tackled our opponents: I took on Kano while Liu Kang gets Reptile & Kung Lao fights the black figure.

"You drongo, you killed a lot of my men at Sun Do. Imma gut you like I do to hogs back home." Kano says as he takes out his knives and charged at me. I turned my arms into pure steel and blocked the incoming attack.

Kano's robot eye started glowing as I quickly transform my head into glass. When his laser hits my head, the light of the laser refracted away from me and directly at Reptile.

"Oh shit, sorry mate." Kano says as he stops firing his laser. Once he stopped, I changed my head back to his man as I knee'd him in the stomach. This caused him to drop his knives as I twist my arms around his. I then create a bright flash of light from eyes, temporarily blinding him and causing him to staggered backwards a bit.

I then drop kicked him in the stomach as I jumped back onto my feet while Kano gets back up. "Guess now I know why Kobra failed to gut ya. Perhaps you can consider ditching the boys scout and joining us." Kano offered.

"And just like I told him: take that offer of yours and shove it up your ass." I said as I gathered electricity into my mouth and fired a blast of lightning at Kano, sending him flying into a wall, knocking him out cold. "Lowlife scum." I said to myself as I turned to see Liu Kang has defeated Reptile and Kung Lao defeated that strange figure.

Liu Kang & I regroup with Kung Lao. "If Kitana's not here, then she must be at the Koliseum. A traitor's death in front of everyone would bring Shao Kahn great glory." I said in a theory sounding voice.

"Then we need to hurry to the Koliseum! Kitana might not have much time!" Liu Kang exclaims in desperation as we rushed towards the Koliseum.

(SCENE CHANGE: KOLISEUM) (POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON)

Meanwhile, back in the Koliseum, Johnny Cage & Stain were battling against Ermac and Baraka. While Johnny Cage was struggling against Ermac, Stain appears to be evenly matched with Baraka.

Johnny Cage attempts a kick, but Ermac caught it and breaks Johnny's knee. Ermac then knocks Cage out with open palm strike to the face. "Ermac wins." Shang Tsung announces as Ermac performs a little soul magic flex.

Meanwhile, Stain and Baraka are locked in a blade to blade battle. Stain lands a lucky strike across Baraka's chest. He then licks his blade, activating his Quirk and causing Baraka to freeze dead in his track. Stain then backflip kicks Baraka, sending him flying & knocking him out cold.

"Stain wins. Earthrealm & Outworld appear to be tied." Shang Tsung announces with a tone of disappointment in his voice. Liu Kang, Kung Lao & Oscar appear on the scene as Liu Kang spots Kitana tied up.

"There she is. We must free her." Liu Kang says as Raiden joins. "Liu Kang, wait! Johnny Cage & Smoke have been defeated and I no longer sense Jackson Briggs' nor Sonya Blade's presence in Outworld. We need to divide our forces: one will fight while the other free Kitana." Raiden explains as Shao Kahn calls out to Raiden.

"Raiden! Put forth a worth champion! If you can." He demands while making a slight sneer at the last bit. Oscar then turns to the group. "Me and Liu Kang will free Kitana while Kung Lao fights." He says as he turns to Kung Lao. "Sorry for the pressure." He says as he and Liu Kang went to save Kitana.

Kung Lao then turns to Raiden for assurance. "Every hero has a chance to prove himself. Looks like now is your time. Go and win, Kung Lao." Raiden says as Kung Lao smiles at this and nods his head.

He then steps forward as Shao Kahn announces the match up. "The monk shall face off against both Shang Tsung & Quan Chi." He announces as the two sorcerers take their place. "No Earthrealm boy can stop this Deadly Alliance." Quan Chi says. "On that we agree." Shang Tsung adds on as the two sorcerers battles against the descendant of the Great Kung Lao.

There combined magic was difficult to overcome, but Kung Lao managed to best the two sorcerers. "It is done." He says as Shang Tsung glared at him. "Oh no, Kung Lao. It is far from done, which you'll soon see." He says as he and Quan Chi returns to Shao Kahn's side.

Meanwhile, Liu Kang & Oscar managed to push through the Tarkatans as they were stopped by Tanya, Skarlet & Nitara. "Girls, I thought we had no conflicts." Oscar questions.

"We shouldn't but we can't disobey Shao Kahn." Tanya says in a sad filled tone. Oscar notices something odd with them as he leans next to Liu Kang. "I'll handle them, you go free Kitana. Take these." He whispers as he hands Liu Kang his swords.

Liu Kang took the swords & rushed past the girls. Oscar sensed something radiating magical energy on the girls, but he can't exactly pinpoint where. "I wished we didn't have to fight, but all don't come true, sadly." He says as he rushed at the girls.

Meanwhile, Kung Lao hears the sound of opening gates as Kintaro emerging from it and approaching the monk with thundering footsteps. "You will die like your pathetic Great Kung Lao did: by Shokan hands." He growls as Kung Lao scowls at this.

"You'll find this Kung Lao to different breed then the one Goro killed years ago." Kung Lao says as he prepares for battle.

Kintaro holds all of the same abilities as Goro & Sheeva, but is more agile & much stronger then Goro. However, he has the same weakness as Goro: his massive size. Kung Lao utilizes his speed & aerokinetic abilities to best the Tigrar Shokan.

While this was happening, Oscar has defeated the girls as he came over to inspect them. "Why would someone as them follow Shao Kahn?" He asks himself when the magic he detected earlier became much stronger and much clearer.

Oscar uses his powers to dispel illusions as it reveals collars with magical runes on it. "What the hell are these?" He asks himself as he went to inspect.

But he suddenly stopped when he sensed someone approaching Kung Lao from behind. Acting on instinct, he fires a blast of energy at the person & subconsciously hoping it wasn't anyone on his side.

Thankfully, it turned out to be Shao Kahn. Kung Lao quickly turned to the downed emperor and turned to Oscar. "Thanks. You can take it from here." He says as he was about to return to the sidelines when Oscar stopped him. "Before you do, grab the girls I defeated. They can be great allies to us." He says as Kung Lao nod his head and went to help bring Tanya, Skarlet & Nitara to the sidelines.

Oscar then takes Kung Lao's place as Shao Kahn recovers from Oscar's blast. "Witless boy, do you know who I am?!?!?!?" He questions with anger in his voice. "A spineless coward who strikes when one's guard is down." Oscar says, angering Shao Kahn.

"I am Shao Kahn! Conqueror of worlds! You will taste no victory!" He roars our in anger as he summons his Wrath Hammer and charges at Oscar, who digs his hands into the ground and pulls out twin stone axes.

He blocks the incoming attack with one axe. Now with Kahn within range, Oscar transforms his other stone axe into a stone sword and starts stabbing Shao Kahn repeatedly in his gut. The emperor grabs Oscar's arm upon his final stab and slams him onto the ground. He attempts to splatter Oscar's head like a watermelon, but he quickly rolls out of the way.

Before Shao Kahn could even continue his attack on Oscar, Liu Kang came in and Flying Dragon Kicked the emperor's chest, knocking him down on the ground. He then helps Oscar up. "Sorry for the wait, figured I help Kung Lao get those women you battled to Lord Raiden. It turns out those collars are actually Slave Collars. They force people to do exactly what the creator of those collars do or else suffer with immense pain." Liu Kang explains as Oscar became angry and disgusted with Shao Kahn.

"Liu Kang, give me my swords and join the others. Raiden's visions be damned, he needs to suffer." He orders, taking Liu Kang back since he never seen Oscar this angry before nor did he hear him make such an order before.

Liu Kang decided to let Oscar work out his anger, he did as he ordered and handed him swords back & took to the sidelines. Oscar got back onto his fight and empowers his swords with all 6 elements that creates harmony: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light & Darkness.

He charged at Shao Kahn, who just got back up from Liu Kang's surprise attack, and unleashed a flurry of sword strikes and stabs onto Shao Kahn.

Nearly everyone present was shocked at the brutality shown before them. The crowd was a dead silence at seeing there emperor being brutally beaten.

Shao Kahn attempts to strike him with his hammer, but Oscar ducked under the hammer and stabbed his leg. The emperor screamed in pain as he forced to one knee. Oscar then sheathed his sword and maneuvered behind Shao Kahn & jumped onto his back as he grabbed one of Shao Kahn's shoulder spikes and breaks it off.

He then started using it stab Shao Kahn's back and neck repeatedly. The emperor tries to shake Oscar off, but he accidentally tripped himself up & lost his balance as he fell on the ground while Oscar leapt off before Shao Kahn could take him down with him.

Oscar then tossed the shoulder spike aside as he took out his swords and combined them into its glaive form. He charges at Shao Kahn, who was trying to stand up while using his hammer to steady himself.

Leaping high in the air, Oscar grips his weapons tightly as he readies himself to end this fight. Before Shao Kahn could even defend or attack at all, Oscar thrust his weapon through Shao Kahn's skull, causing his eyes to turn blood red, most likely due to the amount of blood being simulated from the weapon piercing his skull.

The crowd were flabbergasted at this as Oscar pulls his weapon out of Shao Kahn's skull and returns them to their scabbards. "I cannot believe it. Earthrealm has won." Shang Tsung says in disbelief.

Suddenly, light from the sky shines brightly as it shines directly on Oscar. Raiden knew exactly what this means. "The Elder Gods have spoken. Earthrealm is free of Shao Kahn forever." He says.

Shang Tsung then instructs all Outworld warriors on their side to leave as Tarkatans picked up Shao Kahn's body and dragged it out. Oscar suddenly felt light of mind and body as he collapsed on the arena floor.

"OSCAR/HUSBAND/LUONTO!!!!" His friends & allies shouted in concern as they rushed to his side.

(Here's chapter 8 done. Welp: Oscar saved Kung Lao's ass while also killing Shao Kahn. But of course, we all know he ain't gonna stay dead for long. Again, I hope people don't mind the slight retcons I did to some characters, like Mileena & Tanya. Anyways, next chapter will start with a familiar face and end with a familiar scene.)
